Check in and discuss things.

Yikes i really hope we can get some players in time.

What tier are you playing at?

It appears im the only one so far?

We have three players at the moment.

The Exchange

male Tiefling Tomb Raider 7 Init +2 Perception +13, Darkvision, Speed 40ft HP: 54 AC: 21 (FF 21/T 13) (23 while raging) CMD: 21 HP: 48 AC: 20 (FF 20/T 12) CMD: 21 CMB: +9 BAB: +4 FORT: +7 REF +7 (+2 during rage) WIL: +5 (+2 during rage)

Farg level 6 ready willing and ABLE!

Tracked Resources:

So with a few 6's roaming about it looks like this will be the character I'm playing. I'll get his stats updated (he'll jump straight to level 6) as soon as we finish off this fight.

Jan ready for first Grand Convocation-thingy. Is good time, yes?

If we're going with 5th level characters I'll prob bring my warpriest as well..

This is him.

Scarab Sages

Male Snowborn Half-Elf Ancient Lorekeeper Lunar Oracle 12

Star Chaser, known to his friends as Talib Melchor and his tribe as Lúrëandilúnon - a 6th level Lunar Oracle - has arrived.

Awesome, glad everyone is checked in and getting updates. This starts on Nov. 5th, so everyone has a few days to make last minutes purchases, ect..

Grand Lodge

Hey WerePox, any idea which character you're bringing? I was looking through them, and really liked what I saw.

I think he was planning on Grim Krieger

It all depends on what our end makeup is.. I have 2 level 7s as well if it would help us bump up. If not prob bringing Grim..

Jan ready now. I think

The Special doesn't determine tier by APL, rather the tiers are set at 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, so based on everyone else, we are looking at 5-6.

Official start time is tomorrow, 12:00p EST.

We have five players @ Levels 5 or 6 correct?

I have two players at Level 4.2 that are interested in playing (up).

Does anyone have objections to letting two more in?

Two level fours equal a level six, right?

*It's it completely your call. I'm happy with whatever you choose.

I've always been kinda against the amount of players allowed for a table. I understand the reasoning behind it, but I find tables with 4 people to be much more fun than large ones. Especially the early season ones. When you have 7 people in something designed for 4 it makes it a cakewalk and not very fun imo.. The challenge is what perks my interest to the game.

That said it is just my opinion.. In the end im fine with having 7 people in the party and like Farg said it is ultimately ur call.

No problem, Grim.

Nice! Disruptive is on my future feat list, though not until 7th level. Deific Obedience is too good to pass up as a Pharasmin dual-wielding dagger-fighter.

Not that it makes a huge difference, turns out Odd is only 4.1 and my tracker got off somewhere. I can't for the life of me think where she'd have gotten another chronicle. So no purchases for me other than a few scrolls (protection from evil, magic weapon, and remove fear) for 75gp.

I think you have to take it as a bonus feat due to the pre-reqs. (Oddly, the way Warpriest is worded I think you only count as a fighter for your bonus feats). Hence, why I took it at 6.

Substantial Spoilers for Echoes of the Everwar III:
Our fairly optimized 7-player party had pretty much stomped our way unopposed through Parts I and II, so we got to Whistledown in high spirits. We figured it was some measly monsters making a muck of the meager town guard, and didn't do much planning in setting our ambush the following night. We promptly got absolutely wrecked by the encounter. One of us got paralyzed right off the bat, I got dominate'd, and none of us could find the enemy leader. The battle took 219 posts. As some of us noted at the time, whole scenarios have finished in fewer posts. Though we had only one actual death (followed by undeath... ugh) there were several near-death experiences for most of the party. We got saved from a TPK by two things (IMO): Tektike's character being well supplied, and another player's extremely well-timed critical hit from a raging Living Monolith.

Warpriest seems to be the new rage around the Society. I have two in another game currently as well. I'd really love the class if it weren't for that 2+INT skill points thing...

Good thing you have Farg along to cover for your lack of skills!

The 2+Int hurts, but the versatility is pretty cool. Haven't seen very many locally though I really like the class.

I see more and more of them in PbP. Currently debating building one based around Vital Strike myself but I really, really like my skills in PFS.

Alex, I saw your note on Farg;

Quote:

Note: Farg has applied 3 XP from Kazmere Lillwag.

He uses a different PFS number as technically it is impossible to rename Kazmere.

PFS #37010-2

Want me to take care of switching those 3xp over from your -1 to your -2 character, so your online records are correct?

(also, you can rename, but since it's been so long, it'll be easier to just port those 3xp over from Kazmere and then your -1 is open for play again)

How does that work? Is there a new function or something cause I know I asked about this in the PFS forum a year or so back and folks were like you have to make a new alias.

Also how can you change the name of an alias with more than 10 posts?

Shadow Lodge Contributor

As a Venture Captain, I can go in and just change who those three credits were assigned to, so they'll show up in Farg's history and not on your -1.

And I guess strike the second part of my last post - I didn't look at your post history, just the sessions and such.

I will get to the rest of Zirt's and Thrash's checks in a bit. Anyone else, feel free to try your hand roll at something.

Already done :)

Check Farg's session history - you should see those first three games now.

Awesome! Thank you!

Edit: As to Lastwall Phalanx. I'm all for it. Farg can either stand in the front row or in the back. I think at this level it's prolly better he sticks back a bit as his damage output is still pretty good but his defenses are no longer anything to write home about.
