A hatch opens from below deck and Tikkle exits along with several of his officers. He motions to his friends as he enters his own cabin and the officers go back to their duties.

Flynt, arm around Terra follows into the cabin.
Christophe gives Tehanna a peck on the cheek. "Si enim non abiero hodie tunc forte possis. Si opus est, ego te vidi ante nos in navi."
He then heads towards Tikkle's cabin.
"Not sure, Tikkle might know." Anyka responds. Glancing over at Jin, her trademark smirk vanishes for a moment replaced with genuine concern. "Everything ok?"
Jin nods. "We've got ourselves a new stalker... well new for you I guess."
"Crazy b%#~% gone full crazy?"
Jin nods. "Exactly, even stole some magical items from the vaults so at least it'll be interesting."
Running a hand through her hair she takes a deep breath, mentally adding Jin's ex to the list of relatively immediate high threat level dangers she had to deal with.
Locking eyes with Jin she flashes him a smile. "Never boring." she whispers.
As Christophe heads towards Tikkles cabin, Tehanna headed to her room. Once inside she opened both books and began committing the language to memory while studying the spellbook.
While he waited for Tikkle to begin, Chris pets Renard on his lap, thinking about Tehanna.

Once everyone gathers in the cabin Gashka looks directly at Tikkle, "So, what's all this about? It sounded like you had something important to talk about with us."

"okay, mates. You all got scattered about before I could talk to you this morning, but I had a visitor last night. A messenger came aboard with instructions to find me on that specific night, on my ship. According to the note inside the package he had for me," Tikkle pulls out the now blank paper. "which apparently erased itself, it was sent by Asho. Somehow, when Ash left last night, he got sent some centuries into the past. He found this amulet, said it would help us against the Piper. Also, he said there's one more gift at the ruins outside of town." Tikkle spins the amulet on his finger as he tries to follow his train of thought.
"About the Birds, apparently its this they dont like. Something unnatural about it according to those fruity types at the druid grove..."

"Say again? I think I have some crazy in my ear. Ash in the past? How?"
Gashka just sits there for a few minutes, her mouth just kind of hanging open before she shakes her head trying to understand what he's talking about.
"So....wh...wait a minute what? I'm not sure I'm understanding...."
"I dunno. Maybe we just have an unconventional angel watching over us..."

Chris keeps quiet.
Looking at Tikkle she tries to take in everything he's saying it and process it as well as she can. "Soooo by "fruity types" you wouldn't be referring to the druid I met in that grove would you? Are you sure
it's the amulet affecting the birds?" She stops and takes a breath, "Sorry, I guess I'm just a little confused by all of this."
Jin narrows his eyes. "Time travel is serious business, and he certainly didn't do it on his own. So who sent him and why?"

Terra is quiet at first trying to make sense of all of this..
Sooo, how exactly will this amulet help us? and what can we expect to find in these ruins.
then before she goes much further, her brain starts churning (is that smoke coming from Terra?)
If Ash was sent to the past, maybe, those ruins are actually his old home.
Gashka remains quiet, not knowing quite what to think or say at this point.
"Probably, Gashka. There were four and they were weird. But they seemed pretty knowledgeable and were confident that this thing was what the birds are on about. And yeah, Terra, I don't know how old those ruins are, but the note said several hundred years, they were probably significantly newer when he saw them." Tikkle screwed his face up as he tried to remember the end of the note.

"So what's so special about this amulet? How does it help against the piper?"
She sighs and holds out her hand, "Could I see the note love? If you tried to show someone that wasn't supposed to see it....it could be some kind of spell or something....I don't know..." Not able to sit still anymore she gets up and starts pacing about the cabin.
"sure, here." Tikkle hands the note to Gashka.

"Yeesh. Those birds give me the heebidie jeebidies on a normal day, This is just downright unnerving..." Jeggs walks into the room, closing the door behind him. With a nod from his Captain, he opens a small cupboard and produces a bottle of cognac, from which he pours a glass for himself, Tikkle, and anyone else who wants it.
Gashka takes a look at the piece of paper.

Anyka listens, thinking as ideas are thrown out. "Good point Terra, he may have personally hidden whatever is in those ruins for us to find."
As Gashka suggests a hidden message she nods. "Yeah, there's both magical and non-magical ways to conceal a message to look like blank paper."

