The door leads into a short, dark, damp tunnel. 5ft further down, there is another door that hangs open to what could be a storeroom. Or a cave. It is difficult to tell as there are no torches in here. The walls do look more cavish, than constructed though. The soft surush of the sea can be heard through the cave system, and a small amount of light filters through from somewhere.
Jerjia Nimburhombus
Once everyone is ready for whatever they might find in there, Jerjia conjures up dancing lights and sends them into the room/cave.
Wits Fizzlewick
Wits peers about in the light of the arcane globes. "Seems harmless enough. Shall we try another door? Or do you wish to search for plunder and wealth? Not that goblins should be expected to place the same value on objects as civilized folk. More likely to find a rotten head or a dead bird in here."
Casey Jayne
Casey steps into the storage room. "Sounds like the sea is comin' from off in there somewhere." He points in the direction of the tunnel. "Think we ought to go down there first? Or do we need to go on through one of them there other doors?" He offers. "Don't really make none to me."
Jerjia Nimburhombus
"We're not looking for the sea, silly," Jerjia chides the gunslinger. "Wait ... are we? Why did the officer send us here again?"
Sir Herbert Atkins
Adonia kicks open the door with a crash, hard enough that it bangs shut again. Pushing it open slightly more cautiously, reveals that the walls of this room are lined with small wooden cages. Inside each cage is a dirty mound of straw.
There are no babies kept here currently

"Watch that corridor," Jerjia tells Casey, "and make sure nothing comes down it." Then she follows to see what door the paladin will kick in next.
Jerjia Nimburhombus
"That was the nursery by the way."
"That? Psssh! I wouldn't keep shocker lizards in such conditions," Jerjia retorts. "Of course, shocker lizards are much more dignified than goblins, aren't they, Sparky?" she asks the lizard running up her arm.
Sir Herbert Atkins
Adonia kicks open another door and reveals a shocking scene.
Dozens of ratty cushions, lumpy pillows, and rumpled dogskin furs lie heaped in the south half of this chamber, which smells of a nauseating mixture of vinegar and rotten flowers.
Closest to you, a large bugbear is pulling on his pants, and 4 goblin women take up the majority of the cushions. As the door bangs open, they all reach for their weapons.
Init please. You get to act in the surprise round. So could I have your surprise round action, and your first round action too?
Wits Fizzlewick
Init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Wits nearly gags at the sight of the goblin debauchery laid out in front of them. "What has been seen can never be unseen! Purge the image with fire!" He draws a flask in the surprise round, shakes it and adds a purple powder.
Round 1: Wits flings the bomb at the farthest female goblin, attempting to catch as many gobs in the blast as possible!

Reynard sweeps his crossbow towards the unexpected sight a laugh rising in his throat.
"Caught you with your pants down didn't we you bastard! Hope it was good cause that's the last you'll ever have."
He sends a bolt flying towrds the bugbear, ratcheting his crossbow to immediately send another to follw.

Round 1
"Our little bolt of lightning has a point. I don't wanna hit one of you. Bring 'em on out." Casey then readies to fire on the first one to come through.
Ready action. That's it. Oh and Nevynxxx, you keep spelling Adonai's name Adonia. I just figured I'd let you know. I think Adonai's a dude, but hey, far be it from me... :)

Init
Casey 21
Bugbear 20
Reynard 13
Witz 13
Adonai 12
Goblin Women: 7
Jerjia 4
As Casey moves and readies himself, Reynard fires off a pair of crossbow bolt at the bugbear, impacting it, and bringing a curse.
Witz moves forwards and throws a flask, hitting a goblin, and causing it to die in agony, the splash of chemicals also incapacitates two of the other goblins, as they roll around screeching in pain.
As the bugbear takes in the situation, Adonai moves to intercept it, it swings it's massive flail, and brings it crashing down on Adonai (causing 13HP of damage). Adonai returns the hit, swiping with his sword.
The goblin woman who remains standing panics, and does nothing.
Jerjia's bolt hits the bugbear, causing it to jump, and again yell out a curse. It's looking a little battered now, but still strong.
Round 2, Casey.
Adonai, you couldn't move and attack in the surprise round, so I'm reusing that second roll in round two. Oh, and yes; I have a bit of a mental block on that name. My laptop is now set to spell check the name correctly.....

