The two newly blinded gargoyles stumble forward, roaming and simply attacking the air in front of them, roughly where they last saw Agyen and Tessai. One of the gargoyles attacking Gareth tires of the unlikely prospect, and hops over to tear into tessai as well.

Magnus will hold his action until he can see if Tessai kills gargoyle#7. If she does not, he will Dimension slide and then move to a spot 15' East and 10' South of her and cast a burning hands enhanced by potent magic on gargoyles #7 and #8. If she does, he will move 20' directly East of her and cast the same burning hands on gargoyles #4 and #8
Once again twisting the dimensions with Arcane power, Magnus runs through to a different spot and keeps going until he is in place, then with a quick gesture and incantation, a cone of fire erupts from his outspread fingers.
burning hands with potent magic: 5d4 ⇒ (4, 3, 2, 1, 3) = 13 sadly capped at 5d4
I believe that both those locations are out of a charge lane from gargoyle#5. Hooray, safe at last!
Olaf the Holy
Dimension Slide can take him 40ft. in place of 5ft of movement, right? Problem is, I don't really see any spot he can reach with 40ft. teleport and be able to move to the spot you want without provoking AoO from either 4 or 8. You could move a bit forward before you jumped, but that'd provoke from 5. You could also stop just right of 8, that'd allow you to tag 8 and 6, but leave you in melee with 8.
Belle PBP
Did Tessai manage to KO with her strike? No point in having Magus rewrite his orders without knowing that crucial bit of info.

Dang it, you're right. serves me right for rushing through my plan. OK, I'll move first, eating an AoO from 5. Stopping by 8 would mean hitting Tessai with the burning hands, I believe (possibly others, too) and the aim is to be standing outside of combat with all the gargoyles already engaged (except #5 who would not be able to charge straight in anyway) while supporting Tessai against her next target.
Olaf the Holy
You wouldn't neccesarily hit Tessai. The first 5ft of the cone is just a 5ft. square, the next 10ft. being 10-by-15ft. But you're right that you'd end up in melee, which is of course dangerous. 1AoO from #5 and then the position you described. Got it.
Gareth continues cowering, nimbly dodging attacks left and right.
Tessai brings a foe low, and as does Agyen's magical barrage comes very close. That gargoyle is clearly dead on its feet.
Things largely appear to be looking up. None of our brave heroes has as of yet taken debilitating wounds; so far, so good.
Magnus once again runs from the pursuing gargoyle, earning a swipe of a claw for his troubles.

One of the gargoyles closes in on Reynaud, abandoning its mostly futile attempt to kill Gareth, and runs headfirst into the invisible Belle. Appearing somewhat confused, it claws somewhat hesitantly at the air in front of it, looking for all the world like an overgrown kitten after too much catnip.
The other assailant has no such trouble, and ignores the gnome-bird-thing in favor of flying at the suddenly appearing Magnus. The gargoyle that Magnus successfully left behind wheels and closes in on Reynaud.

I believe Belle took a total of 6 then as the claw attack missed her AC and the bite attack hit? Based on this discussion I don't think I need to do a concentration check. though I did not look further than the first hit on my search so I could still be wrong. But it makes sense to me.
Belle PBP
Belle drops the fire elemental 3 west of her providing a flank for Reynauld. She then moves stealthily one northeast and one east providing flanks on 4 (With Tessai) and 2(with Magnus) if I'm reading this right, and casts Vanish using one pool to increase the caster level by 1 giving her 5 rounds of invisibility.
stealth: 1d20 + 20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 20 + 5 = 36
Not sure if casting a spell makes the stealth roll harder though.
Olaf the Holy
You can look at the corner of the map. It should be accurate up to the last gargoyles turn. Also do you guys believe one knows if they're flanked?
Also, you can't really stealth when casting, it requires speaking loudly and sort of gives your position away. You can stealth after casting though, so casting and then moving with stealth is probably an all-round superior idea. Mechanically, the effect is mostly the same.
Tessai
Thanks for the info Olaf, I hadn't noticed :P
It is an interesting question - I think somehow 'one should know' he/she is flanked, because isn't that what flanking is all about, being harder to defend yourself from opposite threats? Meaning you are trying to defend yourself..? Dunno.
Dang, I feel like flanking 6 to try and pile the damage on it, but that would leave Magnus wide open... So:
And yeah, 25 hits me nonetheless :P
Despite the piling wounds, Tessai keeps on roaring at their foes - "Nothing, and less than nothing you are" - body again glowing amber, the Goddess' blessing mending her wounds - "Avast!"
Swift LoH: 1d6 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 2 = 10

I'm down to 8hp out of 27. One more hit and I'm probably down. I'd like to keep fighting - 3 of them are perfectly placed for burning hands at the moment, but may not be for much longer. If I can't get healed I can take time out for a potion but I'd rather not have to.

