I'm little unsure about the compass direction here. The door I came through is located on which wall - north, south, east, or west?
It appears to be the eastern wall with the tapestry on the wall directly opposite me. Is this correct?

I bet they wouldn't taste good. Let me sweep the room for traps. Does anyone know what kind of animals they are?

I'd like to do a take 20 perception check for traps at each door and another around the tapestry and pedestals, for a total of three such checks.

This should be hanging in a place where people can appreciate its history and artistry. As a Tosser, I believe it is our duty to remove this with the care that it deserves so that this guy's story can be told once more, whatever that story is. Seeing that Wynrey and Elendra have the looting covered, Chui listens and sniffs carefully at each door to see if he can detect anything on the other side.

Two Take 20 Perception checks, one at each door.

Wynrey and Elendra work to take the tapestry off the wall, carefully rolling it up to secure it.

Time for some sophisticated decision making

Chui pulls out a gold coin and tosses it into the air.

Chui moves over to the southern set of doors, slowly and carefully opens them, and slips through.

Still moving in careful mode, taking 10 on stealth and 20 on perception

Skipping the short hall to move things along. With stealth and perceptions being taken into consideration.

A massive mirror stretches across the southern wall of this chamber, flanked by two statues. The statue to the east depicts a tall, gaunt woman in a flowing, hooded gown, holding an hourglass. The figure to the west is that of a jackal-headed man carrying a scepter or staff in his hand. Stone double doors, standing slightly ajar, lead to the east and west. A third set of double doors exits the room to the north. Torch holders sculpted in the shape of bird skulls are built in each corner, and a thin layer of dust covers every surface.

Chui admires himself in the mirror for a second.

Hey, I look pretty hot!

He then moves five feet into the room and gestures back towards the others.

Some interesting stuff up here, anyone want to come up and see if they recognize these statues or detect any magic here.

Lots of dust everywhere so it doesn't look like anyone has been here recently, except maybe a flying mummy or four. However, the two sets of doors going out of this room aren't fully closed. So, I'll keep an eye on them while the rest of you live up to the Tossers' ideal.

So I see two people, me and this stern man, and I'm about to pounce? Am I about to pounce on the man? How do the other three look in mirror when they enter the room?

HISS, this is very weird. Take a look at yourselves in the mirror, what do you see? I'm seeing myself and some guy, and I'm acting odd.

Ok, let me take a look. Hey, why am I frowning? I don't like this thing at all. Is this girl me? Or is this some kind of evil Wynrey?

I smile and wave at everyone in the mirror.

Chui watches Wynrey smile and wave at the mirror and cries a little inside.

Chui turns to Elendra and asks . . .

So, WTF with the mirror? It looks like a trick, maybe even an illusion of some sort to me.

He then turns back to the mirror.

Looking all stern and disappointed are you old man? Won't look that way when you're clutching your throat trying to stop the spray from your carotid artery.

Depending on what Elendra's detect magic/spellcraft tells her, I'm preparing to move to within 10 feet of the mirror.

Harmini walks over to the mirror to take a look at what all the commotion is about.

What in the world is everyone blathering about... it's probably just a mirror.

She raises her hand and whispers a soft incantation to help identify it.

Detect Magic for 3 rounds.

Harmini steps up to see what is up with the mirror.

Elendra, please reroll the Spellcraft check you made. You rolled D2, not D20.

Bad news guys, it looks like my smile magic isn't working.

I turn away to look at the statues but I get startled by Chui's yell.

AHH!! Chui, whats wrong?

Anyone got a fast and convincing argument why I shouldn't break this mirror into a zillion pieces? Things that try to burn my head make me very cranky.

Chui, Chui, it's ok just think of the money. We can sell this thing to one of those rich idiot Kuthites and they will love it! It only hurts you if you stare at it so let's just leave it for now and when we are done we can rip it violently off the wall. Remember the money.

As Elendra continues to look in the mirror a mark begins to appear on her forehead. The hieroglyph is clearly ancient Osiriani, and it appears to be branded into her skin.

Harmini looks over at Elendra's forehead.

I slam my shield into the glass several times.

All in all, the worst mirror I've seen. You suck Arkhentai!

Chui sees Elendra and Wynrey working themselves up and grins to himself - "Oh, this should be good!"

Carefully not looking directly at the mirror, Chui takes a sip of fermented goat blood and watches the Elendra & Wynrey vs the Mirror show.

Wynrey and Elendra work on destroying the mirror, while Chui and Harmini look the other way.

Chui and Harmini, please give me survival checks now that the focus is not on the mirror and the statues.
