You don't find anything else of significance in the room.
I didn't see any spellcraft checks for the two items. Do you still want to check?
As you travel back out and through to Area B5 (from this map), Uori is saddened by the news of the undead.
"I shall go and tend to those pour souls," he says as he gathers his meager belongings. "My friends will need a proper burial/"
The persistent glow of the bluish fungi dimly lights the way deeper below the Kortos Mounts. The tunnels broaden to reveal a shallow river that bisects an immense tunnel stretching to the north and south. To the east a small passage exits the chamber at a steep incline.
1d4 ⇒ 4
Go ahead and place yourselves in a line at the entrance leading to the river. Also, you can continue your conversation if you so choose.

Ugh, lost my post bc I deleted my cookies and cache :/ Also missed the items on first reading :/
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 121d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
"I know I am not," Bozmir agrees, "but I am not claiming the role. It's just that you took a large risk and were badly injured. I don't think rash actions will work well in our team. To be honest, I would actually prefer you up front, but the General seems insistent on it."
If Jeza wants to be at the back, perhaps we could swap spots?
Jezakay
|
Jeza looks back and forth between the men. "We need to have a better plan for these narrow tunnels. We cannot have any more struggling to the front when a slow retreat would put us at an advantage. Especially with the mindless undead."
Jeza takes a deep breath before continuing. "I don't think the team is jelling yet, I have hope that it will yet. Perhaps we need someone to lead us, direct us in a tactical situation? Anyone have suggestions? Please don't nominate yourself."
Dulomak
|
It is hard, to gel, as you say, when one among us is daft and refuses to use common sense. I can see in the dark, Kontha has wonderful senses. We are hunters.
General Dissa Ray
|
"Bozmir brings up a great point. I am accustomed to being in the front after a lifetime of leading warriors in battle. Today, my armor is weak and my weapon feels unresponsive. I will gladly follow Dulomak and Kontha. It will be better for the team if I stay back until another day." Dissa nods to both of his companions, and passes his hand in front of Dulomak, indicating he should take the lead.
"Barid, you seem both peceptive and comfortable speaking. Why don't you direct our actions in battle until I regain myself." Dissa seems humbled and genuine in his offer, perhaps ashamed of his inability to lead.

What's Barid doing all the way up there. I'm gonna move him back to the middle.
As you approach the river, you see three creatures on the other side eyeing you. They move in aggressively.
Bad group 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Dissa: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

Jezakay: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Bozmir: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (13) + 0 = 13
Barid: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Round 1
Barid, Jezakay, Dissa, Dulomak, and Kontha are up
Bad Group 2
Bozmir
Bad Group 1
Barid delays until Jeza, Dissa, and Dulomak move.
General Dissa Ray
|
Dissa readies an action to attach the first one that moves in to range. He also turns to his compatriots and says, "If you want to fight in formation, now is the time. Let's get Kontha and Bozmir up front, and Dulomak and I will provide support with our reach weapons. Also, let's keep to the mouth of the cave in case we need to retreat or withdraw."
Knowledge: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (19) - 2 = 17 What are we fighting?
Jezakay
|
Jeza uses his bit of luck ability on Dulomak and holds his move action to be in behind Dissa if Dissa moves forward and there is an open square behind him.
"Desna's luck Dulomak.", Jeza says with the use of the spell like ability.

Jeza uses a double move to go 50' 70' with terrain of a max of 80'. He crosses straight across the river from the cave opening. He watches for the lower thing to provoke with his spear.

I can do that and then he will move to get into position to poke the other mite.

"That battle was much less costly," Bozmir casually mentions. He checks over the mites' gear, also checking for magic, before continuing.

