So, how was everyone's Labor Day?
Last weekend was very nice. Lots of time with my family. This weekend I'm moving. I spent four hours loading a truck tonight.

Not to worry at all Tsakua. In fact, I love new players (my home game has 7 players and only 2 have played before). There is something awesome about doing what you think you can do and seeing what happens.
Generally, my rule is "if it doesn't result in character death needlessly, it's not a huge deal." That translates roughly to "Do what you want, and I'll punish or reward you based on the situation, but if you might die, I'll give hints first. :)
I will always answer questions if you have them, but once something is posted in the game, that's what's happened (most of the time).

y'know, hemlock having no sense of humor almost makes it more funny. I'm imagining a vein sticking out on his forehead right now, as he wonders whether i'm messing with him, or just dumb. Could be both :)
As he shakes Tsakua's hand and gives him another pastry, Ven's face takes on a odd expression that's half gratitude and half uncertainty. Oh, I imagine he's probably looking over the wagon with wood for tonight's bonfire. Over by the center stage there. Gesturing towards the cathedral. Excellent place to... meet someone. Very dark and private right there in the corner.
Locking eyes with his new... friend? Be careful. Nothing illegal and don't break him. I still want my daughter to speak to me, and be able to sleep at night.
This is from the first page of gameplay. Vinder expressed frustration w/ his daughter seeing this "banny" (Danny? Never got clear spelling) so I offered to encourage him to go elsewhere. Ended up saving the sweet couple from some goblins and told Danny to take Katrine back to her dad. It's really more of a follow up to make sure everything worked out ok. Reason it's not in the profile is because that interaction's in the first 2 pages of gameplay.

I'm alive, I promise. My graduate program had me out in the mountains and away from technology from Friday until yesterday, and between catching up with work and classes I've had virtually zero time to post or even read the thread. I'll be posting this afternoon.
I'll be doing my best to post up to once a day if the thread's progress allows for it, and not to fall quite so far behind again. We'll see how realistic that is once projects and finals come around.
It's an MBA program, but a sort of experimental one. The university is doing some interesting things, though they're on the inconvenient side sometimes.
So, I'm half expecting the next few posts may involve me running as fast as I can to wherever everyone else is.
Well, it's time to move this fight to the tavern, where all fights are supposed to take place.
That's the plan. I've learned my lesson, i'll never go off on my own again!