Gashka nods and simply holds out a hand to Jeggs in the shape of a cup.
"This is too weird to not have a drink." Flynt beckons for a glass as well.
As Gashka opened the note, all she could see was a blank piece of paper.
She hands the note to Jinn, maybe he could figure out what it meant. Out of all of them, she thought Jinn should be able to figure out if the note was indeed magicked or not. Taking the drink from Jeggs she slams it back in one quick motion. Nodding her thanks to Jeggs she looks back at Tikkle, "So...what did the druids say about the ruins? I think before we just go running off all crazy like we should try and make sure we have as much information as possible." Sighing she says, "Those "fruity types" as you called them love.....if they have been around for a while they might know a lot more about this area than we do at this point." Looking around at everyone she says, "I don't know about the rest of you.....but I'm getting damn sick and tired of rushing headlong into something....to only end up in another of the stupid pipers traps. If Asho ended up back there....however he ended up there is irrelevant, but if this amulet came from him it must be important." Looking from the others back to Tikkle she says, "If it's alright with everyone Id like to go back to the grove for just a minute and speak with the druids myself about this matter. Maybe see if they can get us a map or something else useful to help us? I could take Chevalier and be there and back in a flash.....but, I won't go unless it's alright with everyone." She looks around and wonders if anything else was gonna happen to complicate things the way it usually did, or if they would actually be able to get something done about this whole mess. She keeps her thoughts to herself about that though, no need to cause a panic right? She still needed to talk to Tikkle and Tehanna as well. Depending on how far away these ruins were it might take a while to get there and they may or may not need the cart. If they did need the cart she would have to talk to them both sooner rather than later. For now she just sits there and waits to see what the others think about her idea.

She nods, a slight smirk on her face. "Well....I figured someone would end up saying something like that. My idea was get there and back with whatever insight or help I could gain from them as quickly as possible. That means riding pretty fast and whoever came would have to either be at least a decent rider so they don't fall, or be able to keep up with a horse....." At this she slides a glance towards Terra and grins, "If those are everyone's conditions though....Ill abide by them." Getting up she goes to Tikkle and wraps her arms around him while standing on her tiptoes to look into his face. "I would have you with me....but, I just don't think it a good idea for you go back to the grove right now. With everything you said, maybe it would be better for you to wait here? Maybe start getting some supplies ready?" Hoping she didn't hurt his feelings, she leans in slightly to give him one of her sweet light kisses before waiting to see what the rest of them, as well as Tikkle had to say, though she could almost guess. Smiling a bit impishly she lets go of him and turns to take her seat again.

She smiles and continues, justifying her commitment to go.

Terra looks to Flynt, No you cannot ride me...right now, maybe later. she says with a wink.
"Then I will go check on Tehanna," Chris says, setting Renard on the floor and standing up.
Terra looks to Gashka, I'll go.
She smiles and continues, justifying her commitment to go.

Gashka just shakes her head and grins as she looks at Terra, "Of course you can silly, whyda think I was lookin atcha?" She gives her sister a wink.
Looking at Flynt she says, "Okay then. I shoulda known better than to think any of you would have let me gone by myself anyways. Chris...I hate to ask this of you....but, could you let Tehanna know we're taking Chevalier out again? I wouldn't ask but...." She sort of shrugs, "It's kinda important that we gather as much information as we can in a short amount of time."
Then looking over at Jin and Anyka she asks, "What do you guys think? Would that be alright?"
Terra looks to Flynt, No you cannot ride me...right now, maybe later. she says with a wink.

At Terra's comment Gashka just sorta slaps to hand to her forehead and groans slightly, "Eewwww Terra...really? You just had to say that right this second?" She shakes her head trying to control the fits of laughter she feels bubbling up inside of her. Looking at Flynt she gives him a smirk and tries to say something but all she can get out is, "Damn...." before she gives in to the horrible fit of giggles that seems to take her over.
After a few minutes she seems to get herself back under control."Alrighty then...Jeggs, keep that bottle available...I'll probably need another shot once we're back....especially if those freaky birds don't go away soon."
She takes a couple deep breaths to try and calm her mind and not think bad thoughts. They needed to get serious and quick, so she didn't have time to picture things she really really didn't want to have images of in her head....namely her little sister riding....no no no....stop it. She suddenly smacks herself in the leg to stop herself from thinking about it any further.
Looking over at Terra she gives her an impish smirk, "Thanks a lot sis..."
"I will."
