Taking the OOC here. I intend to take Wondrous Items next lvl. Also, Fizz,be sure to put the bracelet and the vest in your inventory if they are not already, as I will be roving them from the Party list.

Especially if i go into witch, that might be a good use of a feat since i will have a good range of spells.

Also, Fizz, I will remove the Crystal Sphere since it is being treated proprietarily.


Witch's have the Cauldron Hex, which gives u brew potion.. There might even be a more powerful version on it with major or grand hex..

Lol Fizz is such a brat in some ways.

It was in a box that sly brought to us and then we opened it and it exploded knocking fizz, rekkla and baern and vik all the way down to single digits.

Fizz will prob give it to rekkla when she rejoins us as a regular.

I am confused about familiars. Do they get their own feats and skills?

I have been trying to read up on them, but I find myself confused.

A familiar is an animal chosen by a spellcaster to aid him in his study of magic. It retains the appearance, Hit Dice, base attack bonus, base save bonuses, skills, and feats of the normal animal it once was, but is now a magical beast for the purpose of effects that depend on its type. Only a normal, unmodified animal may become a familiar. An animal companion cannot also function as a familiar.

That should clear it up. :)

And for a witch, familiars have some extra special features. For example, they essentially serve as your spellbook. When you lose your familiar it is about as painful as a wizard losing a spellbook.

Blood, is it possible to have a couple of things related to the area maps you posted? As you've no doubt probably gathered, I like to try to keep things organized, so I don't mind keeping up with map details along with party equipment. Can I know the following things:

1) Which hex on the map has the monastery?
2) Which hex on the map has the sycamore tree?
3) Are there any other hexes that have "details" that would be marked that the party discovered prior to me joining the game?
4) Which hexes of the map are "formally explored"? I know that Kingmaker has some specific rules that apply to the exploration of hexes, and XP rewards based upon that exploration...

I understand you're under the weather, so whenever you can tackle that for me, then I can take it from there and edit the map as necessary to reflect what we do/things we find, explore, etc.

Fizz, Torq, I just want to let you know that even though Klaus is spelling out a "gameplan" for us to follow, I'm not trying to pidgeon-hole either one of you. Moreso just trying to keep things straight and organized. If there is IC objection, make IC objection. If there is OOC objection, make that, too, but generally speaking it is all IC so that's just as well. Don't want you thinking WE MUST DO MY PLAN OR WE WILL FAIL or anything like that. Things move quickly and I want to make sure you know you have ample opportunity for input.

I think I missed how much the gems were worth in the box Fizz found. He had a high appraise check on them.

He would have given 1/4 to Rekkla, 1/4 to Vik, 1/4 to Selena, some really Shiny ones that Sly liked to the Sly, and kept the last 1/4th for himself.

Klaus, it is pretty much the same kingdom building rules. I'm not sure what has changed because I have stayed away from most of the info on Kingmaker, but everything I have read and seen implies it used the Kingmaker rules as it's starting point and expanded/improved from there.

Well you can attempt to take those shiney's from the box, but Sly will bite you, over and over again, of course threaten you first with a growl and statement of "MINE! My shiney's, chest is mine shiney's mine. Mine! Mine! MINE!" You would get the hint that you will get them over his dead corpse!

Just to be clear, but not needed: a few shinys would have been 3 or 5 gems.

What TYPE of dragonkin are they? I have not looked into it, because I felt it would be too much OOC knowledge if I read all the previous pages, but I assume the type of dragon is pretty obvious.
