Both shots find their mark one graces one of them, the other hits him full force, yet the man lives and barely moves, and is dragged out of sight.
As threatening deep voices in a foreign language are distorted by their respirators.

"Their just lucky, I have seen better shooters. We need to break this we will shoot to pin them down and a group mass engage them in melee, then the rest will follow."
Most shots seem to target Sgt. Kelliber and anyone around him.
They do have a thing of shooing chain of command over grunts.
Damage 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 Sgt. Kelliber
Damage 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 Moran
1LT Rickert is shaking his head as he continues to stop bleeding from the Commissar
More shots are fired from the other side where fire is more accurate and some privates of the command group are being torn to shreds, while the others platoons try to hold their corridors with some a better success.
[ooc]Will wait for rest of players to take their turn/ooc]
Alex Kaminsky |
Alex runs forward, ducks in cover, then looks at the man who shot the Sergeant, his eyes glowing. A knocked over helmet smashes in the man's leg.
Assail: 1d100 ⇒ 58 Versus WP 46+10(Assail)+10(2PR)+5(Psy Focus)=71
Damage: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11 Pen 2
Quietly, he whispers, "Nobody shoots our NCO's but us..."
Athenee Moran |
Dodge: 1d100 ⇒ 34
There is a roar of fire from up the corridor, and the slender figure of Moran just manages to dive out of the way and into the shelter of the waiting doorway as a round skips off the bulkhead at chest-height and away into the distance. "Zora! Zora? Where the kraka are you?" Athenee peers around the corner and then ducks back into shelter as lasfire and autorounds criss-cross inches past her face. "Zora!?!"
A rush of movement and the large black-haired woman dives into the doorway behind her, driving her against the doorframe forward and leaving Athenee gasping for breath. Before she can stagger out into harm's way, Zora grabs her shoulder and tugs her back. "Now then little one, I know you're eager to get to grips with the enemy but that's what your gun is for; no need to get yourself fragged on your first day!"
Off-turn, I'll wait until the others have a chance to lay down fire.
Liam McGregor |
As the face the enemy, Liam's eyes open fully and his posture becomes more rigid, perhaps only now beginning to use the energy he had been storing up.
Realizing that the squad is still a little fractured, he lays down a burst of suppressing fire, to give the rest time to find cover and begin to fight back properly.
Supressing fire (Bs 40 - 20 + possible range): 1d100 ⇒ 93
While the fire is wildly inaccurate, it does lay down a nice little swarm of las, possibly keeping the enemy ducking.
Deiros |
Gunfire stops and they are talking amongst themselves laughing, as they begin to scream at something.
Louder shots in a much higher fire rate "Heavy Stubber!"[/b] screams an orderly from command as his face leaves his body in a spat of gore as a stream of endless showering bullets rain down the hallway.
The Telumen soldiers resume their attentions on you.
Smells slightly like Ozone.
Awareness Challenging (0) Test
Liam McGregor |
Awareness (32): 1d100 ⇒ 90
Liam is far too focused on the possibility of a heavy stubber giving the enemy fire support to notice anything else at the moment, and the smell of ozone he puts down to the discharge of laser around him.
"Sarge, we can't stay here, in a few moments, they'll pin us if they bring that support weapon up!
If we can't go around, we have to push through!"
Liam McGregor |
Huh, someone listens to me, I should speak more often...
Seeing the sergeant with a grenade, Liam palms one himself, thinking that doubling the mayhem won't hurt, or rather, won't hurt anyone he cares about.
Sgt Marko Kelliber |
"Here we go, Killers! Make a hole and watch your hoops for that stubber!"
Marko lobs his frag grenade into the nearest cluster of enemy, before moving up to another covered position.
1d100 ⇒ 29 Standard attack; BS 29+10=39 (success)

Athenee Moran |
Awareness vs 14: 1d100 ⇒ 9 Astonishing, Success
Twitching her nose at the smell of ozone, Athenee peers carefully out around the line of the doorway. In the undercity, that tends to mean there's some huge piece of machinery threatening to overload - which might mean she would be sent in to stop it from making a seared crater. Here it might mean... something worse. Looking for the scent's origin, she takes careful aim at the Teluman who seems to be at greatest risk of unleashing it - whatever it is - on the squad and fires a swift pair of shots at him. Or her.
Aimed attack vs 55: 1d100 ⇒ 76 - miss
Standard attack vs 45: 1d100 ⇒ 33 - hit to body?
Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
The first sears past, the second seems to slam home and Athenee slides back out of sight while Zora lays down a withering hail of fire.
Alex Kaminsky |
Awareness: 1d100 ⇒ 1 Versus 32, or 42 if hearing
Right, so now I got a 1.
"Drusus' balls! Cover me, I'm going for the Stubber!", shouts Alex, dashing towards the Heavy Stubber.
Alex will dash for the stubber, getting to the nearest cover he can get.
"Aw, hell no!", shouts Alex, and shoots his lascarbine at it.
Ballistic Skill, single shot, Half-Action Aim: 1d100 ⇒ 95 Versus 52
Letting people know, my plan is to get close to the guy/gal in the Stubber, and Dominate him/her into mowing their own troops. For the Psyker is hopefully getting them to Push and do the same. Sounds pretty good?

