Hehe, not much has happened I just realized that I was spreading my character a little too thin. As much as a Gunslinging, alchemist ratfolk is neat it seems a little underpowered.
However as a Magus/Alchemist, she gets 7 bombs (instead of 4) and deals 1d6+7 per bomb. On top of gaining a mass amount of spells for things like shocking grasp. I can then focus her stats on a better build entirely instead of trying to have a Decent Dex, Int & Wis. I just cut wisdom out and focus solely on Dex and Int.
I also can focus on an armorless build which would neat concept wise. Swinging with her sword in one hand and tossing bombs or spells with the other~ ;)

Korina, Daughter of Yog-Sothoth |

I shall... remain with my build as it is. ^^ I'm quite looking forward to the eventual hordes of lovecraftian monsters I shall send sweeping over our foes!

Korina, Daughter of Yog-Sothoth |

I would seriously consider doing that. Can you imagine anything more horrifying for a demon than being gently and tenderly embraced by an alien aberration that cares nothing for good and evil, cannot be tempted, and is too powerful for them to stop? I mean, at least you can keep your pride if some overwhelming force of good beats you, but infernal monsters aren't the only frightening things in the cosmos...
...and this character is all about demonstrating that. XD

Chi_ |

Korina Thats awesome! I can't wait to see a Balor being pinned by a tentacle horror! xD
=========================]
Hehe well the revamp for Chu is going well. She will make a lot more sense mechanically. I also realized my race build needed a little TLC still, blargh.
I'm too new with gunslingers to take a chance with them atm, I thought I could but I honestly didn't see the potential for a strong enough character in later battles. Hence why I thought magus would be more fitting at least then I wouldn't drag the group down. =/

Korina, Daughter of Yog-Sothoth |

Oh, that's hardly the only thing I've got plans for... *Cackles madly*
That said, I really will need to pick up something at some point that will let me exclude allies from the effects of my summons. XD; They're sort of mind-breakingly weird at times, and I don't want to force my friends to make saving throws just so I can have weird buddies out...

Chi_ |

WEll found a Gunslinger arch that'll work better Mechanist, I can use Int instead of Wisdom for Grit. Which is awesome. So just need to add that and Chi will be mosty the same. It ruins the gulchgunner and musket masters so I become a Mechanist/Pistolere insteda. :/

Chi_ |

Definitely~ its took seeking some advice in the forums and a gunslinger/alchemist has some decent combos that I didnt see at all. Granted Magus/alchemist is sick too lol, all those spells...
Gunslinger Wizard isn't a bad combo either~
However Mechanus solves my problems very well ♡♥♡. So far her new stats will be 12, 22, 12, 22, 12, 12. Which all around she will have +1 minimum and +6 in primary stats.
So 7 bombs at 1d6+6 dmg per day and 6 grit. :)
Grenadier allows me to even aim my gunslinger explosive rounds when I fire them since they are still considered a bomb.
Now that I found some decent combos and understand the inner workings more its coming together nicely~ ty for the help Korina. :D
Mechanist makes a nice anti mage gunslinger at higher lvls so thats not to bad. I am sad to drop the musket master and gulch gunner but thats the sacrifice for a nice synergy like this. :)
Now with her high int and low wisdom I can keep playing her like a bubbly airhead lol. Should have it finished up sometime today / tomorrow~

I have everything from kingmaker until now lol. I have two little boys and plan on gaming with them when they are older. :)
Really liking my new revision of Chi still working out the bugs but she is coming along nice.
Hopefully our dm is okay. :/ I have high hopes for this game~

Chi_ |

Really like the treesinger archetype for elves from the ARG. Its weird that the druid loses its wild empathy with animals in exchange for plant wild empathy.
But starting with a Treant companion. Which becomes large @ 4th level is awesome. Like really cool~

Korina, Daughter of Yog-Sothoth |

That does sound quite lucky. XD Still, good books are worth it... though I tend to focus on the inspiration side of things. I rarely find games that truly match what I'd like to do, so I end up GM'ing them instead...

Chi_ |

Hehe I am in total agreement with you there.
The campaign I had Feldan in and a game here on the boards with my dragonrider Min are some of the few games that I was so involved and inspired that I was completely happy to just be a player. There have been others that come close but there is just somethin missing. That spark that makes the game so unique I dont feel the need to tweak it.
I have my homebrew game Skyfall but lately the players have all but fallen offsave for one. That one eas a unique game that I have carried forward from 2nd edition. I really wish there were more people (who weren't scary creepy) to form gaming groups where I live. :/

Korina, Daughter of Yog-Sothoth |

*Rubs chin* Hmm... What if we just ran this game ourselves, with two of us trading off as GMs every now and then and our characters rotating in and out of the adventure? I have the first five books (didn't like what I heard about the sixth... geh), and that might give us a way to play these characters and, at least, have the game move.
Edit: Oooooor she gets back minutes after I say something like this. Muwahahahahahaha! Works every time.

