Nedyr
"I have spells to study, but I'll take any shift folks need me on otherwise. Is anyone hurt? I can do a little curing if need be?" He also glances over at Mikmek at that question and asks in Draconic
Cerian Screamingtrees
Madam Miri then with you Aluxion, Nedyr and I in the middle?"
He suggested glancing about at the kobold as well. He wished he understood the creatures speech, His mother had always tried to push him to study more languages, it was a subject however until now he had cared nothing for. He turned in finally out of the mite cave his thoughts wandered to other things... most notably the pretty maid he had begun to woo, debating lines for the poem in his head he was trying to compose for her.
Aluxion Clairfeld
DM, we loot the mite cave before we leave, since we didn't take the time to loot stuff as we went through it. Assume Aluxion takes 10 on perception looking for useful items (10+10 = total of 20 Perception).
Hella Wolf
Hella does her morning routine to worship the land and would tend to the animals.
"It's going to take us a day to travel back to Littlefang and then another day to get back to the kobolds unless Littlefang has headed this way to greet us." Hella would say after everyone was up.
Looking at Mikmek and Wolf she smiles. "Mikmek, you you mind riding a horse so we can go to Littlefang?"
Hella Wolf
Hella smiles and would lift him up on the horse then mounts up behind him letting him get comfortable.
"Blue Moon here is well trained. He will not harm you. Like Wolf he is a companion and a protector. If you hold the saddle here you won't have much trouble. If you are up for it I can teach you how to ride as we travel today."
Hella Wolf
Blue Moon turned his head watching the little kobold scramble onto his back and just looked at Hella before shaking his head and stomps his hoof waiting patiently. Once Mikmek was up she would get up.
"Then I apologize. Most think Blue Moon or Wolf will bite them without cause. Except for my pack here, they are smarter than your average human and far wiser. Littlefang gave us a good impression of your pack with his devotion. Your pack is being harmed by something so we wish to help. I am concerned for you and your pack because of what this shaman is spouting. If we are going to be neighbors your pack being strong is to our benifit if we wish to be Allies. Oh, would your pack like Chiten armor? I took it from their giant centipede pet after it was killed. Would make good armor if treated properly."
She would let him take the reins if he wanted to.
Rodric Armstead
Rodric climbs atop his mount, Fortune, and pats the horse's neck while whispering something in his ear. It is plain to see that the Cavalier is glad to be back atop the horse.
"Hella, if need be, I'm happy to take turns with Mikmek there. Let me know if it becomes uncomfortable." Rodric turns his powerful horse effortlessly, and walks around the camp checking to see if everyone is ready.
Nedyr
Nedyr has been translating right and left, and reminds the others, "When I sleep, I'm afraid you'll have to hope to understand each other." And in common, he adds, "Might want to keep an eye on the
statue. I fear our new friend may not fully believe we intend to hand it over."
Aluxion Clairfeld
Before sleeping, Aluxion checks to see if anyone is still injured (I'm unsure if Cerian and Mikmek are both at full hp), since he still has another casting of Cure Light Wounds remaining. CLW to whoever wants it: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
In the morning, he rouses the others shortly after sunrise when his watch is over. "Ah'll help y'all break camp after prayin'." He finds a small hill and sits on the top, contemplating the sunrise as he communes with Erastil. His mentor had always encouraged meditation, feeling that Aluxion could use a bit more calmness in his life.
"All right, y'all," he stands up, brushing himself off as he joins the others in getting ready to go. "We've got a long day ahead today, I'm thinkin'." He looks around for if anyone has prepared some food while he was praying. If not, he pulls out some deer jerky and a couple biscuits to eat as he rides.

In the morning, Nedyr groans as they get moving. Morning people should be drawn and quartered... twice. but he does stagger owlishly to his feet.

Cerian evidently was one of those morning people that needed drawn and quartered...either that or he was already picturing returning home to the fort to woo certain maidens there...The perfect weather perhaps was the source of his contentment with such good visability though... it made it easy to spot the trouble.
"I uh... dont suppose you could explain to them not to kill us... man those wolves are huge...

Aluxion casts his eyes about wildly. "WHERE?"

