background:

Some people fight because they have to. Others fight because they're mean bastards. And a few, a rare few, fight because they were born to. That's me. My name is Idris Priktanis, but most people call me Idris Elbow on account of that's how most fights with me end - with an elbow to the face. I've been all over this world, training, fighting, and training some more.

I started out as a military brat, moving from camp to cap with me da. He was part-djinn, like me. He hated fighting, but he was good at it. And I got good at it too, once I finally convinced him to teach me. Then, once when we were out east I fell in love with their martial arts. Open-hand fighting was way more my style. Get in close, disarm someone, then beat the crap out of them. It's like heaven in a bowl.

Now, I just wander the world, fighting for sport, money, fun. I don't worry too much about the reasons behind it, I just do it. Still, it would be nice to have something to get behind, ya know? A reason for the beating, so to speak.