As you push forward, the sounds of battle echo louder inside the cave. Finally, you can see the glow of a full moon at the end of the tunnel.
The light of the surface world above provides a welcome reprieve from the blue and green fungus of the caverns below, and light illuminates a stream whose water is hastened by runoff from a recent storm further up the mountains. A ledge to the west rises up to the nearby forest canopy.
It is now night and the entire area is considered dim light. These patches of woodland are also filled with underbrush that behaves as light undergrowth (anything green; brown is a path and provides regular movement), creating difficult terrain and concealment. The trees are only a few decades old and do not completely occupy their respective squares. A creature that shares a space with one or more trees benefits from partial cover.
The stream is about 10 feet wide and 5 feet deep in this area, and the water moves downstream from east to west at 30 feet per round. Treat this as rough water, which requires a DC 15 Swim check to navigate. A Large creature can walk through the water as though it were difficult terrain with a successful DC 12 Strength check. On a failed Strength check, such a creature is checked and unable to move farther that turn. A 3-foot-diameter tree truck spans the width of the river, creating an impromptu bridge. The trunk is slippery from the splashing water, and crossing it at half speed requires a successful DC 7 Acrobatics check, during which time the creature is treated as flatfooted for moving on a narrow surface. If the creature fails this check,it falls into the water unless it succeeds at a DC 13 Reflex save, in which case it lands prone on the trunk instead.
Janira: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

Jeza does a double move to the indicated location. 80 feet of movement finally counts for something. Aside, do I know anything about a Minotaur (per Janira's ID earlier).
Know: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
Jeza yells encouraging words to Janira"I'm almost there, hold on!"
How does it appear that Janira is doing?
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Jeza also relays anything he knows of the Minotaur to the party.
Bozmir the Rather-Pretty

Bozmir moves forward and begins angrily shouting orders in an inspiring way. "Janira, use your triceps! Once it's disarmed you won't need to focus on dodging."
If she and anyone else accepts Raging Song: +2 Strength, +2 Constitution, +1 Will, -1 AC, some actions restricted.
I hope she isn't using agile maneuvers to disarm.
Thanks for reminding me to identify it, Jeza. Bozmir will add to the knowledge pool, shouting out its weaknesses and abilities if he remembers any.

Did we already try rolling for it once? I can't remember

Dulomak, the green is difficult terrain so 10' to move. I moved you back to account for that. Same thing with Jeza if I remember your starting spot correctly. Dissa is in delay as I feel like I've waited long enough.
Jeza, you only know the thing is called a minotaur because Janira told you earlier. Bozmir, you are able to identify the beast as a minotaur. You know that they are incredibly strong but that's it.
Barid doubles move towards the melee as well.
The minotaur 5' steps towards Janira and attacks. Fortunately, she was able to deftly dodge its strikes.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Attack 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Gore: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Janira then steps back again but fails to disarm the beast.
Disarm: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Everyone is up.

Bozmir takes a running start, attempting to jump as far as he can into the long grass so it doesn't slow him.
Acrobatics: 1d20 ⇒ 14
Hitting the ground, he keeps trudging towards the fight and angrily shouting his Raging song (free).
Sorry for defacing the map, but I had to figure it out for myself first and help make it clear for you Slin.
So, Janira is rejecting my song's help, or just using Dex to her maneuver?
Jezakay
|
Jeza casts the spell expeditious retreat to get the speed bonus and jumping bonus. He then jumps the river and prepares to evac Janira if she allows the action.
Jump: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (13) + 16 = 29 Move speed 70 for 1 minute.
"Janira, grab on.", Jeza suggests.

Correct. She's rejecting the song to keep her AC up. She looks pretty hurt.

Both the dino and the slayer use their movement to get out of the hindering terrain (does the water count as hingerind terrain?) If it doesn't I would like to move through as much as I can, understanding that there is a STR check.

You can try jumping across it. Because you're in the air, it only counts as 5 feet of movement. DC 7 if you have a running start.
Bozmir the Rather-Pretty

It would be Dex for Acrobatics to jump, or Str to swim at 1/4 speed. I hope you don't mind me checking your character sheet and asking how you got those penalties on Acrobatics and ride?
