Fenrir moves forward ahead of his master, while Freya casts a spell in hopes of blinding the drake.

Isabel, invisible, focuses her will on the drake as she reads Freya's intentions in the other woman's chanting.
Hypnotic Stare and the first person to damage the drake does an extra 3 points of damage. No other actions though, for now I like being invisible!

"Right!" The young man drops his bow, since the Baron seems intent on doing this up close and personal, starting to turn to his left as the Baron rolls past him on that side. He hesitates for a split second before turning to his right, pulling his blade as he duplicates the Baron's charge.

Blinded and panicking the Drake attempts to flee, only to fall to the blows of those surrounding it.
Treasure: Strewn about the underbrush are the discarded possessions of the forest drake’s most recent victim, an unfortunate elf scout.
Most of the gear is ruined, but the following items can still be salvaged:
A ripped and broken Mithril chain shirt,
A masterwork darkwood longbow,
And a tattered, bloodstained cloak of Elvenkind.
Plus this was one of the notices on your list, so 1200gp reward for you when you get back.
Where to now?
Darian Aulamaxa
Darian looks to Josef and says ”Gimme a hand, will ya?” before stepping over and, firstly, plunges his sword into its heart to make sure it was dead. Then, he turns the head over and cleaves it free of its body before beginning the process of trying to harvest the hide from the creature.
Once that task was done, he cleans his hands and sword off before looking to the others and saying ”Well then, on to the west?”
Josef Orlovsky
"Do you prefer slow applause, or a quick staccato?" He grins as he helps manipulate the carcass.
"Taking some of the meat, too, right? I bet the team," he points back in the direction of the caravan, "would love some fresh dragon meat . . .."
Darian Aulamaxa
Darian smirks. ”Slow applause building up to frenzied enthusiasm is always nice,” he replies as he strains to turn the things head with Josef’s help.
After the hide and head are separated, he looks back to the caravan and muses ”Perhaps. If they haven’t got any aversions to such a meal.”

Moving into Hex22.
random: 1d100 ⇒ 72
The further you travel into this area the more you see signs of inhabitation. A lack of game, disturbed trees and trails made by large, clawed feet.
survival Freya: 1d20 + 12 + 1d6 ⇒ (7) + 12 + (1) = 20
Freya soon discerns the pattern and directs you towards a high cliff face among forested hills with a carefully concealed path leading upwards on the face.
What now?
GM_DBH
The tracks are those of Trolls! Map up top.
R1. The Approach
A narrow path winds its way up the hill, a steep cliff face on one side and a sheer drop-off on the other. At the top, the path follows a wide ledge, where the corner of a weathered stone building juts from the side of the hill.
chance: 1d100 ⇒ 91
What order are you in as you scale the path/

Perception Joanna: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28
Perception Troll: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (20) - 2 = 18
R2. Barbican
Joanna, as you move closer to the entrance, one that has been made by large creatures forcing their way through a normal sized door, you hear a loud argument in Giant?
Peeking around you can see two Trolls that are arguing with each other and not watching the entrance.
What are you doing now?
Johanna Atsuko
She holds up a hand to signal to the group to stop while she listens in to see if anything important is being argued over.
[ooc]Johanna speaks giant so she will listen in first. If the argument has no valuable info and is just over food or something dumb she will assess the situation. She will move back to the group.
"Two trolls arguing. We should set an ambush. Josef do you want to draw them out. It is best for me to hide and wait in ambush to gain flank to attack vital spots."
With that said she will draw and use a charge of her wand in preparation.
44/50 charges remain
Josef Orlovsky
Josef looks at Johanna like she has three heads for a second. "Want? No. Absolutely not. NOBODY should want to do that. Will?" He sighs, looking at Lisl and shrugs. "Yeah. I know Lisl will pick me back up afterwards."
Josef gives the Baron and Baroness a chance to get into position, waits for everybody else to indicate they are ready, then Josef steps out into the indicated space. Slipping into Total Defense, he calls out "Hey! Your mother was a campfire and the best parts of you were served as a roast!"
Puts his AC 26, T 20, F 17, CMD 27
GM_DBH
Joanna. The argument was pointless and stupid as you guessed.
When Josef bellows loudly one of the Trolls emerges from the broken entrance with a look more of confusion than anger at this loud stranger.
Since you are all ready you can take your actions now.
Man that ledge is narrow! Shame no one has a grease spell. :)
Johanna Atsuko
Johanna takes her surprise attack as the creature emerges.
Attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (6) + 14 = 20
Damage: 1d6 + 6 + 2d6 ⇒ (6) + 6 + (6, 2) = 20
Init: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22
I'm assuming we are getting a surprise round and not a full round of actions. let me know if not the case. Thanks.
Darian Aulamaxa
Darian also tries to join in the attack to bring one down as quickly as possible...
Attack, Flank: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 10 + 2 = 27
Damage, Arcane Strike: 1d10 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 2 = 11

Isabel shoots at the same creature, focusing her psychic powers to help her husband strike true.
PBS: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Extra 3 damage on Darian's hit too.
Josef Orlovsky
Josef steps up and lays into the troll as well.
The graphic chosen shows weapons in the trolls' hands. The description is silent on the point. I'll just whack-a-mole this round for simplicity, but if they are holding weapons, i will probably want to attempt to disarm one of them should we face more than one at a time. Based on the assumption that they wouldn't use weapons that do less damage than their claws will . . ..
I see no indication of active buffs, so . . ..
Duelling Sword w/ Flank: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 11 + 2 = 33
Slashing: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Confirm? w/ Flank: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 11 + 2 = 33 I guess that will, hunh?
Slashing: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 For 23 total.
Now, if we are in a surprise round, then that's the end of it. If we have a full round, then I also get off the iterative attack.
Duelling Sword w/ Flank, Iterative: 1d20 + 11 + 2 - 5 ⇒ (4) + 11 + 2 - 5 = 12
Slashing: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Okay, so the only reason that will matter is if I make that attack, I get a +1 AC bonus vs melee attacks.
GM_DBH
You are right Joanna. It was a surprise round and I should have stated that.
Everyone waiting badly wounds the very surprised Troll, who is still alive (just).
Init order goes party then Trolls, you are aware and prepared so you go first.
The party may now act. One wounded troll by the door, one inside to room.
