In that case he's a bit more damaged, but still standing.
N'Neka goes towards the woman, who she can see is an outsider thanks to her sight, but the woman remains still on the ground.
Amahl's Attack strikes hard on the creature, but doesn't appear to do as much damage as he had hoped it would do, but thanks to M's abilities the creature appears to have suffered far worse from it.
Illvaster turns to the Paladin who just struck him hard with her blade, but his jaws get stuck on her shield as she knocks his maw out of the way.
attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
"Die vile beast!" she screams as she swings her sword again at the beast again, carving a large wound into the beast's belly.

N'Neka moves toward the outsider woman cautiously, then pulls out her CLW potion. She peers at the woman, trying to make sure this is the right course of action.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 9 + 3 = 25
Amahl "the Fat" Bishankar
|
Amahl growls and takes a step so he is flanking or closer to flanking the dragon with the paladin. He once again lashes out at the vile beast!
Flurry: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 for 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 damage!
Flurry: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 for 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 damage!
| DM Aron Marczylo |
Amahl's flurry once again lands one hit only dealing minor damage to the creature.
N'Neka looks over the woman cuatiously.
M uses her abilities to attempt to cloud the creature's mind, however her ability doesn't appear to cause any affect on the creature.
Ilvaster turns to Amahl and attempts to bite down on him, but it completely misses and bites into the ground.
attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Eleanor roars in rage as she brings her blade down on the creature, however she misses this time and strikes the ground.

N'Neka's potion appears to help and heal up the worse of her wounds, but the woman is still unconcious. You're certain she's still alive as the potion actually healed back some of the wounds, which you now recognise to be similar to ones that Amhal and Eleanor are suffering from now.
M the Magnificent
|
Seeing that they might be overpowered M the Magnificent will focus her stare to give the creature a -2 to will saves as a swift action and then cast daze on it. DC 14.
For some reason this got eaten up yesterday.
N'Neka Omenala
|
N'Neka fires an acid dart at the dragon...
Dart: 1d20 + 3 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 3 + 3 - 4 = 21
for: 1d6 ⇒ 2
then moves to flank with Eleanor.
"Amahl, once we kill it, try running to the woman and healing her! I'm out of healing!" she shouts.
| DM Aron Marczylo |
N'Neka's acid dart strikes the creature's head, melting off a potion of it's horn and the mithral band falling off it as the creature falls in a heavy heap.
You notice that the band has transformed into a colourful and gawdy hat and the Dragon has become rapidly decomposed, revealing itself behind the illusion to have been undead. It's bones also appear to have been warped.
Eleanor, now decides to focus upon the undead claw that has been attacking her.
attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

Crawling Hands
| DM Aron Marczylo |
Amhal's and N'Neka's attacks take out the crawling hand that was bothering Amhal.
M steps forward to smash the hand with the morningstar in her hand, however doesn't manage to hit it.
attack: 1d20 ⇒ 10
Eleanor attempts to take down the last of the hands and destroys it with a well-placed blow with her blade.
attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
damage: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (2, 6) + 4 = 12
After the battle ends the demon continues to scream profanities and threats at the group about how he will come and eat your children along with many more empty threats.
Eleanor puts her blade away and looks to the woman in the circle and back to N'Neka.
"I could heal her. Do you want me to help her?" she asks, as she attempts to heal her horrific bite.
Lay on Hands: 1d6 ⇒ 2
N'Neka Omenala
|
"Yes, please. We need her awake. And shut up, you abomination," says N'Neka to Eleanor and then to the ranting demon. "You were probably caught because you were stupid. I'm sure your brothers and sisters will have a good laugh when you return to them."
| DM Aron Marczylo |
Eleanor attempts to heal up the young Elven woman until she is concious.
Lay on Hands: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Lay on Hands: 1d6 ⇒ 6
After the second dose of Eleanor's healing, the young elven woman's eyes open up as she looks around herself, alarmed at first and then curious.
"Who are you?" she asks as she looks around at the group and then to Kalkamedes "I don't recognise him but I do his aura...who is he?"
N'Neka Omenala
|
"His name is Kalkamedes, m'lady. He has been sleepwalking towards this destination for many a night, and we were charged with accompanying him. I am N'Neka Omenala, a druid and student of the ley lines." She does not mention that she knows the woman is an outsider.
| DM Aron Marczylo |
The sword remains silent for the moment.
The woman nods as the group explain the situation.
"I see...the demon must've corrupted my message to him." she struggles as she attempts to stand up on her own weight, despite the serious wounds. "I must defeat that demon. I cannot destroy him, but I can grant one of you the ability to banish the demon back to it's home plane."
| DM Aron Marczylo |
The woman nods and places a spell upon N'Neka.
"Use this against the demon. It'll banish him and he will no longer threaten your world. If we don't do this, the runes on his circle will break and he will unleash untold chaos on this world." she states, N'Neka now being able to use the spell, Banish.
Basically, for this adventure N'Neka has a 1 use of Banishment to use on the demon so you'll need to do the roll as if N'Neka were using her own spell.
Amahl "the Fat" Bishankar
|
Amahl nods his head, feeling the holy power the woman wields. "Truthfully, I dislike the idea of an evil free on this plane, but I dislike the idea of anyone enslaved in such a circle for so long. He will have no chance for redemption if he is cowed by enslavement."
N'Neka Omenala
|
N'Neka feels the glamour of the spell fall upon her and shivers slightly with wonderment as it seems to dissolve into her soul. She then refocuses on the woman and her companions. "Is there something that this demon hates...and M, can you lower its resistance to the spell?"
She nods, frowning to Amahl. "We must reduce the amount of harm the demon can do, and that means it should be returned to the Abyss. Redemption is a choice that individuals themselves must make."
M the Magnificent
|
[b] I can try. I have never had to deal with extra planar creatures before so it might be a learning experience for us all. [/b[ she says grimly and reaches into her pocket for her watch.
| DM Aron Marczylo |
The woman smiles
"He is a powerful demon and like all of us outsiders, when we die there is no afterlife. I was not powerful enough to destroy him, but banishing him back to the abyss will be a nightmare for him." she continues to attempt to stand despite the wounds, but unable to leave the circle. "His wards are weakening, but the ones to this circle are strong. Like him, I am weakened by the wards and you should be able to banish him with ease. I'll also need you to free me."
Eleanor Evelyn
|
Eleanor shakes her head.
"I do not detect any evil on her, but I know nothing of outsiders. She was completely at our mercy and if she wished to kill any of us, she could've killed N'Neka as you were in the circle with her." she reminds you as you make your way back to the demon. "Where as this sorry abomination cannot approch us nor cast spells at us."
At this the beast snarls and hurls more insults.
M the Magnificent
|
[B] I understand there are legions of demons of different types. What kind do we deal with here? [/OOC] inquires the mesmerist.

