Wareagle, are you still continuing this campaign? I have to say, it's been pretty tough to be waiting on the adventure to move forward, and watch you trying to set up at least two other campaigns after you started this one. It kind of feels like you aren't interested in telling this story. If you are, I sincerely apologize, as this is not intended to be rude, just pointing out we have come grinding to a halt more than once now.
Lomar Sildrake |
Lomar here ready to show you peasants a thing or two about how things should Properly be done! Why, if I had been put in charge of this operation from the begining, as should have been done, half of Phlan would have been cleared by now! But, no matter, I am here now, and things...well, you just wait and see. ; )
Hmmm, maybe I should save that for his IC intro...naw, a wee bit too much methinks. But Lomar will be not the easiest person to like or get along with, at least for a while. He's really not a bad guy under his arrogant facade, but he has no intentions of showing anybody else that, at all.
Wareagle (and anyone who's interested) could you please give Lomar a once over and let me know if there's anything I need to change to adapt him to this campaign? I will also be tweaking the backstory a little bit, but most of it should stand as is.
Thanks so much again for letting me join. Excited to delve back into Phlan after all these years!! ^-^

I think I'll go with the gentleman adventurer looking for work angle, at some point either Porphyrys could introduce him to the party or or he could introduce himself some place they are all gathered together.
I've tried not to read any of the IC (it's been hard!) as Lomar wouldn't have known anything that's happened with them yet except what they tell him (or perhaps what he's picked up through rumour?) so just wanted to check- everyone is still first level, yes? And how many times now have they been into Old Phlan?
@Muddy: Thanks! : ]
Lomar Sildrake |
Hey, still here, but I am without laptop or smartphone atm, both having crashed within a day of each other, so net time is limited for the moment but I'll be back and posting asap. So I guess Lomar's intro can still be delayed a little bit
Still can't wait to join in though!

just some questions about how you were running the game. what dice rolling system were you using? i read in combat that u were using some kind of grid system. what site or how were u doing that all together. i am new to pbp but i have ran this campaign before using 3.5, but pathfinder is almost identical. currently running it with a few family members and friends but from the creature side of things. who was mapping for the party? approx how many and what types of creatures have you fought and defeated so far in sokol keep? I do have a job and a family but i could possibly post 3 to 4 times daily. havent made a decision yet, i wanted to join :(. wareagle where are you? lol

Wareagle used google docs to make maps for sokol keep (and the interior building) so far. Example Here.
Its pathfinder standard stuff. We've fought a couple of skeletons/zombie things, and some ooze slime monsters inside the inner keep. Retired to the city to heal up and refit.

Tarloc, if you decide to play as a GM just wanted to let you know I'm still here and if there are some question relevant to the paizo-post system/pathfinder/pbp I'll try to answer to the best of my ability, aside from that I really hope this game continues, it had a very good potential.
Lomar Sildrake |
Hey Tarloc, just a little note for youe mat, Paizo has changed and improved many things from 3.5, mostly all the things that were broken and/or just not working well. One of them is that there are no longer Spot, Listen and Search skills. All of them, along with smell and touch, are now rolled into one, Perception.
One of the best online resources I find for all things Pathfinder is the SRD site.
Also, I would recommend that you create a new avatar for your new role as DM. I myself am not aware how you might get DM privileges to this thread, but perhaps someone else here is? Otherwise, you could always just start a new one.
