GM Wolf |
"No, no, no, let me take care of my own mess. I will bring you some refeshment, what would you care to have, perhaps some sweets as well, for the sweet." He will hear nothing of the lady before him to help.
Soon enough the room is clear of clutter.
He brings in the refreshments and a dish with all sorts of baked goods and other sweet choices. He also has a scroll.

"So tell me of your many suitors!" The gnome seems to be very enamored with you. "Tell me about yourself, what you enjoy to do, likes, and such things?"
As you are talking he produces another scroll and seems to be copying down from one to the other, almost absent mindedly.
Angeus |
Ah...well, you know, grew up in Rostov, went to the big city to make my fortune..." Angeus says uncertainly. Curious she tries to see what he's copying

Kevros Droverson |
Kevros finds whatever he can to blindfold the horses with and starts to blindfold them to bring them into the cave. "Siph, please help me by holding the the reins tight so they don't jerk their heads away? Thanks!" ... After blind folding the horses, he starts taking them inside and places them in a safe comfortable place for them.
Tristan Morgan |
Upon meeting back up with the others at the cave entrance.
Looks like our elf may have a love interest. The gnome invited her in and is making a list of supplies. He is trading us a wand of healing for supply shipments.
Angeus |
Angeus takes a look at the list, seeing if there's anything on there that may be difficult to get.
"Quite a list. You must not have been re-supplied for sometime. Have you lived here very long? "
GM Wolf |
Kevros Droverson |
Kevros continues to blindfold the horses and bring them inside the cave in which they will be calm and Kevros can cover all three locations (horses, wagon, and prisoners) easily. After he has made sure they are relatively comfortable, he sets something up for Siph to relax and watch the horses inside the cave at the same time.
GM Wolf |
Fiddlewatterish Grendorisah Zelfartiksossishmen, I will get you that wand and you can be off", he comes back shortly with a scroll case and a wooden wand.
Thank you Kevros very descriptive.
Tristan Morgan |
so we dead in the water here or what?
Angeus |
Angeus takes the case and wand as well as the payment pouch. Turning to go, she suddenly turns back to Fiddle and gives him a kiss on the cheek "Take care, Fiddlewatterish, and thank you. I'm glad to have found a friend this day."
Diplomacy 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
She then meets his gaze , gives him a smile and makes her way out of his home to meet the others.
Quince Medvyed |
Quince smiles as Angeus emerges from the gnome hone. "How was your date? . . . Lets join the others Tristan will burst if we don'st get some miles behind us today."
Tristan Morgan |
Yes we have been fortunate, we must of caught most of the bandits here. None have returned thus far and if we can depart before any do all the better.
Quince Medvyed |
Quince returns to see the the horses inside the cave. He smiles knowing Kevros' eye for defense is on his side. "Well we have a merchant and prisoners to retrieve. Anything else on the list before we make it home?"

Tristan Morgan |
So is it back to Oleg's then? We should head back to update our map and start working on a plan to engage the Stag Lord.
Quince Medvyed |
Quince nods at Tristan's comments. "Angeus may I see the map the Gnome mentioned."
Quince Medvyed |
Quince's brow furrows a moment. "Let's not push things with the hermit. He has been helpful and paid us up front apparently. We will have opportunity on our way back through for him to open up more. We should get moving."
Angeus |
"Yeah, sorry I forgot about the map. I had my enough to deal with in there..." Angeus says with a rueful smile.
"Yes, lets get ourselves back ."
Moderate pace sounds ok to me too
Kevros Droverson |
While the group has been away, Kevros has made sure the cave camp remained secured with the help of Vale, Stalker, and Siph. In addition, they blind folded the horses and brought them inside the cave.
As the group returns, a relieved Kevros smiles and nods, "Glad to see you all are ok. Did you meet with the Gnome and do you think he will be our ally?
Quince Medvyed |
Quince smiles, "Angeus spent the most time with him. He seems to prefer her company over S'ala, Tristan and myself. He has traded us UPFRONT a wand capable of healing in exchange for us bringing him some supplies on our way back through. So he is a contact that may over time prove useful."
Angeus |
"He seems to be lonely for company of the female persuasion." Angeus says "He's been here for 75 years, his family longer, so yes I think he'll be of great use in the future."
Kevros Droverson |
Kevros smiles from ear to ear, "Good, good! Did I hear you all were ready to return Oleg's? If I heard correctly, I recommend Angeus goes outside of the cave to verify our path is still clear of bandits and/or an ambush."
GM Wolf is it still the morning hours?
Quince Medvyed |
"Oleg's yes but we have prisoners to collect and our 'merchant' that are under the care of Stalker's friends."
Tristan Morgan |
Agreed then, let us mount up and go fetch these men.
Angeus |
"I'll take a look, see if there's anything I missed."
She exits the cave and makes a careful survey of the area around the entrance.
Perception 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26
Tristan Morgan |
Well thats good nothing has laid ambush for us in the the few mins we have been in the cave. We can now be off to Olegs
Quince Medvyed |
Quince nods, "We are off then." Once the spare horses are tethered Quince mounts Scram and moves fourth, when everyone is ready.
Kevros Droverson |
GM Wolf, is the cart large enough for two or just one?
Quince Medvyed |
How many prisoners do we have? Bound to the saddle on horses tetherd to the wagon would be my suggestion.
Quince Medvyed |
5!!! Is that before we pick up the merchant and the other wave of prisoners or does that include them?
Tristan Morgan |
Tristan will ride to the front 100' ahead as a lookout.
Kevros Droverson |
As the group ties the prisoners to the cart, Kevros speaks up, "Who all is going to lead the spare horses? I will partner up with the cart driver and have my crossbow at the ready so that is another spare horse that will need to be led."
I wanted to say shotgun so bad ... LOL
Quince Medvyed |
"Those on horse back can manage a follower I will lead the rest."
Stalker of Vengence |
Stalker nods in agreement to Quince's statement. Grabs a spare horse and ties it's leads to his saddle. He then mounts up, taking a forward position between Tristan and the cart.
Kevros Droverson |
Kevros gets situated and looks to everyone, "I believe we are ready? If so, lead the way to Stalker's friends to retrieve the other bandit prisoners."
Angeus |
Angeus finishes checking her horses saddle and reins, ties off the second horse to her saddle horn and mounts.
Turning in her saddle she says "I'm ready Kevros, can't wait to have some of Svetlana's stew!"
Kevros Droverson |
Kevros nods, "Yum, I sure do miss her home cooking!
Quince Medvyed |
Quince looks to S'ala, but mtions to himself, "This one likes stew how about that one." He finishes pointing back at S'ala.
Stalker of Vengence |
"Perhaps I should go collect those few and meet you at Oleg's, you can travel much faster if you stick to the plains." Stalker suggests.
S'ala |
S'ala smiles at Quince and nods, not getting the inference. "Quince is quite right. This One also would like a warm meal after riding."
GM Wolf |
Well with the lack of response it seems that the group wants to stick together. Each of you for one reason or another either does not hear Stalker or chooses to ignore him.
Stalker shrugs his shoulders and rides with his bow out.
After 4 hours of riding, the group stops. Lets the horses get water, give them some feed to eat as well. Does someone whip up some food or hand out some rations. What do you do for the next 4 hours?
