A thread for discussion of the perils portended. And other things, I suppose.
Please post:

Day Job: (go ahead and roll)

Howdy all,
Before I check in with a character, I have a 3rd level bard and a 4th level cleric available for this game... I'd select the 3rd and play down if we're subtier 1-2, and the 4th if we're subtier 4-5.
Male Elf Wizard (Conjuror) 7 / Loremaster 1 (HP 42/42) (AC 17/13/14) (CMD 14) (Fort +6, Ref +8, Will +9) (Init +9) (Perception +23)
Well, I was planning on bringing a level 4 Wizard...
Day Job - Craft(Alchemy): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30.
Male Human Ranger 4 - Init +5 - AC 20|13|17 - hp 39/40 - Fort +6 (+5 vs. cold weather), Ref +7, Will +2, +2 vs. charm and compulsion - Speed 20 ft. - Perception +7
Player Name: SirPeter
Character Name: Peter Krauss (Ranger 4)
PFS Number: 113139-2
Faction: Dark Archive
Day Job: Profession (farmer): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Initiative Mod: +5
Perception Mod: +7
Max HP 35 | AC 16 (T12/FF14) | F: +5 R: +7 W: +5* | Perc +7 | Init +2
Overlooked a pair of chronicles, they were 4th and 5th!
Player Name: wakedown
Character Name: Renn (Bard 4)
PFS Number: 15208-23
Faction: Sov Court
Day Job: Sing: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
Initiative: +2
Perception: +7
My character I was going to bring is still tied up in another campaign, and my other core character is being played in another scenario. So if you want, I can create a brand new level one or I can bring a level 4 pregen. Or, I could just drop from this scenario.
I'm bringing a fresh level one. It should be ready by the end of the day.
Male Human Ranger 4 - Init +5 - AC 20|13|17 - hp 39/40 - Fort +6 (+5 vs. cold weather), Ref +7, Will +2, +2 vs. charm and compulsion - Speed 20 ft. - Perception +7
We have three level 4 PC´s, maybe it's better (safe?) to play with a level 4 pregen, IMO.
I would rather get out of tier gold. But if you all want, I could bring something the party does not have.

Hi all!
We've got three 4th level characters and three 1st level characters, which puts us at APL 2.5. That leaves you with the choice of playing down (Subtier 1-2) or up (Subtier 4-5, with a 4 player adjustment). Cast your votes please!
Also FYI, I'm traveling over the next three days. I expect to have internet access at some points, so I should be able to keep up regular posting. In the event I don't, that'd be the reason why.
Bard-9: HP 62/62; GM reroll @+4 1/1;music available 22/22; Spells avail:L1 6/(5+1)L2 4/4;L3 3/; +1 d20 bonus 1/1; Enduring Scholar (+6) 1/1; Faction pin 1/1; Archivist (+4) 1/1; Wand CLW 30/50; Loremaster 1/1; (free-scr) knock 1/1; CSW 1/1; CMW 1/1; (Heroism active, +2 to saves and atk)AC 20 (FF:19); Fort +7; Ref +8; Will +5 (extra +4 vs sonic & language)(extra +1 when surprised/flat footed (included in FF))(extra +1 vs evil outsiders); resist cold/4; ; Init +1; Perception -2;(+1 cmd vs grapple)
I'm happy to play up, higher risk - especially for us low level types. Better gold for everyone. Only have GM credit on evergreens against Khellek at the moment, so no big loss for me if he were to die. (not that I want him to die!)
If others would prefer to play down then I fully understand and am happy to go with that too.
Male Human Ranger 4 - Init +5 - AC 20|13|17 - hp 39/40 - Fort +6 (+5 vs. cold weather), Ref +7, Will +2, +2 vs. charm and compulsion - Speed 20 ft. - Perception +7
Subtier 4-5 with 4 players adj.
Male Human (Varisian) Sorcerer (Elemental)/1 (HP: 7/7) | Init: +3 | AC: 13 T: 13, FF: 10 | Perception +0 | F: +1, R: +3, W: +2 | CMB: -1 | CMD: 12 | 3* reroll 0/1
I'm fine with playing up.

