I had internet issues. I will read and catch up

I guess the dice gods are turning against me.

Witness:
The beasts head your command and move away from you as you begin your summoning. The Drow Queen quickly wends toward your position and casts as you work towards completing your spell. (Will save vs. enchantment effect) She speaks again, this time in a broken common "There you are. Thought you could hide, did you? "

Casvian is having trouble aiming in the darkness and his arrows continue to miss despite his years of intense training. He reminds himself of his deeper motivations and decides to keep fighting on.

The Driders take full advantage of their upper hand. Thundrik is attacked again by the swinging mace. The first strike hits below the shoulder, but the back-swing misses. (10 more damage) Thundrik is almost pushed over by the incredible force of the blow, but he finds himself more fueled with rage. The spiderbeast climbing the wall reaches the roof now and casts another spell targetting Argent. This time, it is a well recognized spell, magic missle. What is intriguing is that Argent seems to be able to resist one of the attacks, as though his body were armoured against magic. He still seems weakened by the assault, but it is obvious that one bolt fizzled.

Sumatek moves in as close as he can to the action without drawing attention to himself. He feels an odd security in the darkness, but surely he realizes that there are creatures that can see in the dark. The thought troubles him.

Others?

When my priority comes up:

Sneaky driders running away :(
I'll step 10' E (to U25) and then attempt a stunning fist with my feet (Pickaxe in hand, it feels good to have something in my hands)

If I am going out of turn then use this attack on my next turn

Attack 1: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25

Quietly yet quickly Sumatek used his size and speed to move to a flanking position. Peering off in the gloom he sees the human with his back towards him burn away some webbing from himself presumaby from the drider.

Hmm I'm about 20 ft from that drider. I could get a good shot off with my x-bow but I risk hitting that man. I will have to move in on foot to support him.

Stealth 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (20) + 16 = 36 Keeping his x-bow and light mace stowed in favour of the rapier Sumatek moves to the driders position and strikes at the vitals 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 9 + 2 = 18 +2 was for the flank with Argents position hoping for a surprise on it. Moving to D,10

Alric and Thundrik?

Male Half Elf Fighter 1/Sorceror 4/Dragon Disciple 2

Sorry, IRL delays
Alric curses his missing weaponry, the beast was up out of melee range, and Alric was running out of spells.
"I hope you have a plan, blueblood." He says to argent as his dagger begins to glow with power.
"I dont think i can keep the pressure on it much longer."

Quickdraw iron dagger
Arcane Strike +2
throw at drider
attack 1d20 + 5 - 1 ⇒ (16) + 5 - 1 = 20
damage 1d4 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 2 = 7

Thundrik is dealt a powerful blow by the spider-creature's mace, and the sane part of him inside is- for lack of a better term- amused by his reaction. He feels muscle and tendon giving ever so much under the blow, and he feels a brief serenity as the pain begins to arc through his body, giving him more power throughout. He claps his hands together, feeling the energy of his pain and fury welling up in his fists as he brings them down on the beast once more.

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 181d6 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12

Alric grabs a dagger and tosses it underhand into the air. He is as surprised as anyone when it actually sinks in. The beast seems upset by this, but it doesn't appear to be horribly wounded.

Thundrik is less lucky. His punches are parried by the drider's spindly legs. The drider scoffs and it makes Thundrik's blood boil "Don't laugh at me!" He bellows before continuing on.

Edelle has not been this mobile in a long time. Her joints are slow and she finds herself unable to deliver a substantial blow against the hide of the drider.

Argent Continues to stare menacingly at the drider. He says nothing. Alric sees now that Argent's sword hand is limp. The blue-blood is barely conscious at this point, but he still fights on. He speaks a word of magic and gestures in your direction. On your turn, your body grows beyond its normal capacity and you feel much stronger. enlarge person

Miro unchains the last slave in his line and begins moving towards the next one. You can hear a rattle of heavy chains as they are drug by the last one in line. towards the ongoing battle. The slave previously released turns out to be a spellcaster with a scroll. she unfurls the scroll and speaks an incantation. When she gestures up to the ceiling, it begins to drip with a viscous fluid and the drider slips and plummets to the ground.

Round 5 reviewed, start round 6
24-Casvian
13-Driders
12-Sumatek
11-Alric
4-Thundrik/slaves
3-Edelle and Argent

As Casvian breathes out, he launches a final arrow at the Drider, It clenches at this mortal wound and falls over. It does still breathe, but it is shallow. Satisfied, a slight smirk comes across Casvian's face, but just for a moment.

