Jimeno nods as Fireskorn comments on the atrocity of the altar.
"It is indeed, we should dismantle this and give the bodies eternal rest."

Jimeno, I remember reading something in the Acts of the First Crusades written by St. Simon du Montfort, when they arrived in Turkey, they were beset upon by skeletons and their pikes and lances did little damage. However their maces and other blunt weapons did full damage. Perhaps there is an extra mace her for you?

M Human unchained monk 8/paladin 6

As the adventurers are discussing the proper weapons to wield against skeletal undead, a monstrous, man-sized figure with multiple arms and an abominable combination of human and insect features appears out of thin air near the altar on the raised dais!

With a Chitter and clicking mandibles Nacht looks around to see beings around those similar to the beings from before. He holds his weapons in each arm One Longsword, Two Gladius', a Pick in the last had .

The mouth makes a weird sound like it is not comfortable to say. " Wo ist das? Es scheint hauptsächlich die gleichen. Wer bist du? " Pointing at the one closest to it.

Those who speak German:
" Where is this? It seems mostly the same. Who are you? "

Nacht narrows its piercing yellow eyes at the odd being and seems ready to defend itself not sure what the being said.

M Human unchained monk 8/paladin 6

Fray Manuel has heard recent rumors of a deformed "beetle-man" dwelling in the catacombs under Paris' Notre Dame Cathedral! This strange being certainly fits the description of the monster in the tavern tales and in catechisms sent among the churches....

Some reports claim the Beetle Man is a bloodthirsty monster, others an unfortunate and misunderstood orphan of the church who fights off other evils encroaching upon mankind from the ancient Underworld....

M Human cleric (cloistered cleric, evangelist, theologian) of Dominican 2 AC 13, touch 11, flat-footed 12 (+2 armor, +1 Dex) hp 15 (2d8+1) Fort +4, Ref +2, Will +6

The beetle-man, from what I remember, is said to have been underneath the catacombs in the city of Paris, in France. We were in Rome. Has something transpired? he tells his companions.

Grabbing his crucifix he will hold it aloft and attempt to calm down the creature.
In the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, will you have peace? he will say in French.

Nacht seems to reach to the French and eases up with its weapons but still stays at the ready. It looks around at the other beings but seems relatively reactive rather than aggressive.

" Si vous attaquez , je vais tuer. Qui êtes-vous? Où suis-je ? Je ne laisserai pas un être d'attaquer à nouveau . Êtes-vous comme les autres êtres ? Ceux qui sont envoyés pour tuer dragon? "

Its yellow eyes focus on the one speaking but list to the others.

Those who speak French:
" If you attack I will kill. Who are you? Where am I? I will not allow a being to attack again. Are you like other beings? Ones who are sent to kill Dragon? "

M Human cleric (cloistered cleric, evangelist, theologian) of Dominican 2 AC 13, touch 11, flat-footed 12 (+2 armor, +1 Dex) hp 15 (2d8+1) Fort +4, Ref +2, Will +6

I am Fray Manuel Jose Sanchez of the Order of Preachers, a Dominican. These are my companions. What is your relationship to and with the Dragon? in French

Nacht is no more swayed by the Preachers teachings than before and keeps its distance. It tenses up on the weapons as if to demonstrate uneasiness when it came to the Dragon.

" Vous répondez à ma question sur la première Prédicateur Dragon, avant de répondre à la vôtre. "

The eyes dont leave Manuel and you see a bit of mandible below some of the clothe anticipating your answer.

Those who speak French:
" You answer my question on the Dragon first Preacher, before I answer yours. "

The dragon is the enemy of all of the children of God. he replies in French.

Nacht is very wary but takes the words how they seem

" Groupe des êtres comme vous voulez tuer le dragon , donc je vais tuer le dragon de quitter souterrain. Avez-vous vu un Nécromant par ici ? "

It slowly drops its battle stance and begins to fold its arms within each other.

Those who speak French:
" Group of beings like you want to Kill the Dragon, So I will kill the Dragon to leave underground. Have you seen a Necromancer through here? "

M Human cleric (cloistered cleric, evangelist, theologian) of Dominican 2 AC 13, touch 11, flat-footed 12 (+2 armor, +1 Dex) hp 15 (2d8+1) Fort +4, Ref +2, Will +6

A Necromancer? No, but we have seen his handiwork. We dispatched several skeletons upon our entrance into the Catacombs of Priscilla.

Nacht nods looking back to the altar once more and then back Manuel. The information seems to agitate him the mandibles clack-click rapidly

" Hrmm , le Nécromancien a été ici aussi. Pourquoi vous avez été envoyé ici-bas ? Était-ce pour faire face à un Nécromancien ? "

Those who speak French:
" Hrmm, then the Necromancer has been here as well. Why were you sent down here? Was it to deal with a Necromancer? "[/b]

M Human cleric (cloistered cleric, evangelist, theologian) of Dominican 2 AC 13, touch 11, flat-footed 12 (+2 armor, +1 Dex) hp 15 (2d8+1) Fort +4, Ref +2, Will +6

We were sent to put a top to a cult of devil worshippers who lead an attack on an archbishop in St. Peter's Square.

Nacht looks at him and nods he then looks at where he came from narrowed his eyes and thought on the situation. Devil Worshipers, Heretic Necromancers, Dragons. The outside words was strange and had many.. experiences. All because of this altar he had come here as well. Well he wasnt sure. After the explanation Nacht tests something, he proceeds to stab at the altar once more... and then stick his hand through again in front of these other beings.

M Human unchained monk 8/paladin 6

Nacht vanishes....

Sweet! Welcome back, and as you've probably gathered, we will be continuing on the Paris threads.
