To build a new world, gods were stolen.
World of Izopa
Dawn of Worlds Rules
Age of Ancients

Im looking to recruit up to six players to do some world building.
Each player can submit either one or two deity concepts.
We will be using somewhat modified Dawn of Worlds Rules
I am adding in two further options:
Planar event(Where a deity forms or sets in motion an astrological or planar detail)
Metaphysics Shift(Change the physics or background details i.e; Easy magic/Rare Magic Science vs. Magic/Science with magic)
After decide on the deities we will start playing.
Current Deities:
Hexavos, God of Origin

I am interested in playing what are you looking for interms of deity concepts? A name and a general realm of influence, or more?

We did Dawn of Worlds for our home campaign, it was great fun!

What rate do you expect turns will be?

Heh. This reminds me of the creation of The Thirteen Kingdoms. In that nostalgic vein:

Muhrrygan, Goddess of Death, Rebirth, and Unlife

@ Adventurer #33
Name:
General Domains:
General Personality:

@Harakani
I'm not to sure yet but I want it to be clear there is no waffling or trading of power. We cover everyone's actions based on posting order after the turn starts, so we don't get held up by play order. I'm hoping for 1 turn every 1-2 days and if it gets to 4 days before a turn ends I will enforce a turn change.

I will be throwing bits in this but I won't make any races, cities or orders. I will not be playing a direct deity but more an over-deity fate aspect.

I also encourage lots of flavor and events as this will probably run for quite a while before we wrap up the world.

Forgot to set my last two posts under this alias sorry.

Sister/wife
Suro-caprss "The living spell"
Goddess or Magic, mysteries and art.
Symbol: A flower head.
Skills performance, magic crafts arts

Brother/husband
Nuro-caprss "The metal hart."
God of logic and science, technology.
Symbol: A Metal hart.
Skills: technology skills, maths, languages.

Ssk'Thk'Ssk
God of the darkness, the deep places of the earth, and the void
Enemy of the Sun and the children of light, driven parent and cosmic soccer mom for the children of dark.

Leabhaer (LAVE-air)
Goddess of Redemption, Hope and Divine Retribution
Originally a goddess of gentle means, Leabhaer earned the last portion of her portfolio when she sought justice against Javisk who thought little of her ideas and ignoref them to make way for his own.

Javisk
God of Struggles, physical prowess and order.
A harsh master, Javisk struggles to place everything in perfect order. Vain and arrogant, Javisk is rarely swayed by what he sees as frivolous and chaotic. He does not care for Laebhaer in the least, thinking her dimwitted and weak. He tolerates others if he find then neccissary for his vision of order. He is a perfectionist.

It's looking good so far I will give it a few more days before I settle my final decisions.

Seelash
Goddess of felines, nature and sneakyness.
Seelash is a feline goddess who has dominion over all felines, and their prey (so mostly furred dominion), as well as environments where felines are found (forests, savannahs, junbles). She is neutral, although her followers range from lawful to chaotic. She's somewhat flighty and sometimes easily distracted, so long as such distraction doesn't mean leaving those she protects unguarded. She's also somewhat lazy, and sometimes takes naps instead of doing things she's supposed to.

Or'Nassin
God of the Ocean, Cold, and Aquatics.
Or'Nassin is a massive deity, humanoid in appearance, with very obvious oceanic appearance (scales, octopus legs for a beard, a sharp beak, etc). Or'Nassin is a neutral deity, for the ocean is orderly in it's tides, and chaos incarnate in it's storms. He is old and wise, and while he brooks no nonsense, he also usually tries to mitigate before he fights, but once he fights, he's implacable and never stops, for nothing can roll back the tide once it starts rolling in.

Grand Lodge

Orlessun
The Raven, Lord of the Black, King of Thieves
God of Thievery,Shadow,Secrets and Ravens
Orlessun is a cunning and crafty fellow who knows many of the darker and seedier places of the world. Ever out to find the best leverage or just seeking to survive the next fight Orlessun prefers to just live amongst these places drinking in not only the standard fare but that of the secrets shared there.

Viera
The All-Mother,The Vigilant Shield, The Eternal Maiden
Goddess of Healing,Defense,Love and Art
Viera is a woman depicted in many ways but all in all is always beautiful and usually matronly. Viera is ever watchful of her children seeking to give them the best chance in life with her help be it healing, a beautiful day, a caring word or even a well needed shield to block injury. She is there. She often is thought as a bleeding heart but to Viera those who carelessly seek to harm others are foul beings that need to be brought down. So in these cases the often caring woman becomes the vigilant mother protecting her children with all her might.

From my own game world

Fel Shadowhoof

Goddess of the Wyld, Dark Dancer, Mistress of Madness
Alignment: Neutral Neutral
Power: Demigod
Symbol: A dark spiral
Favored Weapon: Longbow
Domains: Animal, Darkness, Madness, Plants
Subdomains: Fur, Night, Nightmare, Decay, Growth
Worshipers: Centaurs, Sylvan, Dancers, Druids, Bards

Credo: Light and Dark, two sides of the same acorn. Without one, there is no other. Good and Evil, Law and Chaos, Push and Pull, Yield and Shove, Love and Hate. All things are balanced around a dark spiral that leads to madness. Know that the balance is that while all things have an opposite, there is also a point where any opposites must meet. This is where the dance has it's fastest beat, where madness transcends to enlightenment. If you know already what you believe, then you are already lost.