The remaining drider, still recovering from its fall, stands up, taking an attack of opportunity from Alric. It then reaches out to bite Argent. It digs deep into his flesh and Argent stumbles. His eyes roll up into his head and he collapses.

Sumatek comes upon the drider. It is well aware of his presence and it is able, just barely to dodge an incoming attack from him. The rapier stabs through air, knocking Sumatek temporarily off balance.

What happened with that will save?

Sorry for the long delay. My world kinda upended for a bit, some awesomeness happened as well but it was crazy for a bit
Argent pushes power into the blade he is holding granting it a sharper edge and uncanny luck in finding an opening in armor and defense (+1 enchantment and Keen) he then invokes the word of frost wrapping it around his blade a split second before he makes two quick strikes at the Drider before him.

magnu123:
I would like to check my position and status compared to argent and alric. Per the map I should be recieving a flank bonus to attack +2 I had moved to D10 on the map. The driders are 2 5' squares and I am drawing the line from me to Argent. this would allow me to roll an extra 3d6 for sneak damage as well. I would like to confirm that before my next action this round. Also the enlarge person spell from alric or argent. Was that a directed spell to someone or a spell for the entire group. Thanks

Witness:
You fight the impulse to freeze, and you finish casting your spell. Your eagles appear surrounding the Drow Queen and it's your turn. Sorry for the delay, I'm partly trying to get the timing worked out between the two groups so you're not sitting around waiting to reincarnate, and partly didn't have time this morning to write two stories.

Sumatek:
You are correct. You are flanking with Argent now. The spell was directed upon Alric.

Argent:
It's good to see you again! I've had you botted for a bit, and we were about to finish you off. Good timing actually. I'll ret-con the last round so you're at least able to act. Again, Welcome back! I'm sure you have some reading to catch up on, but you're low on health (25 damage so far) and you've spent 1 first level spell (chill touch)

Ret-Con, please note The drider, upon falling from the ceiling and landing on the dagger, seeks out the being that threw the weapon in the first place. Alric is hit with a bite, and poison infects him 7 damage and Fort save or 2 STR damage,

Male Half Elf Fighter 1/Sorceror 4/Dragon Disciple 2

So retcon means no enlarge? I'll assume that for now
Arcane power continuing to course through him, Alric even drops his weapon. All the better to rip into the drider with his own claws. Alric slashes with both claws, bu to no avail. The drider's eyes flick away to assess the other opponents.
Wrong Move.
Alric's boot follows in a kick, as a hidden blade springs from the toe, catching the foul creature in the side.

Rolls:
Fort Save!! 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 fail: 2 str damage
Arcane strike, drop rapier and Full Attack (Blade boot + 2 natural attacks):

That puts me out of range for point blank shot though.

Two eagles materialize in the air above the drow and one blinks into being on Witness' shoulder. Smiling savagely, the dwarf rips a strip of cloth from his sleeve and ties the twist of fabric around of the leg of the bird. Muttering, he passes his hand over the strip, which gradually starts to radiate a strong light. With a sharp cry, he sends the eagle aloft and directs it at the drow. All three eagles dive at the priestess and tear with teeth and talons.

Crunch:

Two of the eagles full attack. All will use Smite Evil on the drow.

Everyone in the Entangle area needs to save again (DC 15).

Entangle summary:
Area is Difficult Terrain (all squares count as 2 for movement).

Creatures in area make a Reflex save.

Fail = entangled
Success = may move as normal

Any who enter the area make Reflex save immediately.

Fail = entangled and movement ends.
Success = may move normally

Any who remain in the area at end of casters turn must save again.

Can attempt to break free as a move action by making Strength or Escape Artist check vs. DC of the spell.

Deftly recovering after being off balanced by the drider, Suamtek drops into an agresive fighting stance. He draws his mace with his off hand as he begins to work a well practiced pattern against the drider. Still regaining his balance he is only able to get off a single attack. Fortunately Argents presence opposite the drider distracted it enough for Suamtek to strike at vital points.

Thundrik, your Drider is down. You're welcome to continue pulverizing the body since it's not actually dead. Edelle, you're also up.

Somewhere between Alric's boot-blade, Argent's swinging sword, and Casvian's alliteration arrow, ( We have fun here, don't we? ) the last drider falls. There is still the sound of screaming coming from within the temple, and the rattle of chains as the last of the slaves are unlocked from their shackles. You quickly loot the bodies, finding the following

Loot:
2 masterwork heavy mace
2 masterwork composite longbow [+2 Str]
20 arrows
2 wands of CMW
2 tattered, aged noble's outfits worn by the driders. Perhaps from a time long ago
2 scrolls of remove curse
2 potions of magic fang

In addition to this, one of the driders has altered its body by encrusting its hide in jewels. These may be plucked from the hide, or the whole set may be taken together to preserve value. Appraise check is necessary, this check will take 1 minute to complete.