I was planning on slipping back and doing a CMW on you Reynauld.
Unfortunately a lot of us are at low hitpoints (except for the cowardly Belle). Magus, since you are invisible and so low on HP I'd just stay out of trouble for now. Maybe set up some flanks. A pity Arcanists have such sucky buff spells. Perhaps consider casting enlarge?

I have potions I can use, I was just hoping to hit them while they are lined up. Maybe they won't be by the time it gets to my turn, but I believe one of them is close to death and a well placed burning hands could finish him off. I could sit back and use enlarge, but does anyone need it, could they make use of 10' reach and a bit of extra melee damage?
Belle PBP
I think your plan is a good one, though risky if you want to make sure the character survives. I guess a lot depends on how many of these things survive until next round. BTW, thanks for adding your hitpoints to your tag line.

If the reach would extend Reynaud's Bodyguard range (since he uses AOOs) that might be REALLY awesome. Plus, bonus strength means bonuses on those Aid Another rolls. You'd kind of have to come into the teeth of the action here though.

The answer to that is yes and no. You can only use Bodyguard on an adjacent ally, so the extra reach wouldn't help you much, but it will make you 10'x10' (4 squares) so you can have more people next to you. And I already have moved into the thick of it, right between Gareth and Agyen. The map just hasn't been updated.

One of the green gargoyles at the center of the fight casts a furtive glance at the rogue, but it's clear that it's got other things to worry about at the moment.
Some people's moves have been shunted around a bit, to account for people who'd already moved. Mainly Magnus. This should be pretty close to what each of you wanted, or at least as close as I can get it.
The tide of the battle appears to be turning; Although two of their number have fallen, your attempt to leverage this into an advantage has ground to a halt. This gives your spellcasters room to regroup and recurperate, at least, so all is not lost. Reynaud is the only one to land any blows at this particular pass.
Tessai is fairly rapidly surrounded, as the gargoyles are deprived of juicier targets.

I need to see how many hp Tessai has and from the tag line she still has 43 so I don't know which yet. Then she will slip out again 2 west of Reynauld. The elemental will do whatever the GM says it will do.

I am used to updating my tag line Belle, but people usually don't pay much attention to that, so I update with a Status & Effects at the end of my posts - I'll start doing that for all my posts so that it is up to date ;) And also tagline is updated ;)

Thanks, Tessai, I would have been surprised if you had you HP posted already as there has not been that much time since Olaf posted the attacks. I just needed to know before I picked the recipient. That confirmed what I thought - worse actually.
CMW on Tessai: 2d8 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (3, 6) + 4 + 4 = 17
"Sorry Reynauld. Tessai just took a huge hit and needs this a bit more."

Nice catch on the potential crit Agyen- I think you are right ;)
Belle, that healing includes Fey Foundling already, right? :D
"Thank you Belle, you are a beacon of light in darkness my friend" - Tessai's words and smile as she feels her companion healing power are unabated by the onslaught of attacks threatening to take her down.
The paladin's swings are equally determined, regardless of how many wounds she is inflicted with - "You are not smart enough to retreat I understand, thus look upon the pile of rubble that your defiling companions have become, and face your own fate" - she continues roaring in the face of their foes.
Again the pale nimbus of light heals the tiefling, even as she swings her sword in measured strikes.
Swift LoH: 1d6 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 2 = 6
Greatsword on 6: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Damage if it hits: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (1, 1) + 10 = 12

Tessai wrote:Belle, that healing includes Fey Foundling already, right? :DYes it does. I love that feat and have it on my Warpriest. Also, do you want to do a 5' step north so you don't get totally surrounded?

Yea, I edited my message since I noticed you already had a flank from Belle on that Gargoyle anyway due to Belle's current location. I think. And I think Magnus can only get a max of three no matter where you are. Heck, it was the thought that counts, right?