Description: Fel Shadowhoof is a centaur of unsurpassed beauty, with raven dark hair and skin the color of deepest darkest night. Her pelt is a black so deep that even shadows are envious of her, and shadows flit from her hooves with each step, ashamed to be so near perfection. Her great bow, Sunbane, creaks and drips shadow as she pulls it, firing a bow at the sun each evening, sending it sinking down to heal for another night.

Fel is an odd contradiction, she embodies both the ultimate expression of sanity, as well as the wild dance of chaos and madness. She espouses that it is not that Law and Chaos are mutually exclusive, it is that they are not understood properly and are actually one and the same. Just as Good and Evil are but the same acorn seen by different lights. Her followers tend to be considered dangerous for their mutterings about madness and darkness, yet they are as opposed to Evil taking over as they are to Good winning it's eternal battle.

Fel's followers seek a swirling balance between all things, and often dance with wild abandon within the very structured circle their patron is so beloved of, chaos within order.

Organization: Fel has no temples, and will not bless any. Her clergy, mostly sylvan creatures, number good, evil, neutral, lawful, and chaotic. All who follow her see some aspect of her great truth, although none can actually understand the entire dance of life and madness she espouses.

Fel's followers are a ragtag bunch that show surprising ability to work together one moment, and then fall upon each other with holy schism the next. All of this is fine with Fel, for no one truth can actually be the truth for her.

Fel's sometimes called The Nightmare, as a pun on her species and abilities. She is well known for sending her followers very timely visions. She's equally well known for these visions being nightmares that leave her follower awake, with heart pounding and unable to sleep for days sometimes afterwards.

Make your own gods eh? I will give it a go for the fun of it.

Ragash, The Rebel Angel:

Ragash was once the greatest of all angels, blessed by the heavens with the task of preserving celestial knowledge... For eons Ragash was content with his role as the keeper of divine knowledge, however as the world began to take shape before the shocked eyes of heaven a great council was convened. The creation of this world was a direct result of the chaotic energies of the elemental planes, the abyss, Limbo and many other places of chaos. This caused alarm to the Celestial Council who determined to destroy the world before it could take shape... By doing this they would restore balance to the planes and preserve the rightful rule of Order. Ragash however had through years of study accumulated vast amounts of knowledge which had slowly "corrupted" him, this combined with his liking of the mortal world caused him to become the first Rebel of Heaven.

Ragash committed the first act of Treachery against Heaven and destroyed the entirety of the Celestial Council, then he was captured and summarily imprisoned by the now weakened forces of Heaven. However while he had been imprisoned he was not silent, his first mortal follower contrived a great act of Trickery and freed the Rebel Angel form his shackles. Ragash then ascended to become the first god known to the mortal races, for he brought them the knowledge of fire and creation which allowed them to make the first steps to achieving civilization...

Ragash:

AL CN, domains Knowledge (Memory), Chaos (Entropy), Fire (Smoke), Trickery (Deception) and Rune (Language)
favored weapon The Smoking Scepter (Heavy Mace)

I'll come up with a second one later.

Interesting! ^^

Yidhra
Goddess of Paradoxes, Dreams, Knowledge, and the Unknown

Yidhra is perhaps the most perplexing deity of the world. Her followers claim that in her true appearance, one can see every bit of knowledge to ever exist - but she never truly explains her motives for doing anything. She often visits the human realm in a mortal guise, simply to make people's lives more interesting... but rare is the gift that doesn't have a second side to contrast with the first, whether it's a poisoned spike on a pretty ring or a shining treasure inside a heap of trash. Her faithful are occasionally offered some piece of knowledge they could never normally obtain but desired above all else, and simultaneously shown how irrelevant that information truly is. She enjoys creative people and those who seek to explore, so more than a few adventurers have had an interesting encounter at some point in their trip.

Yidhra is everything and nothing at the same time - only other deities have any hope of understanding her or her motivations.

She usually has five champions at any given time - one for each of the alignment categories, and they've been seen fighting each other as often as helping one another on some task. However, after a polite request from her peers, she's agreed to never again name all five members of an adventuring party as her champions.

She has a particular dislike for stagnant situations, and is known to churn things up if she's too tired of them. Lawless areas may find order imposed, kingdoms may find treasure leading to fortune or ruin, and even her own church tends to completely change its doctrines every now and then. For her, the result isn't as important as the change itself. The only constant is change, and even that isn't universal - she always uses the same form when walking the world.

"The Leviathan"
God of Betrayal, Nightmares, Mazes and Fashion. Leviathan exists in a place outside places, exiled from a paradise it seeks to create its own world, and for that it needs living minds.
Leviathan loves its victims, for without them it would have nothing. While it ruins their lives it also protects them from older, darker gods that would destroy them.

Valis
Goddess of beauty, creation, and freedom

Valis engages in what she calls "Perfection of Form," essentially creation of perfected beings for its own sake rather than for any practical purpose. In return for existing primarily for her pleasure, Valis promotes among her children the freedom to enjoy life as they will. However, getting others to do what she wants while respecting their freedoms requires Valis to be constantly manipulative and often deceitful.

Valis is a habitual shapeshifter but her favored human form is of an athletic woman with a high ponytail, her clothing and ethnicity varying from practical to laschivous depending on the situation but always stylish.