Awareness test success
Damned section got eaten so I post it here in this spoiler.
You notice a flash of blue that is what leaves an ozone smell and shortly after the stubber stops firing and command squad guardsmen are being attacked in melee, but they seem stunned and electricity seems to not work.
Blue grenades = Haywire+Stun.
Feel bad if the engiseer Grigori ever get's hit he will go into catatonic state lol
Dodge Moran Attack 1d100 ⇒ 13
Roll damage for grenade also with attack regardless of hit or not, the damage to the area still happens.

Good grenade they all ate it XD
Gregori Mikonavich |
You'll have to bear with me in learning the combat system here. My foray into GMing this hasn't reached that point yet.
Poking around the corner Gregori takes aim at one of the dazed enemies and takes one out.
HAlf Action to Aim +10 WS
Half action to standard attack. +10 WS

Athenee Moran |
Stun! Stun! Stun! Get to cover!" Warning given, Athenee suits deed to words and runs - forward, deciding that she's already too far forward to make it back to safety. It's her turn to tug Zora after her as they keep their heads down and sprint under the ominously glowing blue arcs, turning left and diving through the open hatch some 30 meters from the Telumen squad, her friend close behind.
Tactical Advance
Athenee Moran |
"Think we're deep enough now?", he says, as he arrives at the cover.
"I think so," Athenee gives him a strained smile and nods back to where the grenades are arcing down toward where they were a short dash ago. "Ask me again if we aren't half-fried in the next few seconds." She should look out and make sure the others are running. She should check and make sure they're safe... but right now? She's in the nook, and Zora and Alex are there with her.
That will do for now, until they start going off.
Deiros |
Dodge vs. Orsini 1d100 ⇒ 11
Dodge vs. Camael 1d100 ⇒ 41
You hear your grenade explode but can't really tell what happened, as you still see some kind of shadows in the mist.
Camael shot hits one of those figures but it does not seem to deter it more than a grunt and probably some foul language he can't understand.
The firefight continues elsewhere as you hear their footsteps making quick move out of your area, but something else explodes as the clouds of blue smoke dissipate just for there to be some more right after that.

What did my 1 on the Perception test give me? Would hate to waste a 1.
Awareness: 1d100 ⇒ 51 Versus 22
"The Munitorum would've gotten a gold star from me if they gave us the preysense now... Now, I'd settle for just a couple of Astartes. Cover me, Moran, I want that stubber, and I want it now!", Alex gives Athenee a wink and a smile, and dashes once more in the direction of the Heavy Stubber.
Tactical Advance
Assail, PR, at shooter: 1d100 ⇒ 30 Versus 71, Oooh, Headshot!
Damage: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 Pen 2
Distance Thrown back: 1d5 ⇒ 1
Alex's fist is clenched as blue light shines through it. One of the corpses flies at the gunner and smashes right into his face, sending him backwards, on the ground.
"I'll beat a m!~+#$#@!+~& with another m%*&&*+!*+#+!", he shouts, rallying the team.
If he can't he'll just proceed to the heaviest cover he can hide, Assailing anyone he can reach.
Don't know if I can use the same dice for that, but if possible, I'd like to. If I can't, Attack: 1d100 ⇒ 17, Damage: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4, Distance: 1d5 ⇒ 2
A piece of ceiling crashes on the ground in front of a trooper, bouncing back on his leg and dragging him a couple of meters on the ground.

I did put it up, but will, put it again for ya.
You notice a flash of blue that is what leaves an ozone smell and shortly after the stubber stops firing and command squad guardsmen are being attacked in melee, but they seem stunned and electricity seems to not work.
Blue grenades so far seem to have a stun and haywire effect
Athenee Moran |
Awareness: 1d100 ⇒ 46
"I can't help you hook up some Astartes, but we'll do what we can." Both women lean out of cover, Zora ducking across to the other side of the corridor. They're far enough up the passageway that they're outside the weird blue smoke, and Athenee raises her carbine to her shoulder and pans it slowly across the corridor, keeping an eye out for enemies as she watches over Alex's advance.
Overwatch. Will fire at the first enemy on she sees in her view area on SAB, prioritizing enemies trying to attack Alex, then Zora, then herself. Pre-rolled attacks are below.
BS vs 45: 1d100 ⇒ 51
BS vs 45: 1d100 ⇒ 58
So I'd miss both shots - unless some of the fallen enemy get back up, in which case I have +10 and hit them with one shot - but any enemy would still need to make a pinning check. Hopefully their rolls are as bad as mine!
Liam McGregor |
Giving a terse nod, Liam begins to advance deeper into the smoke, as a precaution, he switches from his las rifle to the shotgun he got earlier, reasoning that it might be better since he is unlikely to see the enemy until they are up close.
As Carno follows he smirks and mutters to himself, "Sure, it just wouldn't be sporting unless we reduced our chances to survive as much as possible, eh Liam?"
Athenee Moran |
Survival: 1d100 ⇒ 10
Doing her best to cover Kaminsky's advance, Athenee moves up rapidly behind him and across the passageway, crouching behind a metal supply crate some 15 metres from the earlier Telumen position. The enemy's fire actually seems to be slacking off after the Sarge's grenade, and she can see the bodies littered around the intersection.
She peers closely at them. Wasn't... isn't that a... "Careful of the bodies, boys and girls - I think the filth have trapped them."