Chi_ |

True, but I admit some are easier to 'get into' mentally then others. Jade regent is one I really want ti like but the story throughs me some. The caravan rules are neat and the relationship boon/negative was a neat concept too.
However Kingmaker reminded me so much of my first characters that it was an instant favorite for me.
I had been building a expansion into Numeria and/or Iobaria.
Iobaria is a rough place! If you've never read about it it is literally a land that hates cities. Disease destroys people who stay in one place and spreads like plague in densely populated areas.
So I considered a centaur monstrous nomadic party for thst kingmaker. ;)
All centaur party.... or the 3pp Lapith would be really fun!
Numeria is now changed but still very cool place to Invade. >:)

Korina, Daughter of Yog-Sothoth |

I got in once, with a character I was quite hoping to play. We, er, didn't get past the first encounter. XD; Quite a shame; Fes would've been fun to play.

Chi_ |

Hell Yeah all Centaur / Lapith party would be awesome! xD
Still writing up the Black Lands - Iobaria.
It's an adventure that starts with the characters being residents or an outside party, come to Iobaria to unite the land (as residents) / create a new kingdom out of the ashes of the forgotten and abandoned lands.
Ideas of Residents -
Nomen Centaurs -
A tribe of nomadic Centaurs whose culture was shattered by the invasion of the Taldoran empire generations before. The Centaurs are being forced out of the Stolen Lands by the expansion of a new kingdom their (Kingmaker!) Forced into a corner and negotiations breaking down they do what no one expects. Return to the hinterlands of Iobaria, the land of the Linnorm Kings and begin a campaign of expansion and soldifying their borders. Building alliances with old allies and tribes and/or subjugating any who refuse to join them.
The Black Rebellion! Regicide of the Prince of Orlov! -
Years of suffering has led to strong seeds of rebellion and after the leaders of the rebel cell are executed by the Prince of Orlov for Sedition the city is driven into a corner. It's citizens are forced to make a tough choice, continue suffering quietly like sheep or rise up and bather the streets in the blood of the corrupt! Starting with that DAMNED PRINCE! FOR ORLOV! FOR FREEDOM!
However taking control of Orlov leads to complications they didn't foresee. The Prince had some allies, many of which would love to have Orlov as their own. A prime coastal town as their own brings the greedy armies and assassins of many to their doorstep. What choice did they have but to fight back!
That is the start at least! ;D

I have planned out some of the Centaurs expansion/invasion, utilized the same NPC's from Kingmaker (for simplicity and to stay somewhat Cannon~). I have a few encounters made up and a number of possible "Paths" for the party to take. The encounter table is what always fudges me up. :/
The Black Rebellion is a run and gun urban adventure at first. I have several encounters made for that one. A lot can happen in the city adventure. Created a number of NPC's, including the would be Aristocrat to be killed. >:) Execution, thrown out a window or killed in combat. No Matter! However beyond the initial over throw I haven't got much more planned yet. Both of them slow a bit before the actual establishment of territory/kingdom building.
I enjoy writing adventures, one of my favs outside of Paizo is Red Hand Of Doom. Classic AND Awesome! :D

Korina, Daughter of Yog-Sothoth |

Yeah, adventures can be pretty fun. For myself, I'm slowly working on an NPC codex... and I'm just a wee bit ambitious on this one. XD A character of every alignment, for every class, at every level. Should be quite useful anytime I need to just pull out a character for a story.

Chi_ |

Me too, I have all the old character sheets from my 1st edition until present games. Lots of conversions needed to make it pathfinder but some would be awesome.
I have the Legendary Ron Bacardi, 1st edition cavalier sheet lol.
18/00 str translated into 24 str by 3.X conversion material xD. So he was lvl 6 which converted to lvl 12 by 3.X standards.
So level 12 Cavalier, with 24 str before magic items. Heheh... Insane charge damage with that one. So much work...
_________________________________________________________________________
With my comp issues lately I have been working on my Kingmaker: Iobaria adventure more and its coming out nicely. It has the ability to be a Way of the Wicked like Campaign. Evil characters, seizing control of a weak and isolate country that no one really cares about...
Except for those that live there of course. >:)
Evil Demi-Humans/Monstrous Humanoids are an option for characters as well. Such as Hobgoblins and Bugbears. I even located some interesting bits on a buried Serpentfolk vault. I know SPOILERS! But research this fruitful is fun.
There is the presence of Cyclopian architecture as well. Making a lot of places very friendly to invading centaurs and larger monstrous humanoids. Mwahahah.
Erhem So yeah fun times to be had.
I am also working on my current Homebrew Skyfall as well. Hopeing my group picks up some and moves the story forward before I have to DMNPC the rolls, way more anticlimactic then I want to be. :(

Korina, Daughter of Yog-Sothoth |

Ah, what the heck. = w= If I can't find someone to DM this game for me, then I bloody well will run the darn thing myself. Priority to players from here (new characters, similar build rules), and I'll be... trying some things. Recruitment thread will be up eventually, maybe later today - though I'll have to turn this campaign inactive to make the room. Oh well.

I'm here, but you got lucky; I've only been looking at this place about twice a month after nothing happened for a while.
Though this should be dead, I want to give it one more chance and slay some demons! Also, what happened to Korina now?
