♂ N Half-Orc Hunter 4
Nemesis is a Bonus feat you don't get any bonus from it yet though. Every level after this you get both a HP and a Skill Point.
You have reactionary as a trait you get one more now that we're adults.
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Sorry, I get lost easily. Okay, I picked the two benefits for the nemesis thing, and I took reactionary as a trait. I didn't think we got more than one trait?
♂ N Half-Orc Hunter 4
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Okay, now I'm completely lost. That's not how it seemed to me when I read it. I thought Nemesis was a story trait thingy, not a feat. So, okay. I think I'll let GM decide because clearly I completely misunderstood what he was doing with that whole thing.
I'll try to pick out another trait, but it'll take me a minute.
Aarrggghhhhh.....too much stuff!!! My simple minded female head can't handle it!
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Okay...okay, I'm calm now. So, would I be correct in assuming that because Reactionary is from the combat trait list, this other trait has to come from somewhere else? Like, I can't have 2 traits from the same list right?
Male Trapper/Guide 7 HP: 69/69; AC: 18, T: 13, FF: 15; Fort: +8, Ref: +9, Will: +5; Init: +5, Perception +17
Generally no. I suggest a racial trait like brute or tusked
♂ N Half-Orc Hunter 4
Correct.
Nemesis Feat
Since we didn't get the feat until level 4 we don't get to apply the bonus to levels we already had until we complete the feat. Presumably by taking down the "Piper"
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Having a nemesis drives you to excel in training. For each new level you gain in a favored class, including the level you gained when you chose this feat, you can choose two benefits instead of one. One of these benefits must be either a bonus hit point or a bonus skill point, even if other options are available.
♂ N Half-Orc Hunter 4
GMSCV wrote: Level 4 is also where you start gain the Story Feat bonus. PRD Nemesis wrote: Completion Benefit: You gain a +2 inherent bonus to an ability score of your choice. In addition, you may retroactively apply your extra favored class benefit to the favored class levels you gained before taking this feat. We'll get a single bonus from it at level 4.
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
See...the way it reads, I took that "including the level yhou gained when you chose this feat" to mean that starting now at 4th level we get to choose the two benefits and I chose the hit point and the skill point.
@Flynt I believe those are for Orc and not half Orc? Of course I'm looking in the Ultimate Campaign...so if they are in a different book I wouldn't know about them. I was thinking about scrapper since she had such a rough childhood being picked on all the time and stuff and usually got into fights when the other kids wouldn't just let her walk away. Using that to go off more than she had to fight for every scrap of food since her parents actually made a decent kind of living.
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Oh...ah I see now. So we dont get the extra hp and skill point till after we kill the douche?
♂ N Half-Orc Hunter 4
Right. We won't get anything from levels 1,2 or 3 though. I missed the "Including this level" part until just then. :P
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Yeah, that's why I only took a +1 hp and skill point. So, I did it right, and now I just have to pick another trait?
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
It's not nice to confuse the simple female. LOL >;oP
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
I'm just a poor simple minded little farm girl, what would I know of such things? I am totally helpless and need a big strong man to help me out.
LOL I'm dyin here....LOL
♂ N Half-Orc Hunter 4
My bad. I don't think that This needs a big strong man to protect her. lol.
Male Trapper/Guide 7 HP: 69/69; AC: 18, T: 13, FF: 15; Fort: +8, Ref: +9, Will: +5; Init: +5, Perception +17
Gashka is orcy enough to qualify.lol.
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
*laughing so hard right now* You guys kill me....okay, so here's another possibility for a trait: Marital Manuscript which gives me a +2 bonus on rolls to confirm critical hits when using my unarmed strike, which is like...all the time. No one ever sees her with a weapon once they get back from their ordeal with the piper. Besides, she does more damage with her bare fists than she could do with any weapon. Hehehe
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
That's the picture from my character's description. Lol With scrapper all I get is a +1 to intimidate to demoralize opponent and perception rolls to avoid being surprised. I think martial manuscript is better for what she does.
Male Trapper/Guide 7 HP: 69/69; AC: 18, T: 13, FF: 15; Fort: +8, Ref: +9, Will: +5; Init: +5, Perception +17
Yea, but its only on a threat so you wont see much use. I think a skill trait would make gashka more well rounded.
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Perhaps, but it could mean the difference between a critical killing blow, and not a critical. Skill trait? I didn't see anything like that in this book, whats that?
♂ N Half-Orc Hunter 4
A trait that gives you a skill or skill bonus.