Unable to get a clear shot at the bugbear, Casey will wait and see if it is able to make its way out the cramped room.
Will Delay until the bugbear gets out of the room. I guess I should say, IF it gets out of the room. ;)
Wits Fizzlewick
Wits frowns at the bugbear. "Morals aside, furball, what the heck would the children look like?!?" Wits shudders and throws his next bomb at the bugbear, using his expertise to exclude the paladin from the blast area (precise bomb!)
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 ranged touch into melee
Damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (6, 3) + 4 = 13 fire and 6 fire splash within 5 feet, excluding Adonai
Jerjia Nimburhombus
Anyone waiting on anything in particular?
Well, Jerjia's at the bottom of the round, init-wise; I'd like to see what the goblinettes are going to do. Casey's delaying until someone comes out of the room. And Adonai's out of town. In the meantime, though...
"Look, lawman," she calls to Adonai wickedly. "More goblin women for your harem."
Sir Herbert Atkins
Reynard's bolt thuds into the bugbear, and it clutches at the wound as it begins to bleed. It looks pretty hurt now.
Witz's bomb goes high and impacts the wall above the bugbear, bringing flaming chemicals showering down on it, and the Goblin next to it.
The injured goblins each pass out, and the last remaining standing Goblin launches forward at Adonai with a screech, doing 2 HP of damage.

Round 3
Casey notices Jerjia sitting down. Shrugging, he walks over next to her, leans against the wall, resting the butt of his rifle on the floor while holding the barrel end to keep it up. "So. You like zappin' people. What's it like havin' all that 'lectricity runnin' through ya?"
Move to S 16; Delay

As Casey steps out of the fight, the Bugbear levels a swipe with it's sword at Adonai, with a low grunt of pain. It finds a chink in Adonai's armour (Crit didn't confirm, 11 points of damage).
Bru(crit conf): atk: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18 DMG: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Reynard's bolt again finds it's target, and this time, it takes the bugbear by surprise. It lurches to one side, and falls unconscious to the floor.
The Goblin screeches as her lover falls.

Seeing the lawman fall to a heap, Casey moves into the room to see what has happened. Aiming his gun at the dead bugbear then turning on the goblins, "Alright gobbie woman. Get on outta here." Turning to the others, "Don't know what y'all wanna do with this gobbie woman and I don't care, but I'm sendin' her outta this room." Ignoring the goblin, he bends down to examine Adonai. "The lawman ain't dead yet." He relates. "Dangit lawman. Jerjia told you to bring 'em on out. Just like a lawman, wantin' to deal out justice himself. Maybe if all you lawman actually worked together, instead of trying to one up another, maybe you might catch a bad guy or two." During his rant, he digs through his pack and pulls out one of his potions. "I sure hate doin' this, but I ain't draggin' your full metal butt everywhere I go." He tells the unconscious paladin as he pours it down his throat.
Potion of clw: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Waiting a few moments to see if he comes to, and realizing he isn't going to, Casey slaps him on the cheek a few times. "Let's go, lawman! We ain't got all day! C'mon!" Slaps him again a few more times. "This kinda fun." He mentions with the straightest of faces. "Too bad we gotta wake 'im. You gonna owe me for these potions, lawman. Don't worry, I'll be sure to remind ya." He then removes the last of his potions and makes Adonai drink that one as well.
Potion of clw: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Seeing the lawman start to stir, Casey stands, "Get up, lawman. We ain't got time for you to be takin' no nap. And you owe me two bottles of the feel better drink. And I don't mean whiskey. Hold a minute, come to think of it, you might as well owe me that too." He deadpans as he steps out of the room, his gun propped on his shoulder.
Wits Fizzlewick
Wits still seems somewhat shocked by the implications of wild goblin-on-bugbear lovin'. He keeps making gestures with his hands, mumbling something about anatomical possibility. He joins the band as they move along, staring thoughtfully into space as he begins to murmur about implications of elasticity and expansion for his mutagen formulae.