That's three votes for up and none opposed, so that's what we'll do.
Bard-9: HP 62/62; GM reroll @+4 1/1;music available 22/22; Spells avail:L1 6/(5+1)L2 4/4;L3 3/; +1 d20 bonus 1/1; Enduring Scholar (+6) 1/1; Faction pin 1/1; Archivist (+4) 1/1; Wand CLW 30/50; Loremaster 1/1; (free-scr) knock 1/1; CSW 1/1; CMW 1/1; (Heroism active, +2 to saves and atk)AC 20 (FF:19); Fort +7; Ref +8; Will +5 (extra +4 vs sonic & language)(extra +1 when surprised/flat footed (included in FF))(extra +1 vs evil outsiders); resist cold/4; ; Init +1; Perception -2;(+1 cmd vs grapple)
Khellek is off studying the history and geography of the Ruapehu region for the next week.
That is, I'm off on holiday, feel free to NPC Khelleck

Sorry folks, informal/non-combat initiative is not something PbP handles especially well. Hopefully what's happening is somewhat sensible.
Bard-9: HP 62/62; GM reroll @+4 1/1;music available 22/22; Spells avail:L1 6/(5+1)L2 4/4;L3 3/; +1 d20 bonus 1/1; Enduring Scholar (+6) 1/1; Faction pin 1/1; Archivist (+4) 1/1; Wand CLW 30/50; Loremaster 1/1; (free-scr) knock 1/1; CSW 1/1; CMW 1/1; (Heroism active, +2 to saves and atk)AC 20 (FF:19); Fort +7; Ref +8; Will +5 (extra +4 vs sonic & language)(extra +1 when surprised/flat footed (included in FF))(extra +1 vs evil outsiders); resist cold/4; ; Init +1; Perception -2;(+1 cmd vs grapple)
And hopefully Khelleks correct, but incorrect, assumptions are not taking advantage of the spoiler-ed nature of information.

Boon Rolls!
Random Boon on 20 or 16 (no rerolls)
GM: 1d20 ⇒ 1
Horlan: 1d20 ⇒ 1
Khellek: 1d20 ⇒ 2
Peter: 1d20 ⇒ 13
Renn: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Varian: 1d20 ⇒ 6
Zordlon: 1d20 ⇒ 8
No boons, sorry. :/
Oddly enough this is the second time in a row I've rolled a 1 for myself, which would have been a boon in most of the previous Gamedays. Oh well!
Thanks for playing everyone!
Bard-9: HP 62/62; GM reroll @+4 1/1;music available 22/22; Spells avail:L1 6/(5+1)L2 4/4;L3 3/; +1 d20 bonus 1/1; Enduring Scholar (+6) 1/1; Faction pin 1/1; Archivist (+4) 1/1; Wand CLW 30/50; Loremaster 1/1; (free-scr) knock 1/1; CSW 1/1; CMW 1/1; (Heroism active, +2 to saves and atk)AC 20 (FF:19); Fort +7; Ref +8; Will +5 (extra +4 vs sonic & language)(extra +1 when surprised/flat footed (included in FF))(extra +1 vs evil outsiders); resist cold/4; ; Init +1; Perception -2;(+1 cmd vs grapple)
Thanks very much for the game, I liked the less combat intensive nature of this one.
Male Elf Wizard (Conjuror) 7 / Loremaster 1 (HP 42/42) (AC 17/13/14) (CMD 14) (Fort +6, Ref +8, Will +9) (Init +9) (Perception +23)
It looks good - thanks for running the game!
Max HP 35 | AC 16 (T12/FF14) | F: +5 R: +7 W: +5* | Perc +7 | Init +2
I agree. Good scenario and thanks for running!
