Game Master Mimesyne

A pirate themed, seafaring adventure filled with brigands who aim to swash every buckle and buckle every swash. There's probably at least one Jack Sparrow and maybe that cat-lady from Treasure Planet. All in all, it should be good times.

Round 7
Initiative 14
Did my parry/riposte take care of Orange? No biggie if it didn't.

"Huzzah!" I exclaimed as I turned another blade. "You face the Pirate Poisson! I mean to have your vessel and woe to any who resist! So don't!" I admonished to those still on the sterncastle.

Just as I anticipated seeing those defending the helm throw down their arms, I caught a glimpse of several sailors making for the jolly in a bid to escape. "Excuse me for a moment!" I told them, and slipped down to the main deck to challenge the newcomers, and noticed that Gall had deigned to join the fray.

"Ahoy, there, Gall! There's still a bit of resistance, so could you come along and dissuade these chaps from trying to launch their boat?"

I moved past him and stepped up to the first of the sailors. "You there! Give up now!" I said as I brandished my cutlass in his direction.

"Aye, workin' on it, lad. We aren't all as bloody speedy as ye are. F@@#in' rabbit with a pig-sticker," Gall ends up grumbling good-naturedly, though the idle smirk that crosses his lips counters his complaints. He reaches over his shoulder to drag the sword the size of a gangplank out and makes for the nearest sailor. "Just ye save one of these sods for the rest of us, aye?"

Harmony keeps trying to make her hypnotism work, taking a move action if necessary to get to a better positioning so her spell can reach enemy sailors, and then using a standard action to cast Hypnotism once more. She keeps using pacifying rhetoric, trying to get the enemies to lose morale and give up, laying down their arms, just like before. She has one more round of this left (after this one), then she is going to be out of magic and is going to have to resort to violence. Starting to worry a little bit now.

My cutlass flashed and the men fell around me. I felt the hand of my father upon me as I looked around for more foes to face. Back at the other launch, I spied another group of sailors, including one who appeared to be an officer!
