Nope, doesn't take any extra time. When your character is not in immediate danger or distracted, you may choose to take 10. Instead of rolling 1d20 for the skill check, calculate your result as if you had rolled a 10. For many routine tasks, taking 10 makes them automatically successful. Distractions or threats (such as combat) make it impossible for a character to take 10. In most cases, taking 10 is purely a safety measure—you know (or expect) that an average roll will succeed but fear that a poor roll might fail, so you elect to settle for the average roll (a 10). Taking 10 is especially useful in situations where a particularly high roll wouldn't help. Natalya is neutralized for now so you are not distracted by anything.

Domingo, sheathes his sword and bending he tucks natalya's weapons into his belt.
Ralph tie her up, use her own clothes if you have to. Make sure you bind her fingers and gag her, I dont want her casting anymore spells. Im going to check on Gelbor, hes alive but in a bad way. We need to get him out of here quickly.
Swiftly climbing down to his fallen friend he checks to see he is still alive, bending down he clenches his teeth in pain as his broken ribs tear into him again. He had almost forgotten his own injuries during the fight but now as the adrenalin drains from him the pain begins to return

On Natalya you find:
A light crossbow (18 bolts)
A masterwork mithril shortsword
A scroll of shield
A wand of mage armor (11 charges)
A pair of boots which radiate faint transmutation magic
Cat Burglar's Boots. These soft-soled boots provide their wearer with a +2 competence bonus on Acrobatics, Climb, and Stealth checks. Once per day as an immediate action, the wearer of cat burglar’s boots can reroll any one failed Acrobatics, Climb, or Stealth check, taking the result of that check in place of the first failed check (even if the second result is worse). In addition, a secret pocket in the boots is built to hold a fully functional set of masterwork thieves’ tools. A DC 22 Perception check is required to notice this pocket. Any other object in the pocket causes it to bulge and become obvious to even casual observation.
A smokestick
A tanglefoot bag
A climbers kit
A second-story harness is a series of straps, trusses, and buckles that can be worn over clothing or armor. A second-story harness allows the wearer to, as a move action, secure herself in place on a vertical surface so that both her hands are free. The wearer can remain in this position without needing to make additional Climb checks, and does not lose her Dexterity bonus to AC as long as she remains anchored. As long as the wearer is anchored in this way, she cannot move and gains a +5 circumstance bonus on Climb checks made to avoid falling whenever she takes damage. The wearer can release herself to start moving again as a move action. A second-story harness costs 55 gp and weighs 3 pounds.
Masterwork thieves tools
55gp
On the goblins you find;
2 x meduim sized heavy crossbows (4 bolts)
5 x small sized dogslicers
2 x small shortbows (8 arrows)
5 x suits of small leather armor (caked in dried sewage)
Everybody may level up. Remember this is the one and only time you'll get a chance to chance any aspect of your character.

What gold have you all got? domingo can you go through gelbors pockets and get some of his, i will run and get some healing then
is this what its like to have a life of adventure constanly nearly dieing and crawling through s+@&
Davos Bixby
Davos casts detect magic over the items, and senses some magical properties in them, Davos holds the pair of boots to examine them closer
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
"Ah yes these are Cat Burglar's Boots, maybe useful to Gelbor when we get him back on his feet"
Don Domingo Delagroza
Dom ingo rummages through gelbors pack and gives ralph all the gold he finds.
I dont know how much that is though. Ive only got ten gold and any share of any party wealth if any
be as quick as you can ralph, im going to have a look for the metal thing I saw fall from the platform.
ill take 20 on it if I can j
Don Domingo Delagroza
Domingo, straightens up and squares his shoulders.
ive just about seen enough of this place. Ralph, Is he concious yet? If he is get him moving, we need to get out of here the stench of this place offends me. Davos, your with me. Well get natalya and meet the others outside.
domingo swiftly scales the ladder and glancing down at the comatose natalya he nonchalantly boots her off the edge of the platform.
Don Domingo Delagroza
He watches with no little satisfaction as she falls headlong into the raw sewage. Climbing down after her he hauls her up and begins to drag her out.
davos grab one side of her and lets go! We cant hang around here any longer we are too exposed
Ralph Smyth
Ralph helps gelbor up and lets him lean on him as he escorts him out.
we will get you back to the pathfinders lodge gelbor for some help
After a little time of walking a serious look falls over his face, quietly he turns to gelbor and the others
i don't know if i can do this guys.
He looks down at the ground
This is not what i expected
Gelbor Halus
A sharp pain runs through Gelbor's ribs a pain that takes the breath out of his lunges, waking up in agony he screams but there is no sound there's no air, and he starts to choke.
A massive dark shadow stand above him. "I've told you ahundred times get up." He remembers the shadow, a beast of a man showing no love or affect to him or his mother, a man he knew all his life, a man he once mistook for his father but he soon learnt otherwise with a few hits to the face."I aint youra dad, you little bastard and don't you call me that again" He slaps Gelbor. "Your father had the sense to leave asoon as he put you in your mums belly."
Another kick this time Gelbor see's it coming and blocks it with his arm. "Get up you little bastard." The shadow moves away, shouting something about someday never coming back. Gelbor get's up, his mother is at the table black eye with blood around her mouth. You son of a b+@+!... you're no man. She looks to Gelbor as he enters. "You shouldn't up set him he's been good to us, he just gets upset with you. He don't mean nothing by it." She then see's him looking at the black eye, she turns away to hid it. "This is nothing I've had worse working down the docks in my day. Sailors paid a lot but they expected a lot... I just forgot his breakfast that's all." Gelbor walks out heading to the docks for another day of hard work.
He hears him before he sees him, already on the rum before the day's even started. The beast. He berates Gelbor throughout the day, anything he does wrong any reason he hit him and it gets worse the more he drinks.
Near the end of the day, blind drunk he staggers away. "I'm going homa... He almost trips up, and swings for Gelbor.[/b]".. tooo have a little fun with ya old mam she's good for one thing at least, finish up here you little bastard."[/b]
Finally arriving home, He's welcomed to a quiet home. He must be asleep He searches the house looking for a his mother. He finds her... she's on the floor not moving, blood everywhere her face is so badly beat up you couldn't tell it was her if not for the necklace she wore. Gelbor didn't cry, he just sat down next to her planning the only thing he could think about.
Waking up Gelbor screams. "Mother!! I'm sorry!" Then slowly realising where he is he grabs at where the wound in his neck was and lets out a deep breath almost relieved with where he is.
Seeing Ralph standing over him with a bottle, he looks away. "Ralph, what happened? is Natalya still alive? did we lose anyone?"

