Question for you guys, how do you go in and change a PFS character alias's avatar. I was trying to do it the other day and it was giving me fits. Still haven't figured it out.

Fair warning now, I currently have 2 chronicles on my character that are not showing up properly on my theurge. One is a table I GMed for the local VC who failed to report the table, one is a recent Con Special that still has never shown up on my character. I have physical sheets, with dates. I have the sheet together for the one that I ran and can give the event code and date. The other one I have the signature and codes from the Convention organizer. If need be, I can probably get them scanned or efaxed somehow so that I can show you digital copies of the sheets not on my character records.

Let me know how you wish to deal with it.


I would just like a list of what sheets you have and any boons you will be using. If I smell something fishy I'll dig around a bit but mostly I trust players to be honest about stuff for Pbp, too much work and not everyone can send copies of stuff easily.

I'll make sure to have the list posted out for you. When you say you want boons posted, are you talking ones that are not on chronicle sheets, like say taxfest boons or GM boons, or do you want all boons on chronicles listed out as well?


Any boons that alter your character stats. So when I check your numbers on your character sheets everything adds up.

I need to make a list of the boons that affect the various skill checks, but that is a longer project & most of them are situational anyway, so I have not figured them into his stats.

Updated character sheet with full stat block, items carried, and tried to make the essential stats more available.

Headband of Intellect has 2 skills selected: Perception and Sense Motive.

Spell selection is based on last game. If you do not mind, will we have a chance to prep spells after we get the in game starting blurb, or no? Should I go ahead and prepare spells now, or is it possible to do so after?

Wanted to go ahead and ask everyone what their roles were, so that I can start to plan out spells and needed small items here and there.

Zhal is a squishy caster type by nature. He is an evoker wizard and cleric of Nethys, most of his offensive capability comes from damage spells/staff of fire/some CC. He does have access to clerical buffs, some healing, healing wands and what not. Right now I am trying to make sure we have as many of our bases covered and what not, so I need to figure out what buffs do you guys have sorted out, and what do I need to cover.

Faldoc is a ranged ranger, simply put. I am an urban ranger with a boon companion (a dog).

Galdur is a dwarf first & a jeweler second. Then he is PFS and summoner the least of his priorities. (He is not optimized by any stretch.) Galdur plays a second line caster. Usually I spend combat with critters, but I did build the eidolon to share a couple teamwork feats and can play second line melee. His spell selection is limited (especially compared to a theurge :), but create pit and coordinated maneuvers is a favored tactic. As for buffs, enlarge person, mage armor, protection from evil (after that nasty incubus cut the heart out of his chest), & barkskin are his most common.

Something like haste if you have it is the first thing that comes to mind. Protection from Evil, things like that.

Standard loadout I try to keep a magic circle/evil on hand, and I will see about swapping out for a haste or two. I keep an extend rod handy, so haste will last like 18 rounds if I need it to.

I guess at this point, who is going to be, or should I say do we have a primary melee?

I managed to work in a game last night and was able to upgrade my armor. I would also like to buy two scrolls of magic fang, one greater magic fang, and two potions of bless weapon.

If we find out something particular to expect, I will probably prep an appropriate scroll or potion for that as well.

I'm not 100% sure where all of them are from but, most should be from season 4 adventures. If you have the sheet with them like Zhal does its a free chance to play with some neat toys.

Yeah, I GMed that one for my local VC, and I saw it, and just never have had the money to buy it yet. May have to buy it after this one, just to have it. The Acrimony veil is a head slot mask that is a lesser empower rod 3/day and also casts rage once a day. For this character that is amazing. Just in case i have to toss it to galadur or juliet.

My CLW wand is down to 5 chargers. I have 19 PP, which is not enough for body recovery and raise dead. I think I shall spend 2 PP on a new one. You shouldn't have to spend your resources on me (or rather, not yet :) I do wonder if you have stoneshape on your list though?

After checking, I do not have it on my wizard list. It is a 3rd level cleric spell though, so i can set it up on my cleric tree. As a 4th level wiz spell, i could use 2 pp to get a scroll, cause 4th level single use is 750gp exactly.

That would probably not be a bad idea to have. Normally i have been carrying force bubble on my 4th level spells, but since i'm evocation school, I could certainly swap out one spell for it.

Are there any other spells that you can think of that would be worthwhile to have available?

Over a lengthy discussion and a mead in the Pathfinder lodge: Your selection looked good to me. I do often cast create pit & I have glitterdust, but fewer enemies are likely affected by mine than by your casting yours carry a tougher save. I am not sure what spells Juliet has, but if there is duplication in the spontaneous casters you might want to use the slot elsewhere. I don't think stoneshape is worth a scroll though. It is just something we dwarves carry a fond remembrance for thanks to the Quest for Sky legends.

I hope that is not too much metagaming :)

I think we should be ready. A couple of last minute updates as far as gear goes that I know I would like to do. I am going to purchase a scroll with 6 castings of Invisibility for 2 PP. I am also going to sell my lesser elemental cold metamagic rod for 1500 gp, and use 1125gp to purchase a telepathic bond scroll.

Right before we make the trip, I am going to cast telepathic bond first on each of the 4 party members, which will cover all but the summoner's eidolon. Duration will be 90 minutes, and will function over any distance once established. Secondly will be that just before we pop our teleports in, I will use the scroll to cast invisibility on each member of the group. Duration on those will be 3 minutes in length, the aim is to let us get a sense of our surroundings without giving warning to any enemies first.

When I get home this evening I will get my hero lab up and running, and make sure to make those last minute gear changes, as well as to make sure that I finalize my spell selection for prepared spells before we go in.

Just so everyone knows, Zhal is wearing a set of Deathwatch eyes. If you could do me a favor, and when you reach certain points, such as below 50, fighting off death, unconscious, dying, dead; please just give me a heads up. I am going to be using those to determine how and where I heal, and as such accurate info will be majorly helpful.