♂ N Half-Orc Hunter 4
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Blech...I like the idea of the possibility of killin things in a couple of blows better. If I hit them at least twice I can rend their flesh to deal additional bleed damage, so it's worth it to me. hehehehe Crush, crush them I say!!!! Lol
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Damn...I guess that whole experience did make her a little more vicious.
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
@Jin I really like the pic too. :o)
♂ N Half-Orc Hunter 4
@Pharnox Are you taking the smoke bomb discovery?
lvl 4, F 5+, R 5+, W 5+, AC 23_ T 14_ FF 19, Per 11+, HP 48/48
Eventually for now though Pharnox is using Precise Bombs and Tanglefoot bombs to make sure that he has good control and doesn't kill all of you...
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Okay, I've decided on the martial manuscript. I'm gonna play off as her real and only papa Thrainn....saw her potential but thought she needed some refinement and discipline in her techniques, so during the day he has her go study with one of the local martial instructors. How does that sound?
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
That's very nice of you Noxie, "control control, you must learn control" hehehe...sorry, it's late and I'm giddy.
lvl 4, F 5+, R 5+, W 5+, AC 23_ T 14_ FF 19, Per 11+, HP 48/48
'Who needs the Force when you have the Bomb?"
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Female Human (1/2 Minkai) Rogue 7 (Knifemaster)
@Gashka there are a bunch of martial arts that teach you to pierce and claw with fingers, she's very Tiger style.
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Which 'she' are you referring to? Do you mean 'she' as in yourself, or 'she' as in Gashka? Her style comes from a special style feat called Boar Style, but I guess the fact that she can rend flesh would make it look more like a tiger style. I don't know...I was just trying to come up with a reasonable explanation of how she would have learned this type of fighting. Trying to tie all the pieces together, ya know?

How does that sound? Sounds like Terra's Father has a special retainer that taught you both at the same time.
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Oh hey yeah....that could totally work. Goody goody goody...that works too with us developing a teamwork based fighting style. That's so cool. What do you think about the rest of the character? Does she look alright to you?
Tikkle wrote: @GMSCV - Sweeeet, Tikkle is a Kraken survivor! You think it'd happen more than once? How many voyages do you think you'd have been on in ten years?
---------------------------------------------------------------
Gashka - She seems fine to me, you just need to move Nemesis out of Traits and into Feats.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Interesting note I just realized. The first chapter is taking place ten years later, and you've been marked by a demon. I think I've been watching too much Supernatural.
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Well....that explains alot then doesn't it? Lol I'll get switched over, I just thought it was a story trait since that's where I found it.
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
HP 70/70 Panache=5 Swashbuckler 7 Init +6 AC/FF/T 21/15/16 | F+6 R+12 W+3 | Perc +8 +scent
Remember that Brawlers can do things for a short time having only seen them, but not be trained in them. Martial maneuvers is great for taking style feats to get the right bonus for any fight!
HP 70/70 Panache=5 Swashbuckler 7 Init +6 AC/FF/T 21/15/16 | F+6 R+12 W+3 | Perc +8 +scent
@GMSCV - Seven years, and probably quite a few... unless this thing works like a black spot and keeps calling the kraken to me.
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Yeah, I remember reading that somewhere. I can't get distracted by too many things though, I get confused easily. Lol
F Human
Well post Terra tonight when I get home
Female Human (1/2 Minkai) Rogue 7 (Knifemaster)
I meant that the closest real world analogy to how Gashka would fight would be Tiger style. Striking, tearing, grappling and using a combination of speed and strength to dismantle an opponent.
I love the image of Gashka and Terra walking into a room completely unarmed, Anyka armed to the teeth but you'd never know it, and being the most dangerous people in the room.
@ Tikkle - I hadn't thought of that, but now that you mention it... *scribbles down some notes* Also, just trips back and forth from Freeport to wherever or just wherever the ship is going?
A Half-Orcess, a Blind Girl, and Noblewoman walk into a Tavern...
F Human
Terra looks good on paper, the dice roller usually.days otherwise
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
I love that image too...then watch the silly dumbfounded men stumble over themselves and flee in terror when they get a little too fresh and watch their buddy get a fist in the face. Hehaheheha
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Not that she would ever go anywhere just looking for a fight. *innocent look with a smirk*
Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16
Yup...sounds like a typical girls night out to me. Sometimes if they don't bug us too much we might let the boys come along too. ;oP