Each of you emerges finally from the ramshackle building, battered and bruised but nonetheless victorious. You support eachother and shift Natalya’s unconscious body between you to share the load.
You exit the building and start back down the road toward the Heidmarch Manor.
Within mere footsteps of the door, however, a hail of crossbow bolts rains down on you from behind. More specifically, the attackers seem intent on taking out your unconscious prisoner!
Thug 1, Crossbow, Natalya: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 3
Thug 2, Crossbow, Natalya: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 6
Thug 3, Crossbow, Natalya: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 6
She takes six damage as two of the bolts bounce off her still active mage armor but one pierces it and juts from her shoulder.
You spin around and see three thugs hastily reloading and an attractive blonde woman uncurling a sharply barbed whip.
The blonde shouts down to you. Thanks for taking her out for me, just sorry we had to finish the job. Hand her and the item over, NOW, or die where you stand!
They are 20 feet away and 10 feet up (25ft diagonal) on a low roof of the buidling you just came out of.
Davos Bixby
Davos sense an aura of illusion magic coming from within the sweage, he starts to search it and picks up a shard
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
"Look at this I wonder if this is the item we were meant to recover"
Davos walks over to Natalya and Dom
"Aye lets get her back to the Pathfinder lodge we can be safe there also, good to see you back Gelbor old boy gave us quite the scare"
Ralph Smyth
will this day ever end
letting gelbor go ralph turns and holds up his hands
theres no need for more violence, how about we give you the item and spare all of us theres no need for anyone to die
diplomacy: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (20) - 1 = 19
Don Domingo Delagroza
Domingo looks up at the woman and smiles at her coldly at her.
i take it you do not know whom it is you are threatening woman. I am Don Domingo Delagroza! How dare you bark orders at me you common dog!
You had better get back to your kennel before I beat some manners into you and your mongrel pups!
Don Domingo Delagroza
well this has all been terribly amusing but I'm afraid we will have to be going now , I suggest you start training your dogs lady, they can't hit the broad side of a brothel! Until next time
Domingo raises his hand and smiles, burn
Suddenly a great wall of fire leaps up between them
into the city quickly, move!!!
Davos Bixby
Davos still holding up Natalya starts to run with the rest as quickly as possible
Davos Bixby
Agreed Ralph we should make haste, cant wait to study this shard
Davos getting tired from the carrying of natalya and running through the streets
Don Domingo Delagroza
Domingo strides purposefully behind davos and ralph though still badly wounded he shows no sign of it his face is set with barely contai ed outrage.
who was that upstart woman? How dare she give me orders! if we should cross paths again it will be the last time.No one threatens me or my men.
Ill need to have some stern words with them too, ive marked all their cards already. Especially Davos, I saw him searching for what was mine in the sewer, he had better watch his step as I am onto him.
we arent going back to the pathfinders ralph, that is foolish! There is an inn on stone street, the three feathers, we will rent rooms and take natalya in through the back. We can hold up there until we know what is going on and once you have all recovered we can take the next step.
