Juis takes a step away from the imp attacking him. He is about to swing his mace at it when he notices at the last second that the other imp looks like it is on it's last leg. He switches his target mid-swing but goes wide with his sudden change.

Juis changes targets mid-swing and, losing his balance in the process, ends up hitting neither.
Marianna on the other hand, plows into the seriously hurt imp, driving her sword into its side. Flopping to the ground, the green imp is sucked back into the wood-carving and disappears without a trace.
Blue Imp heals a bit of hits wounds and is no longer shaken. Now a solo act, it flies at Juis once again. This provokes another attack from the oracle. The imps tail stings Juis in the neck, the wound swelling with venom. The Pathfinder feels dizzy and faint from the poison.
Juis gets hit for 5hp dmg, and 1 DEX dmg from the poison. He will need another DC 13 Fort or continue to take DEX dmg. His AoO is pending. And Nylthe is up to close the round. Is that the end of the summoned eagle?

Marianna plays the waiting game, while Okuru tries to stun the Blue Imp once more but again, the imp shrugs off the effect.
The imp launches itself at the celestial eagle, trying to sting the flying creature, but it cannot bring its venomous appendage to bear.

Marianna delayed, but her weapon has proved to be rather slippery in this fight, and she cannot make a meaningful attack.
Nylthe chooses her whip this round, trying to aid the attacks of her allies, by driving the imp before the lash.
The eagle attacks the imp with claws and beak, but none of those strikes are able to wound the remaining infernal pest.

Ebert's attack on the imp fails to make any contact as it flies deftly away.
Okuru lunges at the imp, feinting an attack. The imp falls for the bluff and tries to avoid an attack that never really comes, keeping it off balance.
The feint rule denies the target its DEX bonus for but only against YOUR next attack, fwiw.
The wounded imp lunges at Ebert this time, provoking an attack from the warpriest. It's own tail sting cannot penetrate Ebert's armor. Some of the imp's wound close magically as well.
Ebert has an AoO. Marianna and Nylthe (and pet) are up to close Round 8.

As the imp closes in on Ebert to strike, the warpriest takes advantage of an opening and is able deliver a precise and damaging blow to the infernal spawn.
Leaping up and over the bed, Marianna uses the warmind and her flanking position to nail the imp just as its recovering from Ebert's stroke. The damage is just too much for the little devil and with a trailing scream it is sucked back into the wooden nymph statue from which it came, ending the fight.

Ah, finally! Didn't even press those guys ability as much as good have. Imagine chasing htem around the room while they were both invisible. Need good or silver weapons to bypass DR, so some low level oils or silvered weapons might in order sometime.

As the long combat finally ends, a calm stillness falls over Zarta's inner sanctum. The secret door behind the nymph carving is still open, revealing a cramped, utilitarian and sparse space that is contrast to the rest of the apartments.
Almost all the room is taken up by a long desk topped by a series of cubbies full of papers and curios. The desk itself is clear except for a piece of paper and a small, framed portrait of Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin with a lipstick kiss-mark on it. The walls of the room are irregular and look as if the room was shoehorned into wasted space between other rooms. Like the rest of the personal chambers, the room is windowless, and is pierced only by the secret door and an air vent in the southern corner.

Juis pulls out his wands and goes healing those that need healing. While doing so, he thinks on how much time they have left before they must get back.

Nylthe lets out a long, and for her, undignified, sigh as the last of the imps drops.
She gives a quick look at the codes before joining Juis in his searches. "If it's a simple substitution, the numbers don't map to any of the 'words.' The repeating characters are in the wrong place even for the words of the correct length. Let's bring it with us. We can always try to decode it back at the Lodge."

Hearing Marianna denounce the unlikely pairing Ebert Chimes in "Well they do say 'opposites attract', Ha! But then again you might have something there. Can you open the frame?" Ebert looks on in wonder as Marianna holds the frame in hand.
Feeling a poke in his back Ebert thanks Juis "Ah thank you sir. I appreciate you holding my wand for me."
Ebert will assist Juis' search about the room.

As Marianna picks up the framed picture of Ambrus Valsin, Ebert notices a slip of paper tucked into the back of the frame. It appears to be a fan's note about a beloved actor, with some nonsense words scrawled at the bottom.
Juis considers the time and realizes the group has spent about 10 minutes in total since they left the study. He attempts to heal the party, but apparently Ebert beats him to the punch.

Glancing at the note discovered from the picture, "More codes."
Seeing nothing else from the secret room he addresses the others. "Lets be on our way. I'd brother have time to spare to get back to the lounge."
Juis moves out of the secret room and then heads to the north door in the bedroom. He slowly opens the door and peers at what is beyond.

Juis is not particularly interested in the codes, and doesn't find anything else of immediate value in the secret room. Instead, he wanders to the north door off the bedroom and opens it to look inside.
This room seems to be in pristine condition, with little evidence of renovations. The chamber is full of a variety of equipment suggestive of a dungeon or torture chamber. The walls appear to be thickly padded and sustain hooks holding a number of whips, bludgeons, and other instruments of pain. Spaced between large mirrors are several extremely obscene paintings, including a rather blasphemous portrait of Sarenrae in a compromising position with two succubi.

Finding the torture room repugnant, Juis enters the room to do a quick search before leaving it. He mumbles to himself, "Hope we don't have any followers of Sarenrae among us."
