Apparently there was a power failure and the backups didn't kick in. They had to hard boot the database cluster...not an easy or fun thing to do.

We had some issues in our apartment building, so I had to find a new apartment for myself, my wife and our cat and to move in record time. I've managed to find a larger place with better internet connection for the same amount of money basically, so that turned out pretty well. I am rushing to bring things to some semblance of an order so that I can continue the game. Countless apologies for this interruption.
Ooooo a cat. Nice. Glad you ended up with a better deal from the resulting chaos.
Anyway no issues by me about the delays, things happens that needs to be taken care of.
I am out sick right now. I won't be posting very much till I get better.

Hey, just an update about my situation.
We've moved to a larger and better apartment, but after the move itself we've hit some difficulties. We're still waiting on a plumber and there are other snags to resolve and numerous small jobs to finish. There are still boxes to be unpacked, since we got our closets just yesterday. In addition to that, I had to get back to work. I think that I'll not be available for gaming during this week as well.

Glad you, your wife and the special darling cat are at least in your new home safely. The pain of unpacking, good luck there, if it does take over a year to complete.
Take your time. My life blew up, too, so it's not exactly hurting my feelings that I have one less game to worry about for now. :-)

Got this reply from nightflier. There definitely seems an issue between his country and Paizo, as many of us have no issues logging into Paizo.

Sorry for not replying before. Your mail went to spam and I haven't noticed it till today.
Anyway, I can not log on to Paizo. I've received an email from them about some work being done on the web site, but I haven't tried to log on since then. To be honest, I'm a bit burned out about the whole thing. High Duke tells me that he also can not access the boards, so it's pretty much obvious that either Paizo has a problem with our country or our country with Paizo. It's frustrating because the rest of the internet - including some rather obscure sites - works just fine.
While I'm writing this, I'm trying to log on, but unsuccessfully. Please re-post this in the Discussion Threads for Midnight and my other game.
I will probably ignore Paizo's boards from now on. I may try to find other pbp venue, but not for a time.

As a long time player in NF's games, I can tell you he has always had this issue, due to his country of residence. So I still have hope he can come back :)
