Wow, a whale carcass boat? That's a new one! LOL
"Aww, you boys don't want to spoil our fun, do you? We were having a WHALE of a good time! HAHAHA GET IT? A WHALE OF A GOOD TIME? HAHAHHAHA"
With her horrible joke out there in the world, never to return to the recesses of her brain, Ella charges the nearest loyalist with her rapier.
rapier: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Its actually just a move action to stand. so you would have a standard.
Acro: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (15) - 2 = 13
He stands up then casts a spell.
Forbid action attack on the guy in the back. DC 15 will.

![]() |

The halfling will move up and attempt to poke the baddie in front of him.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
1d6 ⇒ 4
Yelling out he will say to Ella, Would that the scorpion had taken your life if it would have saved us all from your bad comedy.

DM Kludde |

Ella rushes forward and PUNches through the defense of the nearest loyalist. Bastian regains his footing and moves forward, while Seinaru also scrambles back to his feet to cast a spell, while Benny remains on his feet, and pokes the injured sailor, finishing him off.

Can I have an action for Turak?

DM Kludde |

Can one of you post an action for him (i.e. bot him), so we don't get held up?

DM Kludde |

The bomb explodes right on top of the leader, who goes down in a sea of flames. The nearby aide is badly hurt as well, as a strange gurgling sound emerges from the belly of the whale.
Splash, RFX: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
A dead human, shambling emerges from the throat of the whale. Something seems to be stuck on its head, a nautilus-like creature, which seems to be controlling it.

Turak draws some of his vials and drinks one of them.
Then he makes a strategic back movement.
Be careful, buddies!
Move action = draws the extract; standard action = drinks the extract; 5-foot step back. Right?
Extract: Targeted Bomb Admixture
Sorry for being late, guys. Weekends are terrible for me to post, and last monday was holiday here in Brazil, the independence day, but now I'm back. =)

I think there is still an aide standing
Bastian moves towards the nearest enemy, striking with his hammer. Hopefully the group can dispatch the original enemy before being forced to deal with this new menace.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Damage: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

DM Kludde |

K(arcana) would be appropriate
Bennybeck tries to stab the remaining loyalist, but the rocking of the whale puts him off-target. Siival stands up as Seinaru casts a blessing over the party. Turak gets an extract out, and drinks it, while Bastian tries to make short work of the last aide, but takes longer than expected.
Scmitar, Bastian: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Kn. Arcana about the creature: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Tûrak steps forward and throws a targeted bomb in the shambling creature.
Rgd touch Atk + Point Blank Shot + Bless: 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 1 + 1 = 71d6 + 8 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 8 + 1 + 1 = 13

DM Kludde |

Ella recognises the nautilus-like creature as an Incutilis, a parasite of marine animals, that preys of the living and inhabits their bodies, controlling it like a puppet.
Turak throws his bomb, but another lurch makes him throw it off-target, as Benny and Bastian miss as well.
scatter: 1d8 ⇒ 5
The bomb explodes behind the aide, and burns him from the back. He faints from the heat. The shambling zombie and parasite are hurt as well in the rain of fire.

"The body is being controlled by that strange creature on its head... it's not actually an undead creature, so don't try to use your holy stuff on it. Just beat it down!"
With that, Ella tries again to stick the aide guy.
raiper: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4
crit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

I really look forward to getting that Agile weapon quality back on Ella here... she's pretty useless without it. That would have been 17 damage instead of 7... :(

DM Kludde |

Ella punches forward with her rapier, hitting the last aide in the heart. A little fountain of blood flows out of the man as he sags to the ground.
Siival's attack goes wide as Seinaru casts a protective spell.
The shambling creature now focuses on Ella, lashing out with a tentacle
Tentacle, Ella: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
The shambling man attacks as well, slamming wildly at the rapier-wielding woman.

Thank you for the information, Ella!
Tûraks throws a bomb directly in the creature of the top.
Rng touch Atk + PbS + Bless (Splash Ref DC 15 for 7 Dmg): 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 + 1 + 1 - 4 = 221d6 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
I'm considering that the creature is engaged in melee combat and the fact that Tûrak don't have precise shot, right?

can I move to flank with one of the rogues before the attack?

DM Kludde |

Though Bastian doesn't manage to hit the fleeing parasite, Silval's spear give a satisfying 'squish' sound as it pierces the shell of the creature, ending it as a threat.
Combat over!
With the boarding party gone, Poppo gives a warning Brace yourself, we're going to dive!
A shock, and the whale submerges, some water sloshing in. Fortunately, the animated creature holds, and moves past the navy blockade unseen, only to emerge near the Grinning Pixie.
Venture Captain Benarry’s surprised face breaks into a broad grin as the group emerges.
You lot had me worried! I watched the blockade closing in, and I was starting to think maybe I’d need to send in a retrieval team for you too. So, tell me, what happened in there?”
Congratulations, you've rescued Olandil and made it to the end. Please answer the VC's questions as I prepare chronicles and report.

"Oh my, that was quite the ordeal! And a whale for a boat! But anyway, we were able to get this guy out of the city in this here whale, though we were attacked as we were leaving and had to defend ourselves..."

DM Kludde |

That's a story straight for the chronicles! You better start writing something up soon, this is going to be a one.
Olandil, the venture-captain says I must apologize for the long duration of your stay in Pezzack. You must know that we tried our best to get you out. If what these pathfinders say is true, that your pondering leaving the society, then we are losing a great man.
Olandil answers an apology is in order. I will need time to reflect on this experience before I decide what my future with the Society will hold. However, you all saved my life, and for that, I am grateful. At the very least, I will complete my original mission, and share with you what I have learned of the situation in Cheliax, as it relates to establishing a foothold for a new Pathfinder Lodge, as well as everything I know about the current situation in Pezzack.
