As they sit there together, her mind keeps wondering back to the previous events and how badly she lost control. She can't seem to stop thinking about it and how she could have really hurt her friends. Will I ever feel normal again? What's normal and how can I be sure I won't completely lose it the next time we're in a fight? I love these people, especially Tikkle and I will NEVER forgive myself if they get hurt because of me. She just sits quietly beside Tikkle as she contemplates things and doesn't even seem to notice when she starts shaking.

Tikkle, not really knowing what to do, just holds her as he eats and converses with the other sailors.

As he slips an arm around her, her body seems to relax and she lays her head against his shoulder as he talks with his mates.

Flynt
Flynt stays in with Terra and just spends what time he can with her. Moments like this were rare. As the sun rises, Flynt wakes up and dresses without alerting her and heads out to greet the day on deck.

Tikkle slips out of bed long before Gashka will awake and goes to do his least favorite part of being a captain.
As the others awake and emerge, they see the man who'd made the fuss the night before tied to the foremast, ten new stripes on his back. Tikkle is with Jeggs in the crow's nest, sulking a bit.
When Chris begins his assigned duty, an Elven officer approaches him. "You're the healer, yes? Captain's orders, you are to see that that man's wounds do not become infected, but you are to be careful not to ease his pain in the least."

Gashka couldn't eat the night before and even though Tikkle held her in her arms, she couldn't get the disturbing images of what they had seen a few days ago out of her head. It took her a long time to finally fall asleep as she laid in his arms. It was difficult for her to process what she saw that morning. Shaking her head she looks up at Tikkle and sighs. Just for creating a slight ruckus? Really? He'd created more of a commotion after a night of drinking than thst guy did and all he ever got from papa was the disapproving look and lectures about being responsible. I'm sure they knew how I felt about him, even back then. I better go see if he's alright. Gashka goes to where the crows nest is and covers her eyes as she looks up and calls out to her furry pirate, "Oy! Tikkle I need to talk to you. Are you gonna come down, or am I gonna come up after you?" She puts her hands on her hips in normal Gashka fashion as she waits for his reply.

He rolls out of the perch, freefalling until slowing his landing with some rigging at the last second. Landing in front of Gashka, he starts. "I know what you're going to say, love, but yes, I had to. My crew is the best. We work with precise teamwork and we're the fastest crew on the seas for it. But certain things have to be punished harder. He stirred up trouble for weeks, and striking a mate bears a lashing. Even I've paid that one once or twice. He'll live."

She shakes her head, "No, just your average scally wag trouble maker."
Looking back at Tikkle she says, "Look I only saw the incident last night and if you say he had it coming then so be it. I just.....you're just so damn silly sometimes you know that? I'm sure he'll be fine but, you're the one I'm worried about. Don't think I missed the look on your face. I know you Tikkle Ashcoat, so why don't you quit the pretense and talk to me. Tell me what's actually going on inside that furry head of yours." She looks up into his eyes as she gently carreses his cheek.

She looks away for a moment as she stares down at her feet, "Can we just......can we go talk for a minute? There's something that's been bothering me and I think I need to talk to you about it." Her thoughts going back to when she lost control she keeps her head down, afraid that if she looked up he would see right through her.

Chris pulls out a bottle of antiseptic. Easy enough, I suppose. The witch let go of the moral quandary for now. If this became the norm though, he would have to say something.

Not really waiting on a reply from Tikkle and without looking up she says, "Uh...excuse us Flynt, we gotta go talk about something." Taking one of his paws she gives his arm a slight tug as she pulls him away from their friends and heads somewhere a little more private for this conversation.
She leads him back across the deck to his cabin and inside. Turning the lock on the door so they won't be disturbed, she finally turns around and goes to sit on his bed. Taking a deep breath she starts, "Okay...so, I know that there's been a lot going on lately that has been really messed up and we're all under an incredible amount of stress to find and rip apart this guy, or guys...whatever the case may be. It has become painfully obvious to me that I am having more and more trouble controlling the rage that I feel during battle....and I don't ever want to do anything to hurt any of you." She pauses for a moment, "I know you want to tell me that it wasn't a big deal....but it could have been. I need you to do something for me Tikkle because I never want to take another risk like that again. Next time we're in a fight like that and I lose control....don't wait until I've hurt someone that we care about...when you see me lose it, do whatever you have to in order to get me away from you and the others. If that means having Terra open up a pit under me until I've calmed down, then so be it....but, I just wouldn't ever be able to forgive myself if I seriously hurt....one of you....any of you. Please Tikkle, tell me you'll do this for me." The last part comes out in a hoarse whisper as she tries to hold back the well of emotion she has been wrestling with since they got back.

