Iris whispered to Satsu and Auryn just loud enough for Bregolas to hear, behind a shy hand and blushed cheeks with a smile and fluttering eyes He... tends to be always cranky, I think.

The Pathfinders leave the intricate miniature city to further proceed with the mission to explore the cave heading east down the passageway. They find the caverns covered with bioluminescent fungi that lights their way. The passage narrows to between 3 to 6 feet and branches off in several areas only to narrow further preventing forward progress. After about 20 minutes, the party manages to navigate the narrow passage. The persistent glow of the bluish fungi dimly lights the way deeper below the Kortos Mounts. The tunnels broaden to reveal a shallow river that bisects an immense tunnel stretching to the north and south. To the east a small passage exits the chamber at a steep incline.

Floyd looks around to see what he can see

-Posted with Wayfinder

Floyd makes his way forward to get a good look at their situation. Before Satsu enters the wider cavern, he taps the nagaji on the shoulder and points out something that does not seem right in the area just west of the river. He believes it to be a trap of some sort.

Ok, the party has found a trap and cannot see what lies on the other side of the underground stream. The group can either investigate this are further or turn back and investigate another part of the cave. If the party wishes to explore the current area, please go ahead and move you tokens into the chamber and include any actions (like trying to use stealth or a spell to mask your movement if applicable) you take as you explore the cave.

The party cautiously moves into the bigger chamber. Both Satsu and Bregolas take a closer look at the strange glowing fungi that lights their way. The fungi is something neither of the curious agents have seen, Bregolas recalls that the phenomenon is not unheard of in certian subterranean areas of Golarion.

As the party fans out into the opening, Auryn's Cyclone swirls and rushes about Auryn, clearly warning her of danger. From the darkness, the party can hear a few excited barks and yips as they can make out two kobolds in the dim light. They motion to the party furiously and growl.

In preparation for my turn, does the river seem shallow enough that I'd be able to cross it? How does difficult terrain like that affect my movement speed? Thanks!

The party springs into action!

Iris tries to stay out of sight of the kobolds but bravely plays her flute to bolster the party spirits even though the act betrays her position. The act of courage, as well as the expertly played music, fills the party with resolve. All party members are under the effect of Iris' inspire courage while she maintains the song and the party is withing hearing distance.

Rengel is unable to judge the depth of the stream, but assuming it was shallow enough to cross, crossing the stream is difficult terrain effectively halving Rengel's moving speed while traversing through the waters.

Floyd is up.

Inspire Courage:
Inspire Courage (Su): A 1st-level bard can use his performance to inspire courage in his allies (including himself), bolstering them against fear and improving their combat abilities. To be affected, an ally must be able to perceive the bard's performance. An affected ally receives a +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +1 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls. At 5th level, and every six bard levels thereafter, this bonus increases by +1, to a maximum of +4 at 17th level. Inspire courage is a mind-affecting ability. Inspire courage can use audible or visual components. The bard must choose which component to use when starting his performance.

The party continues to square off against the kobolds!

Floyd moves into the cave and tries to get himself into a good firing position. Sorry Floyd, had to bot you in order to keep the game moving along.

The kobolds attack!

The northern kobold draws a sling and fires a stone at Rengel, but misses the occultist by a mile.

The southern kobold fires a stone at Iris, perhaps to silence her song. The little humanoid similarly misses the mark.

Satsu up next. Please note that you may post your turn out of order. Posting combat actions out of order happen often in pbp games due people's random ability to post. I will, however, resolve the turns in order and attempt to match the desired action if at all possible. If actions taken prior to your turn drastically effect the action, I will usually allow you to re-post the action. Now, on to the fight!

The elvish warrior springs to action. With a wordless grimace that speaks volumes about his opinion of lowly kobold creatures, the trained archer draws his bow and takes swift aim. Poor Satsu hears the sudden whiz of an arrow flying past his left ear, towards the nearer of the two kobolds.

Regnel uses a standard action to spend one point of mental focus that was assigned to the longsword to active the Legacy Weapon ability, which makes the longsword function as a longsword +1 for one minute. He has 5 points of mental focus left in the blade.

He then charges towards the kobolds. He moves up to the edge of the river and wades in, hoping that it won't be too deep and the current isn't too swift.

Satsu draws upon his inner power, releasing divine magic over the Pathfinders. The energy bolsters the agents' efforts.

Auryn invokes her arcane might and launches a globe of sizzling green acid at the nearest foe. The acid strikes home, burning the little lizard causing it to screech in pain.

Bregolas deftly maneuvers himself for a clear shot. His arrow strikes true, piercing the same kobold damaged by Auryn. The shaft digs deep and the kobold falls, blood pooling about it as the creature lies motionless.

Rengel readies his ancient weapon and springs into action. He begins to wade into the underground stream. Upon reaching the river's edge, he discovers he can, in fact, wade into the stream, its depth being only a few feet at this location.

Iris continues to pour her innate gift into her song, lifting the party's spirits. She snaps off a spell at the remaining foe but the sudden flash only serves to anger the little dragon.

Floyd aims his rifle but is unable to line up a shot.

The remaining kobold drops his sling and draws a spear from its back. He stabs at the air elemental hovering ominously over him. The kobold actually manages to stab Auryn's cyclone but was unable to muster enough strength to harm the conjured outsider.

The party closes in on the lone kobold!

Satsu moves closer the little dragon, ready to strike!

Auryn joins her scaly companion in moving to engage the kobold.

With noticeable flair, Bregolas dashes across the underground stream, dropping his bow at his feet, leaping deftly as he draws his blade ready to cut down the defiant foe.

Rengel wades through the stream and makes it the little hummanoid, ready to swing the old blade once again.

Meanwhile, the Cyclone attacks its prey, striking a fierce blow on the kobold, drawing blood as it opens a cut across the thing's chest.

End Round 2, begin Round 3.

Iris draws her bow and takes aim. She looses an arrow, but is unable to find her mark, the arrow striking high off the cave wall. There is a -4 penalty to attacks with ranged weapon for firing into melee unless you possess the precise shot feat. Additionally, as your allies are surrounding the target, it also gains cover (+4 AC).

Floyd can take a shot before the kobold's next action.

Floyd tries to line up the kobold in his sights, but he is unable to find the shot.

The panicked kobold, surrounded by foes, flees in terror! The tiny dragonkin is able to slip most of the party, but Bregolas is able to take a swing at the fleeing humanoid. His elven blade cuts deep, slicing the kobold across the chest as it tires to flee. The dungeon denizen falls in a heap from the wound.

Out of combat.

The stream continues on to the east until the way becomes blocked by cave wall. As the party explores the area, they can make out the faint sounds of a female voice, shouting at what must be the top of her lungs As the legendary Gregaro Voth successfully battled the wild beasts in the deepest reaches of the Mwangi Expanse, so shall I defeat you, foul servant of Lamashtu! Iris recognizes the voice to be that of Janira Gavix, their mentor and scout.
