At this point I'm inclined to drop the title, but I don't know whether it will open the door for us or send everything to hell :P

Oh dear, I don't suppose I could take that back? I don't think I would have done it if I thought it would be noticed. It isn't always clear how cantrips are handled.
On the other hand, does she have Spellcraft ranks? If she knew what spell I was casting, she'd know there was no harm in it (since she hasn't got any poison about).
Perhaps a Wisdom check to have cast it before entering?

GM Harker |

Zeno: I don't think it would be appropriate to retcon it, but if it makes you feel any better she would have asked you all to leave anyway. I did have her make a Perception check to notice the spellcasting which was higher than you would have been able to roll on Stealth with a Nat 20.

So I have +8 Linguistics. I forgot to choose 2 more languages since nice I bumped up my Skill, but I will do that AFTER this scenario. I can also make all knowledge checks too to help with part 2.

Good of lucks with the surgery. I hope everything goes fine with that Harker.

That's a scary thing for your family to go through. I hope the surgery goes smoothly, and your father recovers quickly.

GM Harker |

We are coming to an end of the scenario, so please make your Day Job or Downtime activity rolls now.
Also, please roll an unmodified d20 for the boon roll. If you roll a 19 or 20, you will receive a boon. In this case, please also roll a d4 to determine which boon you will receive. Good luck!

I'll have the game reported to the Gameday organizers and the Chronicle sheets out by the end of the week.
We'll start #4-06 The Green Market (Tier 5-9) on or around Monday October 30th. We'll be returning to the normal thread for that one, and I'll close this one up after I get the Chronicle sheets out. It will not be run as part of the Gameday.
Zeno, if you are still interested in playing with the group and haven't played The Green Market then you are welcome to continue onto the next scenario.
If Zeno is unable to continue with us, I'll look into finding a replacement for the 6th slot.
The boon won by Vailis and Zeno is Mounted Tradition, which appears to allow nonstandard races to be able to use nonstandard mounts.

Yup! We made it again! :D
Despite the break it felt a bit short this one. Did we skip any content?
I am also curious about the first encounter, the assassins seemed to rough about stopping us. Did we miss some connection with the tapestry? It felt like they really had strong motivations to stop us back then, not open to negotiate obtaining the book, I supposed they had some connections with the tapestry. What was the case?

![]() |

I already played Green Market some years ago with another character (Xien). But Vailis already has that chronicle, I assigned to him after GMing the scenario.
I think it will be ok for me to just skip that one and rejoin the team afterwards.
Vailis really needs some time in his farm (he is probably trying research on how to mingle fiendish blood with normal caws and horses to improve production xD).

GM Harker |

Vailis, you skipped fighting the zelekhut due to diplomacy, also you played down which made the earlier fights easier. Although things might have been even more hairy if you had to fight the Elder Lightning Elemental in the higher tier. There was no optional encounters that I skipped, although I have done that in the past if a scenario seemed to be running long (i.e., more than 3 months, or there was a gameday scenario start deadline coming up).
There was really no way to negotiate for the book in the first encounter, it would have become a fight unless you magically dominated the assassin elf. In a past life she assassinated Hao Jin for the book, so there was no way she was going to give it up. The thugs were Golden League members associated with the Aspis Consortium so they wouldn't have given up without a fight either. None of them had anything to do with the tapestry though.

Zeno, if you are still interested in playing with the group and haven't played The Green Market then you are welcome to continue onto the next scenario.
I've played AND DMed it, so I'm afraid no dice, as it were.

Bummer; I really liked what you brought to the party, Zeno.

GM Harker |

Zeno, I'll PM you next time we need someone to fill in. The remainder of our scenarios will be high tier Season 4.
Everyone, I reported the game to the Gameday reporting page and sent the chronicle sheets to the emails you provided. Let me know if there are any issues.
I'll close this thread this weekend after everyone has had a chance to look over the sheets. Those of you in the campaign should just return to our regular thread.

Thanks GM.

Vailis is currently at 7.25.
I am GMing a Blackros Matrimony scenario for this Gameday which I was planning to assign to Vailis so he should be 8 at same time you finish next scenario ;)
