With a twirl of his cloak, Syldran darts past the elemental, slithering near the ground until he reaches the other side, flanking the water being with Bracnos. One last time, he strikes with his snake at the elemental. Then, with a sound like unraveling rope, the snake retracts into his sleeve until no trace of it remains.

Don't we have a hold full of weapons? I'm sure there's a bow in there. If nothing else, slings are free and they add your Str mod to damage. A +4 ranged attack plus +1 from higher ground bonus means you're probably hitting on a 10-15. /shrug

Kargeld has his men concentrate their arrows on the leader triton. Due to Annaks hex and Delilah's scream the Triton is easy pickings for the sailors and other ranged users. I posted his failed save and the sight did not keep it apparently. He failed the scream save, he is hexed. He is easy pickings and the sailors made quick work of him.
The other tritons see their leader fall and flee under the water.
Kargeld strides over to the party and thanks them for helping his men defeat the triton foe.
"Maybe a day or two of more sailing and then we make landfall. Rest up, more dangers ahead." he laughs menacingly as he walks away.

The party can heal up if need be.

At night bracnos takes wade to the side a way from the crew "my boy give me a hand will you I'm afraid I must as for assistance to relieve myself after that battle with the moving water I seem to have injured my back there's a good lad *cough*"

Seal Hunting:

For every day spent hunting near Seal Isle, the hunting party makes a Survival skill check. One character must lead the hunt and that individual makes the roll (rolls last after rolled aids are calculated). Every other person in the group may attempt to aid the lead hunter (a DC 10 Survival check to give the leader a +2 bonus). If an aid roll fails, that individual only gets in the way imparting a -2 penalty. Perhaps their clumsy efforts spook the seals. To catch a seal the leader hunter must beat a DC 15. That catches one seal. For every three better than that, the hunting party catches one additional seal in a day. Each seal has a luxurious fur pelt worth 50 gp. A hunt takes the whole day.

Kargeld has his men make ready to anchor near a calm bay near Seal Isle and is planning on sending out one party.

Hunters:
Wade takes the lead in seal hunting and leads the skiff out to a location near Kargeld's full skiff but not too close. As the three Knot members set up their seal ambush, Annak and Wade work efficiently while Bracnos, still in his guise as an elderly man sets his trap up in the wrong location. Kargeld and his men manage to catch...Kargeld: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15 while the trio manage to catch one seal as Bracnos almost fell into the ice water when a pair of seal approached...you did roll a nat 1. Kargeld approached Wade and says "We plan to stay the night out here and try again tomorrow. Are you sure the old man take take the environment? You should have left him and brought the younger pretty swordsman. He would have been better out here. I think the old man scared off our seals as well. We have some supplies if you need them." and walks off laughing.

Boat People:
One of the sailors left on the vessel points out to a group of small boats hugging the coast headed towards the smugglers ship. As they get closer this group is three one-man kayaks and a larger open seal-skin canoe called an umiak with four men rowing. An older sailor identifies them as Yatuk tribesmen. These vessels are closing towards the boat and hail it loudly in a broken common tongue.

"Ah, apparently traders. Perhaps staying was beneficial after all."Razul seeks out Delilah as she has exhibited a far more silver tongue than he has. Pointing out the approaching tribesmen, "Perhaps you could bargain with them for whatever they might have to trade."

Delilah walks over to the railing and looks out at the assembled canoes. If the hailing seems to be friendly, she'll return the hail and wave the boats closer.

The Yatuk appear friendly and seem to be led by the youngest one in their party. As they approach the vessel the Yatuk hold up some wares for inspection as if they desire to trade with the vessel.

"You do realize that there's seven of them? We aren't exactly the hardiest members of our entourage and I sure as hell don't trust Kargeld's men to do a good job of anything. No, I say we run this deal as close to fair as we can stomach. Besides, primitive cultures tend to be big on blood debts and we have enough shit like that hanging over our heads as is."

She turns back to the men in the boats.

"I'm afraid all we have to trade currently are military supplies. Axes, spears, swords, and the like. I'm sure we can make some sort of arrangement."

Delilah bats her eyes and smiles suggestively at the leader.

Boat:
The one calling himself White Tusk seems to understand and pulls out a small steel dagger or typical Talingarde styling. He motions with his hand to the dagger and then making his arms bigger in width and points to each member of his group.
One of Kargelds men, the one called Hroth, comes up behind the three of you and says,"Dirty Yatuk primitives. Best just kill them or send them on their way. Kargeld won't stomach them on the vessel."

"It seems we just have to come up with seven knives. That is a small price to pay for that tusk."
To Hroth, "If I care to hear your opinion, I will let you know. Until then mind your business and stay out of ours."

Turning to Delilah, he makes a slight motion and a dagger appears in each of his hands.

"Here are two, lets try to come up with the rest."

Delilah sighs.

"If the rest of you are hell-bent on spilling their blood, I guess that's our choice. We'll want to get them on the ship though. Too much commotion on those canoes and our prize slips to the bottom of the sea. I still say it would be easiest to just trade with them properly. Grateful people are easier to manipulate than dead ones."

Delilah leaves momentarily to fish out a spear from the hold and returns to the edge of the ship displaying it to the leader and motioning for him and his crew to come aboard. She then sets about collecting 40 each of the axes, spears, and swords from the hold and arranging them to look like a proper trade on the deck.
