Idris grinned as he saw Axe fell his opponents. For himself, he concentrated on the bone golem's torso, his battle hardened fists pounding into the hard bone, cracking and chipping it with every blow.

Fish swings his club again. "STUPID METAL MAN!" He shouts as he is clearly unhappy the knight still stands.

Ama twirls on the battlefield, euphoric that Bookie is dead. In the meanwhile Nagbur is more serious and attack the flying creature. He sucks the health from it and sends it to Ama, the healing still does nothing. Idris keeps pounding the bone golem, hurting it more and more. Finally Fish keeps battering the armored knight, hitting it again.

Almalik chants loudly and his earth elemental soars into the air,a ccompanied by the rumbling as it swats at the flying goat thing. His flaming sphere attacks the bone golem once more.

Damage, Reflex DC 17 for half: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 1) = 7

The fake elemental strikes the flying goat, for a moment it looks like it could drop out of the sky but it remains in the air. Almalik follows through with his fire ball, burning the golem slightly.

The bone golem keeps attacking Ama, trying to pound her with large bony fists. Ama steps aside each time a fist comes down.

The blue knight laughes two fists at Fish. Both connect, one in the stomach, the other in the ribs.

Lastly the flying goat launches an attack at Nagbur. The beak of the creature closes around his shoulder, doing damage and immediately festers the wound. Fort save pls One of the claws also digs into Nagbur's flesh, leaving behind a nasty gash.

Idris pounded on the golem, trying to bust it apart so that they could take care of the goat creature once and for all.

"Ama, go help Nagbur! Axe and I can finish this one off!"

We are in round 10, but seeing how far you are currently it doesn't really matter how the rounds progress. And I've got the feeling that this isn't the first time I didn't change the number.
The bone golem still lives, too tired at the moment to update. Have some health troubles lately so not feeling too well. In the morning I will correct and update!

Seeing Nagbur get hurt, Axe gets angry. "AAAAAAXE!"

He then flies over, ignoring Idris' comment and tries to smash goat thing with his axe!

Relieve Stinky of pressure ASAP or bad things will happen! Plus Axe likes Stinky.

Axe is flying 5' over the ground, and will avoid fires as necessary

Almalik smacks his sphere into the bone golem once more as his earth elemental continues to fly around, swatting at the goat thing in an attempt to draw its ire.

Fort Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 Well that sucks but I'm happy to burn the six before attacking!

Nagbur yelps in pain and twists free then, grabbing his shoulder and glaring, immediately leaps at the hovering goat again.

"Me got this! Me got this!" he cries out in response to Idris as he lunges, not wanting to draw anyone away from their own very important fights.

Soulthief's Touch: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 5 + 1 = 18 Touch Attack
Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 4) + 6 = 15

This time Stinky will try to route the health sucked from the goat to himself. And again, Bleed 3 unless the goat makes a DC 17 Fort Save.

And, if you imagine all these HPs actually working to heal our crew like they're supposed to, you can begin to see the potential of a Vitalist, beginning around this level. Up to 18 HP of damage ignoring armor plus potentially 3 HP of bleed damage per round and 18 HP of free healing for anyone who needs it, all in one Standard Action? Yes please! :o)

But man, I gotta use those power points sucked from Bookie soon or they'll go bye-bye!

Idris lands three punches on the bone golem. It still lives but looks pretty damaged. Almalik scorches more bones on his turn.

Aaaxe flies forward and chops at the flying goat. Nagbur also sucks health from the creature and tries to use the health on himself but fails. The creature drops from the sky, landing on arms and legs ready to jump out at Nagbur again. Everyone on the field suddenly feels a mental force push at him. A second later a grating voice sounds in everyone's head.
"The lord will take care of you..."

Fish grunts as the knight lands a couple of punches. "That all bucket head," Fish says as he swings his club again.

Ama raises her cold wood nodachi again and takes another swing at the bone golem. "Begooone!"

The real leader is the master of death, the one facing the fey king. The leader leading the party against you... Was actually bookie ;P He didn't use his telepathy though.

Fish swings but his club bounces off the armor. Ama, aided with her mote, knocks out more bones from the bone golem. It seems to be getting a bit wobbly by now.

The bone golem tries to slam Ama again, twice. The first fist hits her square in the chest, knocking her breath out. The second misses as she is thrown back a bit by the first blow. She barely remains standing on her feet from the blow.

The flying goat keeps pestering Nagbur, clawing and pecking at him. Feeling already weakened by the festering wound one of the claw attacks hits even harder. The other attacks miss the little Nagbur.
Another fort save pls, still for the first hit on you.

The knight keeps up his attacks on fish. One of the fists hits him on the collarbone, the attack would normally break it but Nagbur's last bit of extra health saves Fish.

Nagbur grunts and staggers back, away from the goat-thing. Taking a quick mental survey, he's shocked to discover how badly Ama is hurting. Unable to risk taking the time for another attack, he instead attends to the most critically wounded... one of whom is himself.

Invoking Vigor with 4PP augment plus 1PP for Spirit of Many to share with Ama. Ama and Stinky now have 25 Temporary HP for 6 minutes.

Ama cringes when she's hit again, but refuses to back down while her enemy's about to go down. The moment she receives some temporary health from Nagbur, she takes another swing at the bone golem.

