does that surprise attack count as a surprise round? it is important
Female Ratfolk ???
Mutagen brings my modifier to +7. So 18 total. I'll adjust my stat block for it for ease.

Also, yet, it was a surprise round. Guess I got a bit caught up in the theatrics to remember.

good, very good. since there was a surprise round Ammon gets to fully act on his turn instead of the usual 1 action
Female Ratfolk ???
Imma wait for the bugbear to go, and possibly Kavak to get his turn finally as well. But either way, my turn will be about the same. Anyone want to guess what I'll spend this fight doing? Hint: I have 5 left.
For some reason Ammon was a Paladin in my mind and things were getting really weird. XD

I thought a coywolf was just a regular wolf, but they hold out on details.
Edit: Also, I forgot to add the Rage to my numbers.

Coyote-wolf hybrid, right? Saw a bit of a documentary on them last Saturday. Wish I had one...
Also known as woyotes, which is great considering her name.
65% coyote, 25% wolf, 10% dog.

Like Napoleon Dynamites favorite animal, the liger? Or the less majestic mule?
Green Smashomancer wrote: Like Napoleon Dynamites favorite animal, the liger? Or the less majestic mule? More like ligers than mules, since woyotes can make more woyotes, while (almost all) mules can't make more mules. Canine species distinctions are less clear-cut than a lot of others.

I'm back from an extended trip, so not only am I in a closer time zone now, but for the first time in two months, I have access to all my pathfinder books, inclusing my precious bestiaries, which I have been refamiliarizing myself with at length and concocting scenarios. Be afraid, be very afraid.

We are screwed....
on a side note my home group doesnt allow me to look at our group bestiaries on my non gming off time, apparently i get ideas entirely to easy
?
That's unfair to you. The bestiaries are the funnest to read books Pathfinder ever published.
Imagine all the ideas I could get once the 5th comes out... Oh so soon, but so far away.

Heck, I'm even excited for that little Lotus Leshy. Just the name brings up story ideas. Not to mention the new playable races and outsiders.

Uhh, Skjor? Geralt? either of you guys want to righteously smite one of these things that go bump in the carnival?
Also, +1 to Lotus Leshy.

Same, if not because it would be freaking hilarious to see it beat the dragon at the end of the poll.
Hopefully, and me and my IRL GM buddy were debating this, a few new animal companions would be added. Her favorite class is the Druid, and she wants me to try it out, and I said I would if the next bestiary comes out for stats for the Wombat, Dire Cuttlefish, or Emu were added.

I'm a little miffed we have an option for Sasquatch kin as a playable race, but there,s more giants we didn't need and no non-humanoid race. Human+ or Human- gets kinda dull.

woah, what do you mean giants we don't need? I'll have you know that Slag Giants are central contributors to our society. Why without them, who would, er use all our, uh, slag?
?
Or Yeti-kin. Maybe an insectoid PC race less OP than the Trox (I've always been fond of both Formians and Thrae). Lots of opportunities, especially since I'm one of those GMs determined to sift through all the Bestiaries.
One of my friends is annoyed by the amount of Golems, as opposed to giants. I'm just glad we have more Leshies :)

Yes, insectoid races! the first thing I thought of when I saw the race builder was "I am going to make Firey Bug-People." Of course, this being my first time making a race it ended up stupid OP. My enduring insistence on giving them a full 6 limbs, four of which being arms, does not help.
Edit: Personally, I'm sick of the amount of Dragon relatives, and demons. Where's the Asura/Aeon love?
?
First race I tried to make with that thing was trying to convert a Dark Stalker to playable, which of course ended up OP as well.
I would also like perhaps an elephant/mammoth humanoid for play. Sort of an obvious choice once you think about it :)
I actually like the true dragons, and the guardian dragon in 4 was awesome. I don't think we need any more drakes, though.
I love Asuras and Aeons. They've been good to me and my campaigns so far. I'd also like to see more Oni and Qlipoth. We definitely need more Kaiju and Great Old Ones.
My favorites are Proteans, Rakshasas, and Qlippoth as far as outsiders go. Kaiju, dark fey, and the creepier aberrations are also nice.

First race I tried building was a Furyan race from the Riddik movies. Its probably a bit OP, will have to find my sheet for it.

my first race was a fey thing half based off Mew, they were indeed OP
?
Anyone else here try and make a Wookiee?
Also, which bugbear were you aiming at, Ramiel?
The one that dodged the blade.
My first race were Branchlings, and they weren't op, I think. Quarterlings were, maybe, and my Pataks were considered underpowered by the boards.
?
Done :)
Now that I'm in the star wars mood, maybe I should work towards a Yuuzhan Vong race from the EU. Should fit in well with Kytons.
Just wanted to check back on my earlier question about switching Sleep out for something that can be used outside of map combat. (The one-round casting time means it never even benefits from early combat divided parties.) For now, Daze it is!

Wait, did I misinterpret "consuming him in fire and sending him collapsing on the ground," or shouldn't one of the three bugbears be dead? Gonna fire away at the leader anyway.
Edit: On another note, apparently the closest google translate gets to Bugbear, is Scarecrow. Not too off, as far as "Things that are mean't to scare."
?
Oh yeah, yer right. Guess that means Skfor's still up an kicking. Been such a long series of breaks in between this encounter I must've missed that.
Also, your fire bomb. Currently, like, two different PCs are right by him, wouldn't they get hit by the splash damage?

I have the Precise Bombs discovery. It allows me to exclude a number of squares from the blast radius of my bombs equal to my Int mod. It's like a shaped charge. This doesn't help if I miss with the bomb though.
I used my gun in my last post anyway, so no risk of splash there.
Also, yay I saved Skjor!
?
Hooray for metagaming!
Nice, smart move.

The Skjor thing.
Also, can't tell which bugbear Ammon is aiming for. More specific, please?

I'm sure the initiative order is still up.

Can I replace some of these languages I haven't used yet for others? I'd like to switch something for Dwarven, since they seem like the crafty types. Crafty meaning crafters, not shifty people. Don't want to risk insulting Dwarves after all.
I think Ramiel is up next, right?
?
Sure, go ahead. We're all still getting into character here.
Yup, still waiting on Ramiel.

Cool. So I can switch out Draconic, Goblin, or Gnome. I'm conflicted.
Draconic helps tie in the slight magical leaning that UMD is helping with. I want to try to fuse some magic and technology together at some point in the future.
Goblin will help me add some "boom" to my projects.
Gnome is also alchemist friendly, and they do make a lot of "interesting" experiments.
I think I'm leaning towards Gnome.

So I was a bit worried I'd be holding things up, I still haven't found a reliable way to get the messageboards to update me about posts when I'm on my phone, but it appears that I haven't much?
