Raven, Crafter of Shadow |

There are rogue members of every race. I can create a backstory where he learned to read due to the fact he created bigger booms when he used formulas.
A crazy goblin, by goblin standards. He learned to read?!? RUN!!!

Teeth |

Crunch completed with gear. I spent 107gp for 1/7 of a wand of CLW 50 charges that I will carry with me.
I plan to buy an alchemy lab soon to make potions for the party, but I will need someone to carry it for me (40 pounds). Anyone have extra carrying capacity until I can afford a Haversack?
I took Disable Device to take care of non magic traps and locks(Omoro is a ninja not a rogue so he has no DD). Does anyone have unseen servant to take care of magical traps or plan on taking dispel magic?
Teeth will be a controller/AOE damager/Enabler-Healer.
I made him LN as I see him being loyal to his new masters.
Hehehehehehe...Incoming!

Good minds think alike Bound Shade. In all fairness, I don't think that I want to involve another Sczarni family with our private business. Especially when hunting an artifact. If the Tower Girls are already on the outs with them however, then this works very well for us. What do you guys think? Its possible we could go to the the Wreckwash Blades and offer to take out the Tower Girls for a kick back, but there might be strings attached.

Raven, Crafter of Shadow |

My schedule is kinda hectic, so busy might be appropriate to say :) I probably won't be able to post again until tomorrow as long day then long drive back home (out of town at present) so here's my opinions. I will try to keep an eye on my games, and if I can find a moment to post will, just not likely.
Looks like we have two discussion points at present, correct me if I'm wrong. Returning Natalya's gear and going to the Wreckwash Blades.
1) As stated in the gameplay thread, Raven would be fore returning Natalya's gear as Sheila seems to be leaning that way. If we want to do so and take her with, that'd be my vote. If the group votes the other way, fine with that though.
2) Wreckwash Blades. Raven would say no.

** Characters can’t spend multiple PA for more items costing more than 750 gp.
Pathfinder Faction Points.
1 TPA: When in the Grand Lodge library, gain a +5 circumstance bonus on one Knowledge check. The check takes 1 hour, reflecting the need to reference the appropriate materials. This bonus does not stack with the +4 bonus on one check listed on page 55.
1 CPA: Transcribe a common spell (one listed in the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook, or any spell the GM feels is common in the world) from the Grand Lodge library into a wizard’s spellbook or alchemist’s formula book. This benefit does not require a Spellcraft check or any additional transcribing costs.
5 TPA, 1 CPA: Become familiar with an uncommon or rare spell (at the GM’s discretion) from the Grand Lodge library, allowing a bard, sorcerer, or similar spellcaster to select it as a spell known at the next available opportunity (this benefit allows the character to gain access to bard or sorcerer spells from sources other than the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook without having to do spell research or find a copy of the spell while adventuring).
5 TPA, 1 CPA: Exchange one character trait taken at character creation for a new Pathfinder Society trait (see the Appendix). The character must still obey the normal trait system rules (such as not having more than one trait from the same category); however, the new trait does not need to be from the same category as the trait it replaces.
5 TPA, 5+ CPA: Gain a contact in a particular city. The character can consult with the contact for local gossip, news, and advice; this benefit grants the character a +2 bonus on Diplomacy checks to gather information, Knowledge (history), Knowledge (local), Knowledge (nobility), and Knowledge (religion) checks regarding the contact’s city made within that city. The character must wait 24 hours for the contact to provide the desired information. For an additional 10 CPA, the bonus from the contact increases to +4. A character may have contacts in multiple cities, but multiple contacts in the same city provide no extra benefit. If the contact dies, the character can spend CPA to find a replacement contact.
10 TPA: Purchase faction spellcasting (see the Appendix) at 1 CPA less than normal (minimum 1).
15 TPA, 2 CPA: Access a special section of the Grand Lodge library for 1 week and gain a +10 circumstance bonus on any one Knowledge check. This bonus does not stack with the +4 bonus on one check listed on page 55.
20 TPA: Gain free passage on caravans and merchant vessels that are friendly to the Pathfinder Society.
20 TPA: Purchase any magic item worth up to 10,000 gp value from a Pathfinder lodge at a 10% discount.
20 TPA, 1+ CPA: Access a hidden cache of supplies in a wilderness area. These supplies consist of survival gear such as dried food, clean water, spare weapons, rope, sunrods, spell components, and other nonmagical equipment listed in the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook. Spending CPA on this resource represents finding a cache within 2d6 × 10 minutes from the character’s current location; the character does not need to plan ahead for this cache or know of its existence (it is, in effect, a plot device for acquiring emergency items). A typical cache contains up to 375 gp worth of these goods, and many times they are found near sites the Pathfinders planned to explore at some point. This resource always incurs the +5 CPA increase for being outside of community of at least 5,000 people.
40 TPA, 1 CPA: Gain a reputation as a famous and successful Pathfinder. The character is in effect a celebrity adventurer and is well known in several countries (though whether this is fame or infamy depends on the history and personality of the character). This reputation grants the character a +2 circumstance bonus on Bluff, Diplomacy, and Intimidate checks when dealing with someone who knows of her fame. Many Pathfinders with this level of prestige go on to become venture-captains (though the Decemvirate selects venture-captains based on qualities other than prestige).

