Harbour Gut:

Type disease, ingested; Save Fortitude DC 13
Onset ld3 days; Frequency l/d ay
Effect ld2 Dex damage; Cure 2 consecutive saves

Aqua 1d3 ⇒ 1 Days
Necalli 1d3 ⇒ 1 Days
Uncle-T 1d3 ⇒ 3 Days

Mood Music
You sail the captured pirate vessel The Lionfish towards Viper Cove, there is an upbeat mood as you sail the seas from the legendary pirate enclave of Riddleport.

Aqua, Necalli, and Uncle-T start feeling a bit odd; Aqua and Necalli succumb to 'abdominal cramping' from ingesting the dirty harbour water!
Uncle-T can see what his fate has in store...

Aqua 1d2 ⇒ 2 Dex damage
Nec 1d2 ⇒ 2 Dex damage

***
The only landing point on the rocky islet called Viper Cove seems to be through a cave entrance that leads to a shallow cove concealed within the island itself. The walls of the cavern are lined with torch-adorned sconces, and another ship is already moored on the north eastern side of the embankment - Topaz Titan is emblazoned across its hull in orange letters that shine brilliantly even in the limited light. On the eastern side of the large cavern two exits lead further into the cave complex.

Sail in or swim in? You can't see any guards.

Aquavius enjoys the cheap rum, setting sail, spotting out of the crows nest and the sea wind in her hair.

"Aye boys. Here's the life: Water on all sides, wind in the sails, and rum in your tummy. That's the life for me! ...Right after I deal with this... oh, I think I drank something bad yesterday."

Aquavius spends some time dealing with her cramps. She also notices Necali having his own trouble. "You too, huh?"

---

The crew approaches the island, and Aquavius jumps to life again. "We're here. I hope this island is cleaner than Riddleport. Here goes."

Aquavius leaps right into the sea.

Juan has been minding the wheel/tiller and making sure that the vessel stays on a proper course for most of this time, taking breaks to eat while letting the brisk breeze blow through his hair.

"Arr." He notes Aqua and Neca's apparent discomfort, as much as they show, and shrugs.

He remembers something the sensible frog-person said, though...

"Alejia is aboard the Topaz Titan, she deferred her regular duties as captain to Me - I was put in charge of the Lionfish while Alejia infiltrated the Topaz Titan, and that I'm supposed to sail the ship out to sea to rendezvous with her after she takes the Topaz Titan. If I don’t show up, she’ll execute the plan anyway, simply scuttling the Topaz Titan once she brings it near a harbor instead of allowing us to loot the cargo".

Given that the 'cargo' is probably the cyphermages that the team is looking for, he's not so keen on the idea of abandoning the ship. So when Aqua goes over the side he blinks a few times and stares before going back to the work of guiding the ship cautiously to the Titan...

You slip in quietly, and disembark like seasoned professionals.

You stand on the sandy beach and you can see a pile of boxes and cargo unloaded neatly. A passage leads to the east, and a series of wooden planks set into the soft sediment lead down to the north.

Now would be a good time to start reporting guys :) The form is at the top of this thread. Cheers!

Day Job(Sailor): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

The sea feels just right. Aquavius has a good swim through the water. Turns out it's much cleaner than whatever was going through Riddleport. She still feels a bit more sluggish than before.

"Sorry fellas. Had to practice my backstroke." She squeezes some water out of her pants. "I also figured a good swim would help my indigestion."

Looking at the two entrances, Aquavius suggests the party splits up and takes both paths. "We know Aleja will be here, but we don't know her defenses. Pincering her may be best."

If the group agrees, Aquavius will draw her rapier and head North (to the left)

An iron gate blocks access to this passage, where a series of wooden planks set into the soft sediment of the cavern’s floor provide a steep stairway into the chamber beyond.
