well... I'm expecting it mostly to be a game of stringent... THE BUTLER DID IT!!!

I highly expect the RP to be a major part, especially character interaction. although my character will rarely(if at all) in her anthro form, i expect others to start probing into each others backgrounds and likely have NPC do the same. perhaps one of Sitko's clients (one who knows what she is) gives away her secret...

Very much Murder Mystery dinner theater esque night.

Or a big game of Clue.

Also I did buy a Hat for Gentlemen Hubert, it is a top hat like in my picture.

Rp, Character, interaction, and like a game of clue. With more rp

Sovereign Court

my last post said Strigent, whatever that is... I meant like clue... stupid spellcheck...

oh, Sitko dos have a mace, mostly for self defense... you can't imagine all the creeps selling drugs attracts to you O_o

Grand Lodge

Weapons are fine. The idea is an impending sense of defenselessness. A mace for safety. A rapier to show rank in military. Al Longswords from habit and precaution. I just don't want a paladin showing up in full plate-mail and being a wall of steel between an opponent and the rest of the party. That's why I asked for little to no armor. I want to see you all succeed through cunning and wit rather than strength and skill at arms.

I'm an avid Agatha Christie reader and do picture most estate murder mysteries like this ;)

Semi-jokes aside, for ideas I can think of tense dinners, a ball, hunting 'accidents', lawn games, and ultimately getting stuck in sticky situations (like up a chimney!) with a maniac on the loose. I expect we will be lying our faces off, gossiping all the live-long day, snooping galore, and eavesdropping a-plenty.

(I'm the one who posted Shuni. Those pre-game posts on an alias are precious!)

Silver Crusade

I've got too much on my plate right now and so won't be submitting a character. Have fun

Naturally there will be an array of suspicious characters, all with secrets to conceal. Fine food and wine, a hint of romance in the air.

Then the shocking discovery of the victims body, the facade of respectability will begin to slip, dangerous secrets are close to being revealed. Tension rises...

Time for the great Investigator Bentley Winterstone II and his totally innocent, (Really not involved in the drug trade at all.) Partner Sitko to step forward bravely, bringing justice to the guilty with wit and style!

I thought I might share another character idea as well, this one with more of a martial bent, since I figured it might be good to round out the party with someone sturdy. Ari is a noble half-orc (you read that right) Lore Warden fighter, so still some knowledge skills to go with the ability to wreck face. I took average gold (175 x 2 = 350 gp). Either Ari (I'll set up an alias if selected) or Shuni is up for grabs.

Class Features

• Armor Proficiency: You are proficient in Light Armor.
• Weapon Proficiency: You are proficient with all Simple and Martial Weapons.
• Scholastic (Ex) (PFSFG 31): You gain 2 additional skill ranks each level. These ranks must be spent on Intelligence-based skills. All Intelligence-based skills are class skills.

This bonus to damage is increased to +3 with two-handed weapons, a one handed weapon using two hands, or a primary natural weapon that deals 1.5 strength damage. This bonus to damage is decreased to +1 if you are making an attack with an off-hand weapon or secondary natural weapon.
• Armor Proficiency, Light (Core 118): You are proficient wearing light armor.

Backstory:
Raimund Thornhild, the Baron of Veldspar, left Lastwall on a years-long crusade into Ustalav against a lich and brought back a half-orc child, Arianne, upon his return. This came as an shock to society, especially his son and heir, Rainer. Lord Raimund maintained that Arianne was legitimate and lavished upon her all the opportunities for training that her brother had enjoyed.

When Rainer succeeded their father, he sent Arianne to the university rather than into society. It was not long before the army, desperate for recruits, came knocking. Resigned to doing her duty for her country, she gave up her dream and began her life as a soldier, where she distinguished herself in matters of strength.

Rainer had long despaired of being able to add to their family fortunes by marrying off his half-sister until he received an invitation to Gildcrypt Manor from an old acquaintance, Lord Morningstar. He figured Varisians were a more tolerant people than most and coerced Arianne into making the trip.

Personality:
Arianne can get lost in her own thoughts; there’s no point in trying to even talk to her if she’s reading a book, as she often is. She becomes very excited if a topic of conversation interests her, particularly if it relates to mechanics or weapons, but is awkward around others otherwise. She is nice enough to people’s faces, if she can be drawn into opening up to them, but often resents them due to the sense of inferiority she feels. Having a task or mission to accomplish invigorates her, and she will pursue it to the best of her abilities. She has a strong sense of duty, which she often bemoans for the situations it gets her into.

