What is it with Paizo and throwing DR and Fast Healing creatures in low level scenarios? We need to focus on one creature at a time. Focus on blue as it has taken the most damage.

Lorelei cracks her whip once more, looking to terrorize the creatures!

Take 10 on Intimidate (Demoralize) again for a result of 18 on Blue.

Who has the Apple? In all seriousness. We really need it right now.

I don't think anyone declared possesson of the apple. We may just have to roll a 1d4 to see whose pack it's in.
Undettered, Myantha draws again and fires another arrow at the (blue) monster.

Lorelei: I really don't know. My only guess is that since this is an earlier scenario, maybe it was still during the growing pains of making the scenario more challenging than the really early stuff but they hadn't quite found the balance yet??

Lorelei keeps the intimidation up, while Myantha shifts targets. Her arrow strikes, but doesn't do too much damage.

The world begins to shift colors are changing. It reminds Uthraed of the time when he ate the mushrooms from the woods on his fathers land. Mother thought I was going to die, I wonder how mother is doing, it has been so long since i saw her last. What was I doing? Maybe I should lie down for a moment. Uthraed bends his knees to lie down but then remembers that there was something he was going to do.

"oh yes we are fighting... Something" he says aloud as a blast of fire erupts from the elven archer.

[/i] Wasn't there someone traveling with us earlier who went to the market with me? Wwhat did we buy? Oh yes we were worried about being poisoned. I think i still have it here... [/i]

Uthraed pulls out a vial and opens it.

"I hope this isn't alchemist fire," he erupts in laughter as he drinks down the solution.

it is a vial of antitoxin that I just went back into the first page of the game play thread to make sure i actuality bought. The way the original gm explained it us that i would get 2 fort saves now and the my subsequent saves for the next hour have a +5. Does that sound right?

Can do!

Myantha walks up behind the red monster and levels her bow, releasing an arrow into the back of the creatures head.
Coup de grace damage: 3d8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (5, 5, 8) + 3 + 1 = 22
Just for clarification, coup de grace can be performed on a helpless creature with either a melee weapon or a ranged weapon as long as one is adjacent to the target. It's an auto hit and and automatically confirmed crit. If the victim should survive the damage, it needs to make a fort. save of 10 + damage dealt or die anyways. So red needs to make a fort. save of 32. That said, I think we just won!

Feel free to join in on the majesty. We can all coup de grace the thing and that might be advisable, considering that it still has DR and there's a slim chance that it rolls a natural 20 for the save and survives. It might survive mine, but it has an absolute zero-percent chance of living through two coup de graces.

And if you guys can't get there in time, then no worries! I doubt it'll live through that hit anyways. I just wanted to be sure.

P.S. I realize how lame and rules-lawyerish this post looks, but I want to be honest about the monster's chance of survival for the sake of the game.

|Ruins |WBGoblins|RotRL| Emerald Spire|

Not even going to bother with a save. Even if the creature did roll a nat 20, this turn would see its demise once Muroi chimed in with another spell.

Myantha stands over the spellbound creature like an avenging angel from the gods. Light glitters off of the razor sharp edge of her blade as it is held poised over the creature for but a moment. It is almost as if the gods themselves bless this action, and revel in the destruction of the creature that has spent so many centuries defiling this temple out of pure hatred. The blow descends.. and the creature, suddenly released from its ensorcelled state, releases one last cry before succumbing to inevitability and fate. The temple is once more quiet around the heaving breaths of the remaining combatants. From the jungle, you can hear sudden silence before a cacophony of simian glee erupts from the trees. They approve.

The team heals up and finds a place for the remaining holy symbol among the wreckage. As you retrace your steps into the previous room, the statues have changed positions. There are now two statues centered in the middle of the room and facing you as you walk in. They are holding their arms outstretched as if in supplication, and in their arms are the longbows torn from the hands of the creatures by the monkeys. It is obvious that whatever deity this temple once honored is still alive and well.. and approves of your actions.

Baron Rudyahm is very pleased with the results of this trip, and decides to retire from hunting and adventuring now that he feels his friends have been avenged. Count Matsanda is very thankful to the society and to you for providing this closure for his father in law.

Upon returning to Absalom, Venture Captain Valsin is overjoyed by your success. He takes the manuscript and journal you found, and has it studied. You find out later that the manuscript is one of the only surviving holy texts left from this religion thought long dead, while the journal is a diary of the last leader and his travels.

VERY GOOD!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You hung in there, and despite all odds, we have finished. I will have the chronicles up tonight, but for now, I have to run off to work.

Hey GM, would you be able to check a few boxes on Lorelei's journal card? The following Diplomacy check is to meet the required skill check to recruit the Baron to the Sovereign Court... I'd also like to get the box checked for recruiting him surreptitiously while still on the ship without tipping her hand to the other PCs. I can either e-mail you the PDF, or just host it on my googledrive, let you edit it, and then you can repost it?