"Oh, there!" he spies the worgs as well and grabs his bow. "I can't shoot from mah horse. If a fight's a-brewin', we're all in this together."
Hoping that his horse won't run away too far when it catches scent of the worgs, Aluxion prepares to dismount. Do we spy them far enough out that I have time to grab my bow and dismount before the first round? Maybe get a shot off?
DM AldoriRavenLord
Sorry about the delay, all moved into the new place and map capable again!
The beasts close in, a semicircle of baleful glares stalking forward.

Miss hella told me no kill puppies so I will hold off killing puppies till they try to eat me I guess, Of course i could be all rangery and growl a lot and try to make friends but they will probably eat my face! *lawls*
Rodric Armstead
Rodric draws his lance, and couches it under his arm, ready to charge any of the fearsome wolves that move in to attack.
"Hold together! Our strength lies in our numbers, don't let them try to seperate you. Arilyth, if you can, bolster our strength with your song!"
Miri Pindles
Miri slowly drinks a cup of warm water with a cinnamon stick in the morning watch. "Magic's nice, and all, but I can never quite get made-up cinnamon to taste right," she confides to Aluxion.
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Darbi Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Darbi catches the scent of the beasts shortly before her purple-haired friend takes notice.
"Eep!" Madame Pindles squeaks. "It's too early to be getting torn-up and bloody! Hella, can't you make them go away? Tell them we taste bad? If it helps, I can make us actually taste bad..." Her words are spoken at a rapid-fire pace, nearly breathlessly, as quietly as she can remember to be.
Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Her skittishness causes her to burst out before she can wait for Hella's response.
Casting Speak With Animals. I know a surprise round only gives one action; is it Handle Animal or Diplomacy to try to get them to back off?
"'hoy there! We taste awful; you should just carry on your way and leave us be!"
Edit: I can't move myself, so if I'm in someone's way, please go ahead and move me elsewhere!
Aluxion Clairfeld
Surprise Round, Initiative 25: Aluxion
Technically, my initiative gets another +2 to 25 if I get to act in the surprise round.... but I'm happy as long as I go before the wolves/worgs. If Miri is trying to talk them down, should I wait for them to react before doing something offensive?
Aluxion casts Bless. +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and on saving throws against fear effects.
Miri Pindles
Miri doesn't have Knowledge (nature) though, so would she know they speak Common?
I mean, I'm cool with whatever you decide, but I don't want to make other peoples' skill checks less useful, y'know?

making checks to see how much he knows of worg packs, tactics and well pack hierarchy. Would say taking out their alpha/leader make them more amiable to listening? The perception is to see if he can identify what looks to be the biggest strongest one.
DM AldoriRavenLord
fair enough Miri, no one actually called out what a worg was, just the name, as an aside, sorry for the delay, everythings been wild here with the move and work
randomness: 1d100 ⇒ 31
The worgs, seeing their ambush ruined and bulk of the prey both far readier than they hoped and turning to meet them, snort in disgust at their leader and turn tail. One of them howls in common as they flee, "You haven't seen the last of us prey!"
Hella Wolf
Hella just grinned watching the leader to see what he would do.
"You should go with your pack Alpha. Unless you wish to speak and talk of alliances." She called out to him before he ran.
"Miri, they speak. Sorry I didn't tell you. Worgs are evil intelligent wolves. But my idea involved aligning them with the kobolds if they were willing."
Aluxion Clairfeld
"Ain't that the darndest thing. Smart wolves. Things sure is crazy 'round these parts." Aluxion scratches his head at this new discovery.
Not much we can do but continue heading out. We can make it back to the kobolds in a day, right?
Miri Pindles
Madame Pindles bounces in excitement as the monstrous canids flee. "Sorry to interrupt your idea, Madame Hella. I'm just glad they're not aligning us with lunch anymore!"
Her grin sobers slightly. "Wouldn't that be a sight? Kobolds mounted on worgs!" The gnome shudders dramatically.
Hella Wolf
"Let us not dither. I would not want a hungry pissed off worg pack anywhere near us." Hella said and looked up at Mikmek.
"I was going to offer to teach your tribe to be wolf riders. I prefer them over worgs, but worgs would make strong allies." She mounted up behind him and used her knees to hold on as she waited for everyone else to be mounted up.
Once everyone was she would set a brisk pace to Littlefang keeping her eye out for danger.