Appearance:

6'2", 260lbs, 18 years old
Arianne is taller than most people, contributing to her unease amongst crowds. She bears a strong resemblance to her father, with a snub nose, arched eyebrows, widow’s peak hairline, and narrow chin. She wears her black hair short – less for enemies to grab – and tousled. Her fangs are small, and her skin is a light mint green. Her voice is low and raspy (and much given to swearing). She has dark eyes that are often narrowed in wariness.

Wow, hope I don't have too much competition :) I'd like to use Sitko at least once now...
I already have like four other concepts I really love but no-one ever picks... but then again, when life gives you lemons...(this was to revive the tread, don't take it seriously)

Grand Lodge

Well, tomorrow is the last day to submit or make changes. I'm really impressed with the entrys submitted and it will be a bit of a chalanged to pick just 5. Thanks you all for applying and here's hoping this game goes well enough to motivate me to make many more. Good luck everyone and I hope you all had fun!

Sorry, google drive has been acting up on me. I still have tomorrow to submit my character, right?

Grand Lodge

Of course. Ill say everyone still has 24 hours to submit or make changes. Think you can do it in that amount of time?

If its not too late, I've an idea for a bombastic, drunk, Lord with money troubles, making him bit paranoid. Probably a barbarian drunk/brawler archetype.

If you don't have enough and you fancy a character like that then I'll flesh it out,if its too late then no worries.

No, not a Lord, probably a Colonel, allows for more of a red face ...

pass the port..

I guess he is married to one of the Lords cousins, who was a sickly girl and left at home and therefore invited, or just a neighbour, invited along for the meal.

Would not have a weapon, other than his hands....

Have put this together not quite finished gotta check skill points and no gear yet ... Colonel Rutter .... some things need to be adjusted better, but you get the idea.

Colonel Rutter's backstory:

Dressed in rather old and uncleaned military gear, green and blue from the Andoran Freedom Force, a portly middle aged man with red cheeks, red veined nose and a brown bushy mustache. A bushy beard lets out a cough, his combed but unevenly cut hair shows a man down on his luck. Once he would have looked a fine spectacle on the parade ground, but now with no one to bully and push around, like his fearful subordinates; his life has fallen into the darkness of boredom, the poverty of debt and the solace of drink. His stories of war against the devils of Cheliax, have been repeated so often, the thrill of the tale and the telling have waned, though his audiences still seem to love them. They know him as a hero of those times, with medals of honor, a man to be respected for his achievements.

It was in Riddleport that he really came unstuck, his gambling took a turn for the worse, his debt now hangs around his neck like a noose, ready to constrict and bring the blackness of death. He who pulls the rope, could be found around any corner, he is aware, he won't let it happen, he will see them come first.

Standing, he picks the decanter and pours another port, a ceremonial sword hanging loosely at his side, His pocket bulges unnaturally, not that it contains anything now, but the shape is that of a bottle.

Invited to the Lord's party, once more he gets ready to recite his stories, like a poodle begging for food. But despite that, he might meet a widow of means, of wealth to stop the downward spiral, it could be his last chance.

The Lord, has asked Colonel Rutter to create a map of his Manor and grounds, so the Colonel has brought his tools with him. He brings a new pack of cards, should there be others wanting a game of chance and the odd wager.

.........

Sorry its not as well written as I would like but doing it in a bit of a rush to meet the deadline. Written as a bunch of ideas rather than a coherent background. I am hoping to round off the rough edges of the story/build in conjunction with the GM if picked.

In finishing off the build, I am looking at Intimidating Prowess, Masterwork map-making tools, a sword, not looking at any armor for the dinner, unless its an armored coat, which would not be worn but given to the Lords servants on entry to the mansion.

I know you said no combat, but he will be more inclined to intimidate information from any he should.... might take wisdom down to -9 and int up to 13 .... just in case, but it kind of works for his character. Might change one of the traits to Iron Liver ... fits his character.

Ohh... almost time to go to sleep now ... I'm in the UK you know ... :-)

It's easier and people don't have to put up with us in recruitment
