Game Master Dungeon Master Nathan

Calimport, city of intrigue, city of slaves.

How Calimport is structured:

Calimport:
The smallest subdivision of a Calishite town is called a Drudach.Every drudach contained at minimum the following structures:[1][3]

a well, fountain, or other source of drinking water or a place of refreshment/entertainment, such as an inn, tavern, or festhall,
a shrine, temple, or other religious site,
a bazaar or khanduq or an administrative/government building for the town or city,
a service building, such as smithies or guildhouses,
the villa of the druzir, and
an amlakkhan for housing the city guard/watch.

Three to five drudachs form a Sabban:Each Drudach is walled off and each Sabban is surrounded by another surrounding wall. All of Calimport is subdivided by walls built long ago by the Genies that ruled Calimport.

Evil Campaign:
Evil:
This is going to be an Evil campaign. What does that mean?
It means bad stuff is going to happen a lot. Slavery is common in Calimport and many leaders of the city are themselves evil. Characters are expected to finish off enemies and tie loose ends. Criminals don't leave witnesses. However, that does not mean there will not be consequences for excessive and public acts. The cities security forces known as the Amlakkar are assigned to each of the Drudachs and report directly to Sultans.