To get things moving a bit at least.
The Wild Cat sails for the moving island without incident. After two more days of sailing the mysterious island comes into view. And what a sight to behold it was, for while there was rich vegetation, it was also very clearly growing out of obsidian. A phenomenon that had many of the crew scratching their heads.
Tikkle
"Gashka. You know I'd die for you. I won't let you hurt any of us, but I know I won't have to. Look me in the eyes and listen, I know you could never hurt me. No matter how crazy you get, that bug heart of yours won't let you hurt someone who doesn't deserve it. You don't scare me at all." Tikkle holds her shoulders as he speaks, and then embraces her.
Later...
Tikkle smells the air. "Beautiful as it is, I don't like this. It's not natural, and not natural seems to get my crew killed." His tail swishes back and forth in an agitated manner.

The Talk
She sighs, a bit frustrated that he wasn't apparently understanding what she meant or what she wanted. Here lately when she started raging there was a part of her that lost total control and that last fight proved how dangerous she could be to her friends. She shakes her head as he holds her before looking up at him, "I feel like you're not hearing me. I'm not trying to scare you Tikkle, I'm trying to be realistic. I almost completely lost it back there, or don't you remember that? True, no one got seriously injured...this time, but that doesn't mean that it won't happen again and if it does I don't want to risk the people I care about damn it. I feel like...in combat I'm starting to lose control of myself and it has nothing to do with my heart Tikkle. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? The way I feel about people will matter very little if I lose my f%+~ing mind." She didn't want to sound harsh, but that was just the reality of the situation as she saw it.
Back on Mystery Island....
She sighs as she looks from the others to Tikkle, "Well...we're here now, so there's no point in going back is there? So, we gonna find a place to anchor your boat and go ashore or what?"

Chris looks into Tehanna's eyes. "Periculosum est conscius sum, sed ego et si ingruerit contra auxilium molestus esse."
Chris then turns back to the strange island.

Vallterra
Terra made her way on deck. she had been spending most of the journey below decks. her main company has been Flynt.
Despite how often she said she was fine Flynt knew she wasn't. she seemed sick the whole way.
she kept saying I hate ship and the ocean.
Terra has been seasick most of the journey, she is finally getting her "sea-legs" when they arrived at the island.
[ooc]how close is the ship to the island? and can terra determine how deep the water is?
Gashka
She sighs, "Well....then if we're gonna go, then I say we go and find whatever the hell it is we're looking for and get the hell offa that rock as soon as possible. I've had enough of all this strange bullshit we've been through already, I don't wanna add crazy convergence points and getting lost somewhere like this to the list of things we've already dealt with."
GM Scary Ceiling Voice
With an order from Tikkle, the ship was navigated to what appeared to be the beach. With a long coil of sturdy rope tied to the ship, the group set forth on one of the rowboats towards the shore. After landing, Terra quickly determined which outcropping of rock to safely secure the line.
Tikkle
Tikkle checks the hitch on the tether and signals his crew. "Thanks T, it's nice not having to make guesswork. You and Flynt come with me to check our immediate surroundings and then we'll set off." Two non-sight senses and the best perception, I figure that makes sense. After a second, Tikkle adds "Jin, you too, with the magicky eyes."
As they gather, he pulls out the map to check if maybe it changes when actually on the island.
Vallterra
Terra is very happy to be getting on land.
Once they reach shore Terra lays on the ground feeling the solid earth beneath her. for a second she seems to sink into the earth but she soon come back to the surface.
as she lays there she feels everything around her, sensing as much as she can of the group's immediate surroundings.
Gashka
Gashka just raises an eyebrow at him, "And what makes you think for one damn minute I'm just gonna let you go walking off into Gods know what kind of shit? If you think for one second that I'm just gonna stand here on this crazy walk and let you take off, you better rethink things in that furry head of yours. I don't think we should splitting up right now, there's no telling what's on this island besides us. Either we all go, or get the hell back on the ship and go home and forget about this damn place." She says with her hands on her hips.
Tikkle
"Whoa easy there. We're not leaving the beach, just a few feet so we know nothing's waiting on us hidden somewhere here. We'll all head out together once we're set."
Tikkle breathes for a moment and goes through the process for a landing party taught to him some years ago. Okay Tikkle, Three sets of three. Don't get anyone killed.
One: Ship. Is she vulnerable, will the crew stay, and how quickly can we get back to her?
Two: Landing Area. How far to the tree line, check for traps and hides, and make sure we can find it again.
Three: Locale. Are there structures, how dense is the vegetation, What can we get from here?
"That last one's a dead ringer here" He whispers to himself.
He takes Flynt, Terra, and Jin to step off a safe zone and check the tree line.
Would be a good time to know what our surroundings look like roughly.
"Oh and by the way, mates, as I figured the map is working different on the island. Take a look." See the earlier spoiler for me.
