Round 2
Jevar begins to shoot at, unstated, I am assuming the target in the room that just screamed, the screaming thing hitting it twice deflating its lungs so it won't scream again. Fluids run from the lungs and a new smell of rot fills the room quickly.
Christian, apparently charging in, soon finds out that those planks being lifted are by hands. The moving floor and hands grasping at your feet make it difficult terrain, and a failed reflex save and makes you fall prone. Koldur follows close behind, perhaps too close as he falls prone as well. Luckily both of you see the hands as you fall and aim to land on the planks smashing fingers and knocking off any hands that do get a bit frisky.
Rognar defends from behind waiting. Sable continues to hack and slash from his position outside and Catrina runs for the horses with Ernost.

The figure inside begins to fill its lungs again with air... to no avail, with its lungs punctured it can't. The liquid exiting the being is rancid and smells like rot. Christian pukes up his guts. Sable continues to cut down the canine zombies and they keep biting at him but miss. Koldur...? The creature on the far side of the house heals itself using magic of some kind. Jevar puts two arrows into one of the canine undead taking it down as Rognar boosts the group. A massive thing breaks open the doors of the barn and begins to stomp towards the group. The hands grope at those on the house floor to no avail other than to make it hard to move.
Round 4
Sable cuts down one more undead before moving towards the group. Only one undead human left behind it swings and misses only to be stomped underneath the massive thing made of bodies.

The group inside of the house eventually make it to the witch undead thing and cut her to ribbons. Once they return outside they find Sable smiling with exhaustion next to Hundor and the mammoth undead monstrosity filled with arrows from Jevar. Also Olivira stands near Jevar scorch marks of magic show where any other undead may have risen from. Rognar prays and stays behind working on cleansing the site.
The rest of the group returns to the capital to begin to put down political ties and proclamations setting the beginning of their new colony.
It takes nearly a month to rebuild the fort into a proper castle. During that time houses and farms are erected around the castle. A harbor begins to emerge and fishing becomes the main resource of the city.
The Counsel of Edges convenes many times over this crucial beginning month. The first meeting determining the roles of rulership. Another deciding on what kind of colony the counsel hopes it to be: Lawful or Chaotic, Good or Evil. Adding in new members from those they have met before and new allies: Olivira, Akiros, Kreig & Doam, Ernost Van'Dreick , Oscar Cray the III, Brother Henric, Jasrella Domas , Reknar, Lord Christian D'Elagante, Rognar Grimtooth, Balazar Unchained, Johanna "The Cat" Sinclair, or others...

The Counsel of Edges convenes first to introduce new members and old. The meeting room is on the third floor and it looks out to the South and North in two large open balconies. Within is a large table able to fit about 20 easily. In the center of the table rests a large map of the Stolenlands. The first member to arrive is Sable and he awaits others.
You all have a personal room on the second or first floor of the castle. The dwarves would have it no other way.

The male elf before you has pale skin with flecks of reflective shiny skin almost like glitter. His white hair hangs loosely down below his neck. His blue eyes seem very intelligent and aware of his surroundings. Piercings and silver jewelry are very apparent on his figure showing his status and wealth. The chain mail suit of armor hangs tight to his figure with a simple blue tunic over it. Black leather breeches, belt and thick soled boots finish his look of simplicity and bring attention to his silver adornments. A thick curved blade resides on the back of his chair, it is nearly five feet long and a hollow along the blade allows a silver like liquid to rush along the blade.

Johanna enters and takes a seat at the table after approaching and greeting Sable.
"Ah Master Koldur has spoke of you. You are Sable. I am Johanna servant of Iomedae. I was close friend to the princess growing up and trained to be her protector. My husband and I come to help establish rule here so that we can help our princess regain her seat. I understand you wish to be General. From what I have heard our army once we have one could not be in more capable hands. We have decided we will rule as a council behind closed doors so please never shy from offering input or suggestion, but for the public face my husband and I will rule. Duke Balazar and Duchess Johanna."

The next to arrive is Koldur and despite his accomplishments, his fame, his ever present axes and his indomitable spirit. It clear to all that the dwarf is old. Having served the Princess's Grandfather and father until serving as the Princess Guardian herself, he was old. He should have being retired in his chosen domain but here he is unbowed. Still defiant and serving.
It is clear he only sees a few occupants...
"Sable, I'm afraid I'm not as sprightly as I used to be and so my speed in getting here is regrettably slower then I would like." he offers a grin at his old friend.
Spotting Joanne, his face breaks into a wide smile. One that wrinkles his face giving him a grandfatherly look to those who don't know the strict arms master he used to be.
"I see one of my best students has arrived. One of those who had bested me at arms." his grin says it all. He's joyful to see someone else familiar that came along with the army.
"And here I thought that you were Moonshine's lady in waiting? Her personal guard and champion?" he looks thoughtful at that.
"I see that this council is large and we are missing quite a few more people..." he trails off as he finds a seat which is closest to a wall, away from the opening of the balcony.

