Kargeld regards the swordsman, his words, and then the crazed look of the disturbing female and backs away. "Stay to the back of the boat...."...you hear him mutter under his breath..."...will be better off with the likes of them gone...can't wait to get to the end point..."
One of the crewman,Yurik, the one with impressive spear fighting skills demonstrated during the fight with the kingsmen, strides up to Syldran and in a hushed voice says "Kargeld didnt tell you but your friends went after something in the dark. rumors abound of some strange creature here that steals people in the dead of night. I think they tracked it. Just so you know. I do not think they will be back. No one does in these parts."

Trio:
The robed figure begins talking quickly, then composes himself. "My apologies, like I said it has been a long time since I have spoken to a live body. He does not talk to me much." gesturing to the canine. "What year is it. Nevermind not important. Well this cavern is my prison. I am not from this plane. Our people have fought a constant war against...their name has no enunciation in your languages... just know they are large sentient spiders with arcane mastery. A group of there wizards imprisoned me and transported me here to this plane and environment knowing I detest these elements. This glowing crystal negates my ability to leave. I cannot destroy it since it is protected by my abilities. If you could be so kind as to destroy this crystal I can leave here and return home."

"I appreciate that someone on this boat has some sense. Thank you for the information. Our companions are tougher than you might think, but they very well may have been captured. We'll keep you apprised of the situation."

She waits for him to leave and turns to Razul and Syldran.

"I mislike this. I'd like to go find the fools and be underway, but the second we set foot off this boat Kargeld will leave us to this island and never look back. We seem to be stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place. Any thoughts?"

Delilah apprises Lillith of the plan and then gets Yurik's attention.

"It seems we will be mounting a rescue. Lillith will be remaining here to assure that the boat is still here when we return. As it is, we're a bit light on brawn, and you know your way around watercraft. We'd like you to come along with us as kind of an insurance policy. You could be a great help and I think even Kargeld would balk at leaving such a useful crewman behind. You really could make all the difference."

Not sure that it matters, but I can cast Enhanced Diplomacy as an orison, which gives any creature a +2 to Diplomacy or Intimidate. So in most situations we can use the bonus.

"We should wait for Kargeld to fall asleep then leave quietly. I will take second watch and wake the one called Lillith. She can take over for me as we depart." Yurik tells Delilah.
Lillith moves to the rudder and positions herself.

a stealth role will be required to leave the boat without awaking Kargeld of his more loyal followers.

Trio:
"Ah...payment. I do not have much, but what I do have are a few tokens collected from whomever my 'pet' brings in. They are all in a chest. You can have the chest when I leave since I cannot take those items with me. Agreed?"

Bracnos willfully reaches inside the crystal and pulls out the light held inside. As soon as the light exits the crystal, the crystal shatters, Bracnos takes DMG: 6d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 3, 2, 2, 2) = 13 and must save vs DC 20 Fort and DC 20 WIL.
The robed figure smiles. Tosses Annak the key to the chest. "Was a fair bargain. He might not remain the same. Some of his humanity was needed for sacrifice. Neither of you two could have done it for me. Before I go, I was the only thing keeping the canine from attacking you. Good luck now." He casts a spell and disappears.

Boat:
Yurik wakes Razul, Delilah and Syldran. He tells you all that he has a seal skiff ready to push off. Random Sailor Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3Delilah casts her fog spell and obscures the water around the boat. Lillith stands guard with her Nodachi. Yurik climbs over the edge of the boat and descends.
Yurik Stealth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

Annak rushes up to Bracnos and when the light fades notices he is devoid of his human parentage.

Rescuers:

Bracnos lays unconscious his breath heavy in pain. The glamor that once made him look as nothing more than an old man in armor. Fades reviling his original face as smoke continues to rise from his body. Bracnos skin begins to change small black spots like ink droplets appear on his face and neck. They begin to grow and spread changing all of his visible skin dark and black as ink. From the base of his scalp it appears as blood is soaking into his hair changing all of Bracnos' dreadlocks a crimson shade and his once small tusk begin to elongate and sharpen.

I'm waiting to see what Delilah finds out about the beast before deciding my actions. If it's a normal animal I can cast Charm Animal, and if not I'll approach it to. If it's vulnerable to fire I'll cast Produce Flame to chuck flames at it.

why aren't you tracking the cold or negative energy or bleed damage from me, the sonic damage and daze from Delilah? Razul should also have done some damage? His hit did more damage than mine and mine partially got through, I can't think of anything other than constructs that isn't either harmed or healed by negative energy and almost nothing is immune to sonic, not much has more than 5 resistance to it.. Cold resistance is much more common though

Good catch on the attacks. Thanks for the reminder. I forgot about those waiting for Syldran to post not knowing he was out for a bit. Trying to finish up many games before i deploy again and i rushed.
