Vybus enters the room and upon sighting the portly mage being pummeled by the large Shoanti and says, ”Ah, there you are. I’ve been saving this for you.”

Vybus produces a bone needle and sinew thread from his spell component pouch and appears to stitch the air in front of himself as stitches simultaneously appear on the fat wizard’s lips, his mouth apparently being magically sewn shut!

Lipstitch and I’ll use arcane pool point number 9 out of 11 to increase the DC to 20 (FORT), roll twice and take worst from Ill Omen

Alerted by Warpac's warning you all run towards the exit, with the dwarf capable to reach under the flying wizard but not to attack him and Barm empowered by Tak with flight who comes near the fat man but can't attack as well. Vybus tries to cast a spell at the wizard but he shruggs off the effect.

@Barm: I was going to tell you to check your movement due to medium armor but I noticed you have +2 hide armor... so a flying double move is 120 feet for you. Nice

The wizard steps aside from Barm, produces a tiny dagger and sproceeds to slice his mouth open... obviously causing himself to bleed profusely!

The weapon is not enlarged when it is thrown, the vicious ability does not work because it is not a melee weapon, cannot use power attack, and he takes a penalty for it not being a throwing weapon. But he can attack!

I seem to be running out of spells and arcane pool points. Ah well, perhaps I’ll try giving the portly mage a taste of his own medicine.

That is the big weakness of the Arcanist. Not enough spells. Carry some nice cheap utilitarian scrolls around like Cat's Grace (even a strength based fighter appreciates the AC boost!) or invisibility.

Barm flies towards the fleeing mage and decapitates him with one last fell swoop of his blade. The corpulent corpse falls down on the ground and thuds on impact. As you check the bloodied remains you find a letter. It is the correspondence Naroth Balam had with another lissalan wizard ally of his who informed him that his followers had discovered the location of Krune's runic archive and will soon have the keywords to activate the refuge tokens. You also find a strange yet powerful ioun stone floating near the dead body.

Spending some time inside the ruins you finally undestand how to retrieve the tokens. Apparently you need to face the statue of Lissala hidden in the room the wizard and his servants were and then brand or strike yourselves as the statue speaks:[b]" Prostrate yourself and mark your flesh in honor of the Lady of Runes. Your service will be rewarded."

Apparently this can be done 25 times...

Do you do this? Either way the module is over, you can expect your CS by tomorrow, with a rather powerful item included, an Ocher Rhomboid Ioun Stone, which gives you an extra feat but also changes your alignment one step towards evil. You can overcome this byu spending the PP for an atonement spell being cast on you. Tell me if you do so I'll put the information on your CS

To do that one or more of you needs to kneel and then harm or brand himself in front of the statue of Lissala. Doing this 25 times allows you to recover all of the tokens storese in the statue

You activated an ocher rhomboid ioun stone, an evil item that radiates the associated aura, but gives you a bonus feat. Fill in the selected bonus feat in the space provided below (you must meet all prerequisites for the chosen feat). Activating an ocher rhomboid ioun stone is an evil act that shifts your alignment one step toward evil unless you receive the benefits of an atonement spell. If such an alignment shift would result in an evil alignment, you may no longer play the character in the Pathfinder Society Organized Play campaign. This ioun stone is cursed, and can't be removed by its owner or anyone else without a remove curse or similar spell, as detailed on page 536 of the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook. (The ioun stone has a caster level of 12.)

As long as you activate the stone you also need to tell me what feat you want it to provide you so that I can write it on your CS.