Jevar yawns loudly as he enters, stretching a bit. "Honestly, I don't think I'll ever find enough rest to catch up with everything that has been going on. I think I sleep better when we're not stuck in the castle, less noise and business." he said tiredly.
He looked around at the newcomers and nodded to well dressed woman. His eyes moved over to Oscar and he shook his head before taking a seat and trying to find a manner of comfort.

Johanna stands and remains proper for only a moment before running up and giving the old dwarf a hug.
"It is great to see you again. I feared the worse but I knew you would still be safe. I am happy we can do this together to help the princess."
She looks to the other newcomer.
"Oh you must be Jevar, come come, sit. I am Johanna. A once student of Master Koldur here. I am champion and protector to the princess. Now if my husband and others would hurry along we can get started. Let us have a drink while we wait."

Sable stands as Johanna enters the room. "Well it does seem you know most of which we had to talk about, it is good to finally meet you Johanna." Sable says simply with a bit of warmth.
He winks at Koldur after the first jest, "Old... maybe for a human you old dwarf! Ha ha ha...." he says with a joking undertone.
"Welcome Jevar! Come have a seat next to me, I know Olivira will want to sit next to you." Sable says again simply and with a bit of warmth.

"Sorry I didn't notice you at first please come sit with us. And you are? I'm sure my husband and the others should be coming along shortly."
Oscar stands after a minute and comes to join the group before sitting down he introduces himself, "I am Oscar Cray the III, Paladin and Sacred Servant of Abbadar."
At the mention of drink a young maiden enters the room with a tray of crystalline glasses and a crystalline pitcher. Laying the tray on the table closest to Johanna she pours a glass to her and then continues to hand out the glasses.

Ernost Van'Dreick |

This man walks in nods to most and introduces himself to the new face, Johanna, with a smile, a brisk handshake, and welcoming words, "Hello there, I am Ernost Van'Dreick ranger, horse rangler, and all around scout for our exploring group. And my fair lady what would be your name?"
Once that introduction he tips his hat to the group and finds himself a nice posh chair.

Olivira |

Olivira comes in with all her splendor with Hundor close at her heels. Her appearance is that of a tempting succubus. Raven black hair spilling over two massive horns and a massive black mane behind. Glowing red eyes, stark white teeth in comparison to her dark ruby glistening lips. A glittering diamond on her forehead and a necklace of bones and black leather. A red dress leaving little imagination to the viewer of all her deadly curves. Pert and amble breasts nearly ready to be free from the lack of clothing covering them. The rest of the dress covers her front and back, leaving cuts along the side to let her athletic legs be viewed easily. No wings or other demonic appearances as her hands are delicate with clean fingernails. On her head is a strange metallic hat of sorts made of flat strips of metal some six inches long with strange runes upon them, they almost seem to suspend in the air around her face as if ioun stones without the rotation.
She comes in with a tray in each hand and two more on floating disks. Each tray holds a bounty of food, slices of one kind of meat or another on a bed of greens or fruit. Sauces making the dishes even more appetizing and shiny. Ohhh and the smells are just delightful. Hundor brings a massive tray with a stuffed boar nearly eight times the size of the halfling. Once she gets near the table she desposits the trays with grace and points her finger and the floating trays go over the chairs and table to the other side, lowering to touch the table and with a snap of her fingers they dissipate. With a sensual growl she says, "Dinner is served," then in a more casual tone says, "don't let it cool. If some are late that is there own fault... dig in." She goes around making sure everyone has their cup full and any other requests while stroking shoulder, back of necks, and arms; any chance for physical contact.

Johanna stands and greets each with a smile and kind word. She eyes the succubus a bit more, but has heard on good authority that she is redeemed and can respect and admire that. As the princess enters she gives her a big hug.
"Oh my sister how have you been? I am sorry we had to part ways, but I am here now. Ready to resume my protection of you and be your champion. We will forge a strong kingdom out of these ashes so that you may take your rightful place of rule back. I am so happy to see you again. Come sit, let's eat. Now if my husband would show up we can get this meeting started."
She returns to her seat, but before sitting addresses the group.
"My first order here is to thank Olivira for the fine meal, she has gone out of her way to provide for us and it would be rude not to eat while it is warm, please enjoy."

