Gamma calls out: "Not dying yet, and, yes Kai: nice work team!"
The android removes a Serum of Healing Mark I, and ingests it.
The bio-parts heal up, and the blood and silicon liquid stop flowing.
Then Gamma sits down to rest a bit too, looking at the dead pile of feathers: "By Triune, that was one angry bird!"

Well then. Let's call my sausage-making friend in the Carnivora! And Ziggy too, I guess.

After a short rest you hear the humming from the shield outside stop. A minute later Zigvigx comes in. "Congratulations on a successful extermination! Now... moving day! The Exo-Guardians will finally have a base of operations again."

If you all don't mind, I'm going to push forward to the Dataphiles mission. While you can complete them in any order, it is a lot easier for me to speed up the Wayfinder's quest. That way you can take as long as you need on the Dataphiles and I'll tailor the pacing of the Wayfinder's quest based on however much time is remaining.

~~A short hike later~~

The Lorespire Complex, home and heart of the Starfinder Society, is a striking campus dedicated to knowledge. Communal labs and historical departments study the Archives’ massive collection of artifacts and texts, gathered by generations of agents from across the galaxy. A quick search of the directory indicates Historia-7 frequents the Archives’ Cortex, a computerized matrix containing digital records of the Starfinder Society’s most prominent discoveries. The android reclines on a raised chair and is plugged into the local infosphere when the doors open. The neural cables detach themselves from her neck as she swivels in her seat to address the new arrivals. “Greetings, Starfinders,” she says calmly. “I am Historia-7. If you are seeking a mission from me, please be aware that my request requires both discretion and speed. Do not accept it if you feel incapable of working within these parameters."

“I discovered someone recently hacked into Bluerise Tower’s computer systems and stole a large amount of sensitive data from the resident corporations. I wish to be privy to this information. I managed to trace the hacker’s location through many proxies and erased the trail so that station and corporate security should be delayed in their pursuit. This deception will not fool them for long, so you must move quickly to retrieve the data before they can recover it. I will leave you to decide what to do with the hacker afterward, but should it be feasible, I believe that person would be an asset to the Society.”

Do we have a description of this person? Domaya asks the faction leader respectfully And how dangerous is this corporate security?

"We have a location, but nothing more. If Corporate Security gets to her first, retrieving the information will be nearly impossible given our current recruitment woes."

She taps a few buttons on a terminal, then turns the screen to show. "This residential area within the Downlow district appears to be the source. Specifically, this building."

"I am uncertain what information was received, but whatever it was, it was well guarded."

The coordinates provided lead to an apartment that resembles a cement cube with several tomato plants in plastic barrels sitting on an otherwise barren porch. The plants are being hand-pollinated by a young man, and the front door is open revealing a cluttered interior.

Not exactly a hive of scum and villainy...

Lucky vaguely tries to present a non-threatening appearance, but she's an android in battle armor with a longarm slung across her back and a customized combat drone following close behind.

So her non-threatening isn't exactly most tomato farmers' non-threatening.

Hi there! We're here to tell you that you're not as subtle as you think. And you're in the wrong business for unsubtle.

"Erm, I beg your pardon?"

Second Seekers (Luwazi Elsebo)

Panges strides up beside Lucky: "We're not the people to be begging, the Corps you endangered are coming for you. Only we can help protect you. So drop the tomato act and spill the beans! Why'd you do it, kid?"

"Look, please I think you've got the wrong-"

From the back room the sound of an elderly woman can be heard. "Deary? Who's at the door? Did you order more nutrients for the plants?"

The man looks back. "No grandma... it's some folk who seem-" he glowers at Pangea to drive the point home "-to be at the wrong house."

The elderly woman shouts back "Is it more teacups? My old set has too many chips in it so I was going to order some more but I forgot if I ordered them or not."

He looks exasperated at both parties. "No grandma, it's not teacups... Look, ma'am... what is it that you are looking for and I'll point you in the right direction if I can, but just please go away. It's hard enough to deal with her on a good day..."