I understand there are legions of demons of different types. What kind do we deal with here? inquires the mesmerist.
| DM Aron Marczylo |
Eleanor just shrugs.
"I do not know. All I know is that thing must go back from where it came from." Eleanor states, turning to N'Neka. [b]"Send him back so he threatens this land no longer.
| DM Aron Marczylo |
Well, fact is it'd be an automatic success due to the power of the circle reducing the creature's SR, but I wanted to let you roll it for dramatic sense, though it seems N'Neka didn't roll.
With the power granted to N'Neka she banishes the foul demon who wails and curses as he attempts to grip the ground with it's massive claws and slender humanoid arms whilst a portal coloured red like blood has opened up and begins sucking him in like a funnel.
"I will be back and I shall get my revenge! You have not heard the last of Koth'vaul, The Lying Horns!" and with that he finally disappears, back to the abyss.
All that's left is possibly freeing Sulianna and freeing Kalkamedes' mind.
N'Neka Omenala
|
Sorry, I didn't see a roll in the description of the spell, just a Will save from the demon. :D
Kn Planes: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
N'Neka peers at the circle holding the woman, trying to determine how to free her. She glances back at the smoldering spot where the demon had been. "Well...that was interesting. I suppose we are marked for demonic revenge. Do they even have memories that long? I thought they were flighty." She grins widely, clearly relishing her success.
| DM Aron Marczylo |
You can destroy the circle with several blows. I'll not force you to make attacks to break the circle and just say you do it.
Once released the woman smiles and then places her hand on Kalkamedes' head.
"I see...I attempted to call out to him, but that demon corrupted my message. He's released and shall now be able to sleep from now on with no more issues." she states as Kalkamedes curls up on the floor and falls into a deep sleep. "You have my eternal thanks and I shall return to my world and heal my wounds. It is a shame I could never kill the demon, but now that he is back where he belongs, he can never threaten this realm again."
She gives you a wide smile as she makes her way to help you all escape this chamber as she flew up and activates the elevator once you are inside.
Before reaching Kalkamedes' home she dissappears back to her own world with a farewell and when you reach his home, the venture captain is still there and greets you with a wide smile, seeing her close friend now asleep and no longer walking.
"Well done Pathfinders! You have gone above and beyond the call! The building could prove useful for documentation and sending that demon was the best possible choice."
end of adventure. I'll have the certs done up tomorrow.
Amahl "the Fat" Bishankar
|
Amahl smiles at the woman. "I'm sure Kalkamedes and his friends will rest better knowing he is free of his compulsion and you are free of your prison. If you ever have need of aid again, I would be honored to help." He bows, smiling.
Once back at the house, he helps place Kalkamedes back in bed, safely home. "He will need rest, I think. And I will need a bath. Those crawling hands... I think I shall need a long bath."
| DM Aron Marczylo |
The sword is overly pleased that his best friend has now been cured. He's happy to go along with you on an advetnure provided the right resources to his friend.
Basically, the sheet will give you access to this unique intelligent item that functions as a +1 allying broken Mithral longsword if you have the cash, but you can always buy it later. I've gotten rather ill recently which is why I haven't given you the sheets yet.