Johanna "The Cat" Sinclair |

As the others begin to eat and drink Johanna stands again.
"I did hope my husband would be here but I'm sure he is finishing some important business. I would like to thank everyone in this room for what you have done and will continue to do for us and the Princess. Our goal here is to help her regain the throne, her birthright. We will need to grow and prosper as a people to do so. These lands are not yet safe and we need to continue to cleanse them but we have a foothold and a start. We will be the ruling council here. Inside this room you are encouraged and obligated to speak freely and frankly for the benefit of the kingdom and one another. Outside there will be a ruling structure for the people. With council and with what I have learned of each of you we have the following laid out.
The Duke and Duchess will me Myself and my husband Balazar.
To serve as our council and the will of the people I was hoping." She looks to the princess. "That you would take that honor to work close with me and make sure I don't lose sight of what the people want and our goals here. Our General to train and lead our armies that we one day will need, Sable Soren. Our Diplomat in charge of foreign policy and relations. I can think of none other than Olivira, your charms will make us strong in negotiations. To serve as high priest and watch the spiritual well being of the people, Sir Oscar. To serve as Magister and all things arcane to our kingdom, Lady Jasrella. To enforce laws and watch over our lands as Marshal, Jevar. To help enforce the laws and work with Jevar as royal enforcer, Reknar. To ensure our secrets are kept safe as our spymaster, Ernost. To watch over the treasury and growth of the kingdom Rognar. Finally to protect and watch over us all and the people as Warden, none more experienced then Master Koldur. The first few months will be tough as more people come to settle we must make the surrounding lands safe. I understand the Soothscale tribe is an ally and sits on a resource of silver. We will grow to include them in our borders, my initial intelligence says there is another mine between here and the dwarf fortress to the north. We will expand toward them and take this mine as well. We will need to venture out and secure it first, we will need to do this in the next three months. We will build farms to sustain our people and build to the dwarven fortress in hopes they will join our kingdom. It is an honor to serve each of you going forward. Thank you again for your support."
Johanna takes a seat again as she pointed on the map as she laid out her plan. She will let those here take it in and offer any objection or discussion.

Koldur of the Axe |

Koldur has his breath squeezed out of him by his former pupil's strength but he is more then happy to receive it, seeing her growth was more then enough for the old dwarf.
Having Oscar moved from his place to give his greeting, startled the dwarf since he didn't notice the Paladin at all. He resolved to train more on that.
With the council members more or less present with refreshments, he too took some of it but he refrained from the more physical contact from Olivira for despite her being on their side for now, he couldn't bring himself to allow her to touch. Old instincts die hard indeed.
"We should expand towards out allies first so that in the event that they or us are attacked, we might be better defended here." Koldur offers as he studies the map.

Johanna "The Cat" Sinclair |

"I very much agree Master Koldur. Connecting the lands of our settlement with the Dwarven fortress will strengthen us both. Our first order will be double checking the lands between here and there, Securing the gold mine and working on negotiations to bring them under our rule and protection." She says with a smile.

I'm sorry for taking so long to get back up to speed. I'll try to post at least once per day going forward.
Finally Balazar comes into the room. He's practically running into the room. He is a massive half-orc with dark hair, sun tanned skin and plenty of muscle. A well-polished breastplate protects him and he wears a fine cloak on his back. There are some weapons strapped to his back, but he also carries on in his hand. A massive bardiche forged out of cold iron. It might look odd that he carries the weapon upside down, unless one studies the weapon closely to notice that it's actually a guitar with strings all along the length of the haft.
He bows with a flourish after entering toward the princess. "I'm pleased to see you here Your Royal Highness." Then he turns towards Johanna. "Seeing you my love always brighten up my day, no matter how often I gaze upon you."
"As you know. I was dealing with the animals... Sable was rough to handle as always. Then, on the way here... There were a few people gathered around a boy playing a lute. I couldn't just pass on. Then there was a crowd. You know how it is." He strikes a cord on his guitar, the sound reverberating through the room, as if that explains everything.

Sable smiles up at Olivira as she passes him and then begins to enjoy the feast and drink. With Johanna's announcement he bangs on the table in encouragement and a "Huzzah!" to finish it off. "Once again Johanna it seems you have this well under hand."
He looks at Balazar a bit mortified, then realizing he must be talking about his own mount with the same name as him he disregards it with a cleansing breath. Still looking a bit off his face obviously shows being a bit underwhelmed by the half orc.

Ernost takes to the food well, after all he is still a young and growing man. He slows down as the announcement is made by Johanna. Once she is done he cleans his face with a napkin and offers up, "Are you sure?! I am just a country bumpkin, I don't know much about intrigue and being a spymaster!
