The Captain looks to you Kraull, and notions for you to toss him in jail. He than begins to cry.

Human Warrior 7 Captain of 2nd watch

My brother...passed away 3 years ago from health complications. We lost contact with Ricky about a year before that. I don’t know what changed in him, what influences got ahold of him?! I thank you for ending the threat to our humble little town. I will try to reach Ricky, but if he cannot be reached then he will die in jail for his heinous crimes. I will pray to Abadar every night

Well this is a strange turn of events. Two brothers on opposite sides of the law, the drama. I'm sure Rubin will get a good play out of this.

"Yo, that sounds good, but if he gets free and tries to kill us, you won't be seeing Ricky again, you dig?" Kraull says sternly as he stares down the man in the cell.

He brightens up after a second and looks at the Captain, "So, um, is there a reward from bringing in the leader of the Syndicate or whatever it's called?"

This is golden! Dynamite material!
Rubin scribbles furiously on his notepad, recording this new strange turn of events to add to his epic tale of adventure.

Reward...would you like your very own inn. I know the owner of our local Dragon’s Breath Inn was looking to retire, so I’m sure if I explain the situation he would hand the keys over to you keys to you folks for helping out our town. Chef, you could cook; Rubin you’d have a place to perform every night and big greenie, you’d be forever employees as the muscle.

not like anyone would pick a fight with you anyways

Well that sounds mighty generous! After all this craziness, I say that having at least a spot of retirement would be excellent! Who knows when adventure would call us into duty again!

*Cluck*

"Well, I was hoping for a more shiny reward than just one part of an inn, but I guess it's better than nothing." Kraull says with a wide shrug.

Not to worry big guy, you can always shake down the passed out drunkards and troublemakers.

JUst think! Steady paycheck and plenty of food and ale. Plus no more getting stabbed.(For the most part.)

Human Warrior 7 Captain of 2nd watch

You can have whatever coin Ricardo has or will have made as part of his racketeering crap

1 person marked this as a favorite.

True to his word, Captain Trone gets you the local inn as promised. Chef, you have a place to cook all of your own. Your food is exquisite, and Pluck is a happy (albeit fat) chicken sidekick. Your former boss comes in to congratulate Your hard work and bravery in aiding the town back when it was at its lowest point.

Rubin, you sing on stage whenever the mood strikes you. Your stories of stoic bravery, are shared by all you soak in your tales of fighting of the bad guys and thugs. A few local ladies swoon over you, and should you ever choose to “settle” down, you virtually have your choice of bride.

Kraull, you indeed rough up the locals when they have one too many ales from Chef’s collection. Plus, all the locals challenge you to arm wrestling contests every night. The standing wager is a night of drink from their buddies if they ever beat you. You are undefeated at 100 wins. It’s amazing how ale dumbs nes senses and reaction times...like you need any more help on top of your massive size.

The three of you, adventure whenever the “bug” bites you. Nothing too crazy happens, and you all seem to enjoy a moment of respite from being hunted and stabbed.

Captain Trone tries desperately to get Ricardo to atone for his crimes and demeanor, but alas is lost to the criminal aspect. He rots in jail, his pleas falling on the uncles deaf ears.

that wraps up the game. I have another idea in mind, so if interested keep an eye out for it in the coming weeks. Feedback is welcome if you wish to leave any and I will place the game on inactive in the next day or two. Thank you all for sticking with me/it and I hope you three had a good time

Chef is as happy as can be, but danger always lurks, ready to raise it's head and one day.

Hey fellas! There is this monster called The Ravenous Wattle Gobbler that is terrorizing a neighboring town, looks like the perfect job for us.

Great game and I have enjoyed playing with everyone! I eagerly await your announcement.

Now living the easy life, Kraull takes up powerlifting slabs of stones to avoid getting too fat, but he doesn't complain...too much.

Thanks for the game, it was great playing with you three guys! It's always good to play in something that goes all the way, I appreciate your dedication GM.

Rubin performs his variety show at the inn four nights a week, basking in his modicum of fame and enjoying Chef's gourmet fare. In time he installs new casks to triple the inn's beer-brewing capacity, but his bow-making skills remain sadly neglected.

Well done everyone. Good times!