Almalik's sphere hammers into the bone golem once more. Giving up on his earth elemental, he dismisses it. Instead, he raises his hands dramatically, and a stone sphere rises up, surrounding Nagbur, protecting him from the flying creature.

[ooc]Creating a kind of stone shell around Nagbur with my illusion, hoping that does something.

Idris and Almalik turn the golem into a pile of bones. Axe keeps hammering away at the flying ugly goat, damaging it greatly but not killing it.

COMBAT OVER

Well not really but it's now only dragging on till you finish them off.

You make short work of the last two enemies and see that the whole battle seems to die down. The enemy troops seem to be retreating into the giant portal, including the master of death. The fey king looks really tired and is retreating into the forest.

Almalik collapses face-first, completely devoid of spells and energy. The arrogant arcanist simply stares down into the mud, regretting every life choice he's made that's brought him to this point in his life.

He mumbles.

"Can we go home now?"

I have to admit, I was worried for a bit there; glad the Bone Golem attack rolls went poor for a bit!

Axe flies back to the party, giving them all a big hug. "Axe! Aaaxe!"

Fish plops down in the mud as he tries to catch his breath. "That nasty fight." He says before labored breathes. "Nagbur ok?" he asks as he looks around for his friend.

Ama walks up to Nagbur and snaps her fingers in front of his face. "Yo, Naggy! Heal me, I'm sort of about to die here."

"About to die" my butt, with the THP you're at 26. Give it up, woman! :op

"You telling Nagbur like Nagbur not know?" he replies, hands on his knees and panting. "Healing no be working before, you no hear me say so?"

He straightens up cautiously, as if he's afraid he'll pull a muscle, and looks over the battlefield. "Maybe is working now, baddies be dead and gone, we see."

Let's give this a shot. Burning the remaining 6 TPP for 18HP of healing to himself, which he'll direct to Ama. Does that work?

Hurray! It works again!

Ama finally feels the health seep into her, her bones and wounds slowly mending. As everyone sits down to get some hard needed rest Green comes towards you with some leprechauns in his wake. They look ragged with their wounds and torn clothes.
"We made it... Couldn't have lasted any longer or we be dead..."

"Fish maybe go little longer. Still bad fight." Fish says between breaths. "King guy ok?"

Green nods to Fish.
"Guess so, still alive he is."

"So King guy good." Fish says as he looks at Green. "We go home now?"

@Nagbur: How rude!

Ama rolls her eyes when Nagbur heals her and comments with a sassy voice "Finally!"

"I hope we're not going home yet. That king guy ought to pay us after having Green drag our butts over here so we could fight in his war."

Ama: :op Pftpftpftpft!

Sorry, long day today and early wakeup call tomorrow, so no time to work through the heals right now. DM, Stinky has plenty of CLW wand charges, so please just assume he tops everyone off, and I'll work through the numbers later. Thanks!

And just out of curiosity, was it the goat inhibiting the healing? That was the conclusion Stinky came to...

Green looks doubtful.
"We could be going to tha king. Not sure he be in the mood for talking."

It was indeed the goat thing. It radiated a 120 feet radius block on healing, hence the size of the map. At first only Axe was within range but you kept trying to only heal him ;P

"Axe!"

Almalik picks himself up from the ground, brushing off the mud and trying his best to recover his dignity.

"Yes, let's to the King. I want out of this urine-soaked hellhole."

Fish sniffs at the air. "Fish no smell urine."

Green snorts at Fish's comment and leads the way to the leader. The large man slumps in his chair, looking really tired. He eyes you, making you feel small and not so sure this is the best idea.

Almalik glances to the other fey, following suit with whatever kind of obeisance they need to make towards the King. Failing that, he just bows.

"Great King; we have slain foes of you and your kingdom and saved what may be countless lives. This was at great personal cost and no small amount of risk. We bravely stepped into a war that was not ours and we had no stake in. Although we are happy to have helped, we are also not a charity organization. From what I know of the fey, very little is given freely without a cost of some sort. As such, we ask for reasonable payment for our services."

Diplomacy Almalik: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17

The king looks at all the cold wood weapons and Ama's new gotten clothes then his gaze turns back on Almalik.
"You robbed my stores and dare ask for payment?"

Ama sizes the king up and decides to change her mind. She snorts and gives Almalik a dirty look. "Yeah, so rude."

Almalik looks in astonishment at the king before throwing his staff on the ground.

"We used these items to defeat your enemies! You could have asked for them back or done... bah! To hell with you and your miserable people. I'm done here."

Almalik turns to storm off, hoping the group follows him.

A mere moment before Almalik is out of earshot the king speaks up.
"You will not be paid. We do however owe you a favor, to be determined later."

Not feeling too well at the moment, will do the homecoming a bit later.

Nagbur stays silent through the exchange, having learned his lesson back when he risked not getting his healing tattoo. Besides, Green was his annoyance; he had no beef with the king.

Fish throws his club in with Amalik. "Fish like metal sword better," he grumbles as he follows Amalik.

I wonder if this would catch on fire if I tried to get it sharpened?, Axe accidentally thinks to the others as he follows them, waving to the strange little green man first.

@GM: Any other loots from the baddies? I understand that the swords are a lot less valuable now if they were magical :P
