Chui and Harmini glance around but nothing sticks out. Alabaster though seems focused on something he has found in the sand on the floor. The little rock form begins to spin around and looks over at Harmini. It then flies over and rams into her leg, near the sting she took earlier.

It seems the little rock has found some tracks.

Ouch! Alabaster...

You clumsy little pile of floating rocks... What now?

Harmini looks around to see the tracks and figure out what Alabaster is trying to tell her.

This is great! I don't know whether to watch the Hot Girl-on-Mirror Action or the Girl-Floating Rocks Fight.

Chui saunters off to Harmini and Alabaster.

I turn at Elendra and I frown as I put her head in my hand.

I'm so sorry that this happened to but after this I promise you we will make it right. Sometimes in an adventure s~+$ like this is going to happen, but it sucks that it happened to you. That's why I'm supposed to be here, so nothing happens you you all. Still, we broke that mirror in 5 minutes and it must have taken months to make. Feel better?

Elendra starts covering the broken parts of the mirror with dirt from the floor.

We have two sets of double doors, one to the east and one to the west, both slightly ajar. I'm going to take a peak to see what's on either side of each of them, and then we can decide which way we want to go.

Starting with the eastern door, Chui carefully approaches it, checking for traps and trying to ascertain what might be on the other side. Then, when he is confident that the way is clear, he opens the doors only as much as is necessary to peer through and see what's on the other side.

Chui gently pushes on the door to open it, then sniffs the air.

Something to kill! I hope it squeals a lot as it bleeds out!

Chai slowly backs away from the door to quietly consult with the others.

Whispering There is something to the east probably a predator of some kind. I recommend that we take it out now. Elendra and Harmini each pull one half of the double doors fully open, and Wynrey charges in and sets me up for flanking, and then you all close your eyes to avoid getting blood splatter in them. OK?

My eyes start to sparkle and my smile beams from my face.

Brilliant! I'll run in and beat up whatever it is in there. If someone wants to eventually tell me what exactly I'm beating up, that would be great!

I pull out my sword and get ready to charge.

As I move into position I draw an ankh shaped piece of wood from my pack

Chai looks over at Wynrey and smiles one of his big toothy grins.

I like this girl, she's almost as psychotic as I am.

Harmini walks over to the door nonchalantly. She nods to Chui to inform him she's ready to enact his plan.

Better him than me. I hope he doesn't get too injured this time.

About to drive up to my wife's mother's place and will be offline until sometime tonight. Feel free to drive Chui if combat develops. I think I've pretty much described what he will do

If we want to open the door and pause when/if combat starts that works for me but I'm not the one opening the door, I'm just the one charging in. That's up to Elendra or Harmini.

I pull Rosa out of her carrier and let her out.

A short while later Rosa climbs back in her carrier.

Elendra throws open the door revealing the room beyond.

Pillars line the walls of this rectangular chamber, interspersed
with stone jackal heads extending from the walls. A stone altar,
covered in a layer of dust, sits at the eastern end of the room.
To the west, a set of stone double doors stands ajar.

Ahead you see a creature that looks similar to a spider crossed with a scorpion.

Please give me initiative rolls, except Wynrey who will being going first. This will begin with a surprise round, so remember only a standard or move action, not both.

Chui charges straight ahead and takes a swipe with one of his claws.

I'd like to move 5 or 6 squares straight ahead doing a surprise round charge and then attacking, hopefully getting my sneak attack damage

As the doors swing open I male sure i still have my ankh in hand

my first action is to use wand of bless and make a knowledge check if i can

Harmini and Elendra open the doors and Wynrey and Chui quickly rush in together.

Wynrey's strike cuts deep into the unknown bug and Chui is close behind.

Chui take your actions, surprise round still in effect.

Elendra, on your action after Chui, you can cast bless though depending on positioning it might not be a good idea (take a look once Chui moves). Also, you may make a knowledge (nature) check to identify.

I will be on the road back to RI for most of the day and I can't use roll20. I'll check in from time to time here but my default movement will be to stay flanking with Chui. Sorry that I didn't say that before.

I moved my icon on Roll20. I can't move Wynrey, but I assume that she is the square to the east of me, next to the altar

That sounds good to me if that is a legal charge square.

Chui charges after Wynrey and strikes hard. The bugs shell splits under his claws and the bug falls still with gore leaking out of it's wounds.

Chui and Wynrey, please give me PERCEPTION checks.

Did that seem odd to you Chui? You said this this was a predator, I thought it would be tougher than that...was this it's prey? Eyes open everyone!

I move over to the bug and look around for what I heard also keeping an eye on the ceiling.

Spiders, gross.

I ready an action to attack anything icky that I see.

Wynrey moves up carefully and sees a second bug hiding behind the table.

Wynrey, step up an swing if you wish.

Wynrey steps forward and swings her katana at the bug but the bug is quick and the blow cuts into the table instead.

Chui, your up.

Chui moves to the gap between the end of the table and the wall and swings a claw at the thing.

Chui tears into the second bug, claws cracking the shell of it's back. The bug turns toward him and raises his claws. It attacks both Chui and Wynrey but with no success.

Elendra, you're up.

As the burns on elendra's arms start to smolder a small flame appears in her hand. No sooner than it appears I hurl it at this disgusting bug.
casts Produce Flame.

Elendra throws the flame at the bug, but the bolt bursts on the back wall.

Harmini, your turn.

Yikes! Elendra should be more careful with that fire...

Elendra. Could you be a dear and try not to hit our more martially inclined friends? They seem to be doing just fine on their own.

Harmini pulls out a wand and takes cover behind one of the pillars, positioning it between Elendra and herself.