So something interesting I found looking at this list is the following use: 2 Purchase a single item worth 750 gp** So basically, we all got the equivalent of 1,000gp from the Venture Capt. 250 per person for the capture and 750gp from the faction points.

DM Bound Shade |

Thanks for the posting of the faction benefits, Nadja. I was going to wait until the characters rested for the evening, but never a better time than now. There might be a few inconsistencies between the two, so I'll post the final chart in the Campaign Notes later. You post will make putting it up there much easier, so long as you don't mind me copying it.

Raven, Crafter of Shadow |

I'll refigure loot out momentarily.

Raven, Crafter of Shadow |

Wasn't that hard actually. The big thing is, aside from items (which was pretty much everything people took), the only gold that we lost was 55gp.
Original Money Division each: 433.21
New Money Division each: 425.35
Subtract: 7.86 from total
This puts the total in Party Treasure up to 5 cp now.
Also, we still have a Masterwork Silver Dagger, just an FYI if someone wants it. This wasn't on Natalya.

Thank you for recalculating the loot. I will decrease my wealth by 55 gp. Is everyone willing to chip in 105 for a wand of CLW Teeth can carry?

Raven, Crafter of Shadow |

I apologize if I wasn't clear, you only need to subtract 7.86gp each to make up for it.
I'll chip it in and will deduct it now.

Calendir |

Thanks a lot for taking care of the accounting Raven :D
I am refitting Calendir as we speak ;)
New tank coming up sooner rather than later.

Raven, Crafter of Shadow |

Calendir, I still have about 300g, if it'll help you out. Just let me know what you need. I'd rather have some well-equipped melee at this level.

Calendir |

Ok so...
Calendir had about 5gp 5sp and 5cp
He will probably sell:
- Composite Longbow (its not the best anyway)=100gp
- Studded Leather Armor = 12,5gp
- one of his daggers = 2gp
+ the cash from our rewards
= Total of 425,35+5,55+100+12,5+2 = 545,4gp
Buying:
- Breastplate = 200gp
- Masterwork Scimitar = 315gp
- Javelins *5 = 5gp
- Heavy Steel shield = 20 gp
= Total spent of 200+315+5+20 = 540gp
I can drop the scimitar to a non masterwork version and then I will have money for the wand of CLW, am just trying to offset the penalty for Power attack, or I won't be dealing any decent damage.
Let me know if it is ok - I am perfectly cool with going to a normal version weapon. I'm already quite happy with the AC at 21 :D
I have a doubt though, should I go right away for an light shield for the off hand attack? Doesn't seem like the best option since without the two weapon fighting I'll be hard pressed to hit anything with it + I lose its AC while doing it :/

Nadja Cazynsik |

Calendir, Natalya gave you the Masterwork Mithril Short Sword, so that makes it easy. Buy a the Heavy Shield, put spikes on it. Use it offhand until level two, and then main-hand the shield and off hand the sword. Both take -2 to hit and you can bash for more damage and get higher AC.

DM Bound Shade |

@Jotune: Wands are usually a good choice, in my opinion. Enlarge person and infernal healing come to mind. Also, a masterwork weapon, masterwork chain shirt, or other such item couldn't hurt.
To everyone, a friendly reminder to not forget to stock up on consumables. Alchemist's fires, acids, liquid ices, tanglefoot bags, and other such alchemical items, plus potions and scrolls in addition to wands can be major lifesavers. Nothing like having that remove fear scroll handy when your friend gets frightened or panicked.
Note: I'll allow a combination of items up to the listed total (i.e. 150gp for 1 PP, 750 gp for 2 PP), but nothing over.
Also, what Nadja said. Nice bit there.

Raven, Crafter of Shadow |

Just an FYI, I deducted for Calendir's portion of the CLW wand.

Raven, Crafter of Shadow |

Raven will pick up:
2 flasks of acid
2 flasks of alchemist fire
2 holy water
TOTAL: 110gp

Raven, Crafter of Shadow |

Ah, didn't see that. I'll add it back in.

Raven, Crafter of Shadow |

We did return her stuff, except for the mithril short sword which we are currently borrowing.
