Vagantem charges forward! The viscious two bladed sword swings just once, as she tries to bring her momentum into play.

Brigid moves up a bit and points at the ground under the intimidating bugbear, even as she lets her performance linger once more.
Move action: Move up, stop performing to let it linger
"Stick around!"
Brigid casts Glue Seal on the square the bugbear is standing in. (DC 14)
Lyani Breen

Lyani feels shaken, but she doesn't give up. She 5-foot steps north while continuing her battle dance, and attacks the bugbear again.
Scimitar, Battle Dance, Shaken: 1d20 + 5 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 2 - 2 = 6 Damage, Battle Dance: 1d6 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 2 = 8
The bugbear then glares at Lyani, causing her to freak out and miss horribly.

Will: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (10) + 0 = 10
RFX: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Isabella misses, and thebugbear bursts into a fit of laughing. Uncontrollable laughing. The lumbering humanoid drops to the floor, where he is glued solidly in place.
Vagantem follows up with a deep cut. Lyani, still trying to shake off the fear, misses her attack.
The goblin fiercely defend their master, though incompetently.

Still uncertain if she can best this goblin, let alone it's master, Isabella misses again.
Vagantem Aere

Vagantem lets loose on the prone bugbear, striking with first one end of the sword, and then with the second blade.
"This is the work of a butcher, not a warrior!" she complains.

Though Isabella trembles and misses the goblin, Vagantem and Adurra make sure the bugbear never rises again.
The goblins look dismayed, and try to flee into the sewers!

Since the goblins seem to be fleeing, Brigid attempts to stop the sort of shenanigans that happened earlier tracking down Ekkie and drops another gluey mess in the five feet in front of (Blue) the first fleeing goblin.
Move, Cast Glue Seal, DC14 Reflex on the spot with the cloud on it. Since they're fleeing, that shouldn't provoke, should it? If it would, back Brigid up one square and put the goop under Blue....
Isabella Aldori
|
"Yeah! tell everyone the Pathfinder Society will not allow anyone or anything to mess with them"
Isabella is content to let the little buggers flee, their leader is down and their resistance broken.
No actions, delay
Vagantem Aere

Vag is less keen on the goblins fleeing to burn and kill again.
She advances on Red and attacks it.

Lyani dances over to the nearest of the fleeing goblins and swings her scimitar at it, but she still can't shake her shaken state and misses.

CMB: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Bridgid manages to glue the first goblin to the floor, with the second one stuck behind him. Vagantem and Lyani seem to be intent to cut the green creatures down, though Isabella is content to let them go.

"EKKIE, GET UP HERE! TELL US IF YOU WANT THEM DEAD OR ALIVE!"
Brigid is totally willing to let the goblin that's been helping the party have a say in the dealing with of the other goblins. It's only fair, right?
| DM Kludde |
Not kill. Even though that one is stupid! It just Inoklar what is big nasty chief! You try kill goblin dog, now you try kill goblin!
Brigid Half-Human
|
"You hear that? Ekkie your boss now. You stop running. Ekkie. Tell them stop running we no kill them."
Okay, it's not great prose and it's probably pushing the limits of combat conversationalism, but...
Vagantem Aere
|
Vag looks with disgust at the goblin in front of her.
"Better crawl on your belly toward Ekkie. And Ekkie... how are you going to keep them under control and stop them killing people?"
| DM Kludde |
Not kill people? How do you eat them if you can't kill them? Ekkie says, confused.
The goblins are defeated, though, and with Inoklar dead, the nightsoil marauders have lost all sense of leadership.
Congratulations! You have eliminated another threat to the society. Please stand by while I report and create chronicles. In the mean time, please fill me in on the ultimate fate of Ekkie the goblin...
Vagantem Aere
|
"You Can't Eat People!" screams Vagantem in frustration.
"Leave the town, next time People Might Eat You."
"though they'd have to be very hungry." she adds in a quieter voice.
Isabella Aldori
|
If we can get her to promise she will leave the city with the other goblins Isabella is happy to let her go. She is hesitant to turn Ekkie over to the officials or choose a more permanent solution.
Thanks for running! Boon rolls?

Brigid Half-Human
|
Brigid will not seek punishment against Ekkie, but with two underlings now under her control she may be able to set up a nice tribe *somewhere else* that is *not Magnimar*.
If she wants to stick around, though...
"If'n ye wanna stick aroun', lass, realize tha' there's a horrible beast in Magnimar! It's called the bureaucrasaurus, and it loves writing and taking money and memory from everyone, and if it doesn't get what it wants, it eats ye! It might be better for ye to take yer new peons t' a better place that isn't so dangerous, right?"
It's probably not possible to try and save the limbs of the goblin dog, but Brigid would at least investigate that as a possibility, and try to get it, the peons, and Ekkie safely away from the city so they can start up a 'better' goblin tribe, hopefully learning a little bit from this experience and maybe improving the goblins a little bit down the road.
It's a long shot, but that's part of what being a member of the Silver Crusade is about, and Brigid knows all too well what it's like to live in a society with fears and suspicions and anger all arrayed against her.
Thank you for running, boss!
| DM Kludde |
Updated now. Was there anyone else who I missed that for?
Lyani Breen
|
Looks great! Thanks for running the scenario! :)
Vagantem Aere
|
Quick question, does releasing the goblins count for Silver Crusade FJC:
Accept the surrender of an enemy combatant (other than an evil outsider or undead creature), and ensure his fair
treatment until he can be safely released, ransomed, or delivered to authorities for justice. Alternatively, allow an
enemy combatant with no means of escape to lee without further harm.
I'm guessing so, but confirmation would be appreciated.
| DM Kludde |
You treated Ekkie quite fairly, so you fulfil the first part of that requirement, which is all yo need. Fine by me.
Brigid Half-Human
|
Brigid will take that action, too, thank you for bringing it up, Vagantem!
