Toren's blade cuts through the bark-like growths of the gorilla and it drops to the ground. The monkeys on the fringe howl in frustration, but that is the only change in their cacophony. The half-elf on top of the pyramid joins their screams with his own.

good question... your the first I've played to miss the save... & I'm a little fuzzy about the 5.0 rules still.
Toren's skin takes on a wooden appearance. Not the rough bark-like appearance of the gorilla, but a polished, smooth surface with sigils carved into it.

Angruf takes some care and focus to loft a rope around a likely looking support, and uses the rope to support his attempt to scale the ziggurat.

Concentrating on the ropes and indents Angruf manages to climb halfway up the ziggurat.
the DC with a rope is a 5. I put this as a double move (-5) so you gain 20'.
Julien swings at the nearest opponent and belatedly realizes it is Toren. He somehow pulls back the swing and manages to miss the dwarf. Will save and attack played right into the RP :)
