Five foot diagonal step to get into flanking, icon moved.
Chui approaches rear of the creature on all fours and prepares to rip a huge hunk out of it with his canines.
SNARL
Damage (+sneak damage) 1d4 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + (1) + 1 = 5

The water cascades across the creature and Wynrey, soaking them. As the water absorbs into the snake its movements becomes stiffer and more labored.
Wynrey, your turn.

Maybe now that I have him grappled I can understand what he wants from us, meld with his mind.
Sense Motive: 1d20 ⇒ 1
Guys, we need to find his choco flower!
Maintain Grapple(bless+flanking): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
If that check is successful I would like to pin him
Talalmackk Chirronna
Wynrey, in the future make sure to account for the +5 bonus grapples if you are continuing the grapple.
Wynrey get's herself over the top of the snake and manages to press it to the floor. It is still struggling but has less leverage to do much more than that.
The thing is pinned Chui. Do what you want to it.
Talalmackk Chirronna
The snake is limp but the degrading of it's form stops. It seems unconscious but no longer dying.
Given that there is an ongoing spell effect, we can continue in rounds if you like as you move forward, or we can let it end and move to normal exploration. Your call.

Chui is already rinsing his mouth out with fermented goats blood, and he shakes his head furiously.
Kill the damn thing so it doesn't attack us on the way out!
He pulls out an arrow and prepares to use it as an improvised weapon to deliver a coup de grace to the damp, but not fully dead sand thing.

Chui moves carefully into the room alongside Wynrey, paying particular attention to the small tunnels going off to the north-west, north, and north-east.
By carefully, I mean taking 10 on Stealth checks and taking 20 on Perception checks
Once we're sure this space is clear, then we can check those double doors going off to the east
Talalmackk Chirronna
A flight of steps gradually descends to the west down this passage. Halfway down the stairs, small holes and burrowed tunnels riddle what remains of the passage’s southern wall. Earth and sand have spilled over the collapsed masonry, covering the stairs with dirt and rubble. Stone doors engraved with a golden scarab, its wings open beneath a golden sun, stand at either end of the stairs.
A quick search if the room turns up nothing of interested. After that search, Chui checks at the further doors but finds nothing of concern. The door is unlocked.
This expends two more rounds, so six rounds left of bless.

A tapestry hangs from a frame against the south wall of this large chamber; it depicts an otherworldly vista where the souls of the dead, shepherded by strange beings, enter an ethereal river ambling through space toward a landscape dominated by an impossibly tall spire. Columns sculpted in the shape of Osirian warriors wielding khopeshes stand in all four corners of the room. The floor is tiled in a white spiral pattern on a black background, and this spiral pattern is repeated on the stone double doors to the north, east, and west.

Chai whispers back to the rest of the party.
Some crazy symbols of Pharasma here on a tapestry, the floor, and the doors.
Don't know how much Chui knows. I find it interesting that the tomb has both symbols of Pharasma, a relatively new good in the context of Osirion, and Anubis, the ancient Osirian god of the dead. However, I don't know if this would occur to Chui.

Well that goes without saying, Chui. I didn't learn much at Fangwood, but I do know that "Gold keeps the wheels moving". Is this business, it seems that the more historical something is, the more people will pay for it.
Something isn't right. This tomb has been just a bunch of empty rooms! If this guy's grave is this big then he should have been loaded. There should be things in these rooms, crumbling fancy furniture, various religious stuff, his personal things, and instead we get a dead thief with old rope and a blocked outer door. Someone's been here and took everything from these outer rooms. Maybe they couldn't get everything and there is an untouched room or two. I hope so.

Harmini saunters into the room casually with Alabaster following along closely behind her. She takes a quick but clearly uninterested view of the surroundings.
So... Not much new going on here. The silly tapestry and symbols are likely just more Pharasmins' empty warnings. We should continue on.
So far this little excursion has been fruitless. I hope there's something more interesting further in.

I get the smell of fresh earth behind the door to the west. It seems slightly similar to the smell of earth I picked up outside the room where we fought the two spider-scorpions
Is it similar? It seemed to be described in similar terms
Neither door appears to be trapped, but both are locked. I recommend going west and dealing with whatever is there first, OK?
