Round 1

- Leena
- Nerisiel
- Snowball
- Red - 2 damage

- Miriel
Off balance, Amiri can't get enough weight behind her swing to pierce the thick hide. Leena begins casting a spell, while her first spell misses its own attack. The timid Nerisiel fares even worse, and bangs his knuckles into the stone wall while drawing back for a swing.
Garn and Snowball are up.
Garn Harlardorn

Sorry I was hoping some window will open up 'cos Garn and Snowball can't do anything from there but seems nothing came up.
Not seeing an opening for himself or Snowball to engage the creatures, Garn directs Snowball to move back while he does the same, creating an opening for his allies to move back to either create an opening later or to draw the creatures back.
Move: Garn and Snowball moves back.

Garn has only one casting of lesser restoration left in his scroll.
After the immediate pain of the poison has faded, Garn looks exhausted still from the effect of the poison through his body. He pulls out a scroll from his case on his belt, and ponders for a while. He looks up, walks over to Miriel, chants from the scroll and lays his hand on her. The scroll burns up in eldritch flames, its large charge consumed, as restoring magic flows into Miriel.
"Yes, clearly this place is still dangerous. Strange, however, that the archaeologists have not encountered this monstrous serpents, or if they are aware, not have warned us of them."
He hands a wand over to Nerisiel. "Again, could you help to use this on Snowball and myself?"
That done, Garn calls on the the divine elemental magic to infuse himself to strengthen his hide to that of bark.
1. Cast lessser restoration from scroll on Meriel.
2. Ask Nerisiel to activate wand of mage armor on Snowball and Garn separately. In case you're wondering why Garn needs it even though he is wearing armor, it is in case he wildshapes later.

Miriel Magol

Miriel is examining the wounds of her companions when she feels a hand on her shoulder. "Oh, that's better. Wait, no! Not me!" she says, jumping up. She looks at Garn, confused in her feelings. Not able to decide, she finally submits with a sigh. "I thank you, my friend, for your concern. I should appreciate your gesture, although my heart and training tell me to put the needs of others before myself. Still, now I can protect better, so your actions may have been for the best."
"The art describes it as a weapon used against creatures of serpentine kind. We can as well bring it along, if more of the unnatural forces are found", Miriel says and takes the flail, adding it to her weapon collection. She straigtens her dress up, and heads to the unexamined parts of the complex. Passing Amiri, she answers smugly: "Still, it is not anger, even if I get a bit exited". She walks forward, muttering to herself :"Stay calm, Miriel. Don't let her trigger you."

Amiri rolls her eyes at Miriel's comment. Denial. The first step is always the hardest.

"There is no need for thanks. What is best for the tribe, I mean, for the party." Garn then turns to head back the passage with Snowball by this side.
Reaching the unnaturally dark room, Garn sniffs the air unconsciously, as if he can figure out the strange occurrence through scent. He picks up a loose pebble from the floor, summons light onto it and tosses it into the room.