The elderly voice pipes up again and the young man looks halfway to tears. "Oh deary me, are they buying something? Invite them in! I just put a kettle on, I can top it up."

She frowns. "Oh deary me... on deary me... oh deary me. I've done it again haven't I."

She presses a button on the side of a protrusion from a neural implant, then pulls up a small diagnostic panel. She pokes through a few of the menus and pauses on a folder labeled 'Bluerise.'

"Oh deary me... yes I have."

Jubair looks completely shocked. "I- wha- bu- WHAT?"

Ceren calmly says, "Please dear boy sit down and enjoy your tea."

She sighs deeply and continues, "Yes... in my younger days I used to be quite the hacker... hehe... but I retired when I got this degenerative brain disease. Old age never does a body good now does it? I got these Augmentations to control it, but I have large lapses in memory from time to time. I must have slipped back to my old ways..."

Do you think this new identity could involve working with the Starfinders? Domaya asks Our leader is quite impressed with your work.

"Hehe, we'll see about that... Should only take a few hours to set me up with a new identity, but you youngins seem pretty new at this. I'll go take a walk in Jatembe Park. It's a nice open space, lots of people wandering about. I'll keep out of trouble and meet you there in... oh... lets say six hours. That should be enough time for you to get my death certificate, new ID cards, a background with contacts, a job..."

She smiles wistfully. "Just like old times."

She gathers up her purse. "Jubair, be a good lad and keep your head down for a bit. I'll come find you once these young Star-Seekers finish their work."

She grins and waves. "Make it a good one!"

Domaya gets a sense that Ceren is quite honestly excited about this. It's a pretty good chance that this really isn't her first rodeo.

You have 2 jobs that you need to complete: Have Ceren declared legally dead, and create her new identity.

Pangea is able to use their hacking skills to get some basic forged documents together, but to really sell the new identity, Ceren, or 'Tomato Smith' will need a full set of contacts, ex-employers, etc.

To help create this identity, you can do any of the following:
Solidify her Alias with a Bluff, Culture, or Disguise check
Find allies and contacts for her with Diplomacy
Give her a history of employment with a Profession check

If you don't feel confident in your skills on any of these, feel free to aid another. You can make multiple checks, although no more than one of each skill check per PC, and failures do have negative effects on the total.

Domaya is a bit hesitant with lying, or even being misleading. Still for this situation she does the best to make Ceren's new identify more solid.

Making friends and contacts though is something that Domaya is great at. She calls in a bunch of favours with friends she's made as she went through her training. Of course it just so happens that all of Ceren's new friends and co workers are Starfinders or Starfinder affiliated. Which means that Ceren's new identity is going to be working with the Starfinders just as Historia indicated she wanted.

Maybe Domaya can be a bit devious when she needs to be...

Between Pangea and Domaya's work, you've got a plausible identity package. How well it will hold up to scrutiny has yet to be seen.

Yeah, I see it. Just missed it the first time :)

Okay. Cremated it is. Well, Tomato, grandson-of-Tomato. Shall we?

It takes a while to navigate the systems needed to forge the required documents, but it's a fairly straightforward task. Targeting one of the less reputable mortuaries near the crime-ridden slums of the Downlow, you're able to find a unsecured network and get the forged information in, and an official-looking death certificate filed.

The DFV is a little tougher, but using some of the ID numbers picked up from the mortuary hack, you're able to scrounge together a new ID that should past muster on first check. Some extra work may be needed later if she wants to go off-station, but this should keep her safe for now. A few calls around to local allies gets her set up with a history of employment, and a few people willing to say they've worked with her in the past. All in all, you think this will go over reasonably well.

After all of your hard work, you head off to meet with Ceren, now Tomato, at the designated spot in Jatembe park. You find her, walking along a heavily trafficked jogging path that goes through a well maintained set of foliage and crosses an artificial river. Perfect for those longing for some planet-side views.