Female Human Monk 7

Feeling very ineffective she rushes towards the temple fearing for her fellow slaves.

Move from U25 to E26

Eh? Oh. Well, in that case, I still pounded on the dead body for that round, and then I dropped out of rage. So I'll be fatigued for the next three rounds.

After beating the lifeless drider's body repeatedly with his fists, Thundrik becomes aware of the heaviness of his breath as he feels his awareness coming back to him. He gives one last half-hearted punch and then immediately falls backward, landing on the ground, panting heavily after letting himself go as much as he did. He makes a silent promise to never do that again.

Male Human 59/66 hp Ranger(guide variant) 6

"I would like those arrows or at least half of them. I would also like to take one of the wands. Another one of you who can use it should take the other so that if one of us goes down we still have a healer." "I am not good at judging the value of things. One of you better look over the jewels."

I am assuming we have time for this discussion. If I am moving too far ahead let me know.

Thundrik, alone in the darkness with death before him, doesn't realize that a single tear falls from his eye and mixes into the sweat pouring from his face.

Casvian quickly gathers the items and assesses the situation, while on the move, they pass out supplies to each other.

Edelle comes into the temple's vestibule and surveys the scene. There are some signs of struggle beginning in here; there are tipped over pews, some smatterings of blood on the ground. Most of the destruction is on the right side of the room, which is a larger door left open. The left side of the room is dirty. There are chunks of lead grime that may have tumbled off the slaves as they were escorted into the back room. It is from this direction that the terrified screams originate. This passage is a reinforced wood door, which has been sealed.

Witness:
Your eagles rip into the flesh of the Drow Queen, a shrill cries of pain becomes a cackle as her eyes are filled with light and you see her face in colour. She is a terrifying sight. She raises her unholy fetish in the air and a pulse of brown-black energy seeps from it.
DC 16 fort save for you and eagles. save=7 damage, fail=3 damage, I rolled triple 1's on the damage, lucky

Upon hearing the ranger speak he Grabs the arrows, as well as the magic items from the nearest Drider.
"Youre the Ranger who fought in the tavern the same day I was captured, correct?" Handing the ranger the arrrows he continues "I may not be in a condition the shoot these, but I can handle magic fairly well. You said these wands can heal, am I correct?" He shows the wand he just procured.
"More urgently however, are you wearing a ring that you were unable to take off?"

Magnu123:
Alric, Argent and Sumatek are still in combat correct. I didn't notice that the other group had moved near enough to us, according to the map, for a conversation and loot trade. Let me know if I have misread the map please, about who is around me.

Sumatek:
You have. Your drider has also been soundly defeated. I thought that was fairly clear in the posts. You're all free to continue on outside of combat. Generally speaking, posts trump the map.

male Halfling rogue 6

After the last drider falls and the intensity of the moment wears off Sumatek will approach the ranger and casters.

Well met. My name is Sumatek. I do not know how I have ended up here but if you are making your way out I would like to join you. Any place that has filthy drow is a place I do not want to stay in.

Looking down at the Drider corpse and studying the jeweled hide

Not exactly, I believe I have a way to remove it. This is a scroll of a spell to lift curses. I used a similar scroll to remove my own ring.

If Casivan agrees, Alric will cast the scroll on him and remove the ring

Sumatek:
You have trouble believing that anyone could find beauty and value in something coming from the hide of a vile beast like this, still the jewels themselves may have a market value around 3000GP if they are properly cleaned of the stench of Drider.

Alric can roll a caster level check to use the spell, assuming that Casvian has no opposition.

Sumatek will set to work removing the gems individually for easier transport in his pouch while waiting for the others to remove these rings of some sort.

Alric reads the scroll and the magical force penetrates the ring, but Casvian finds himself unable to remove it. The spell must not have been quite powerful enough this time, although Alric could feel just how close he was to success. He notes that there is still one scroll of remove curse left.

Walking back out of the temple, calling to the others:

"Anyone seen my Bardiche around?"

Several of the slaves rally around you, the glossed-over looks of there is eyes gone and has been replaced by a new hope. "You actually defeated those creatures. " A gnome steps forward to represent the group. " No one has ever been able to harm them, few have dared to try. You may be our means to an end here. Sorry, I've been afk for a few days. Been busy with work and stuff at home.

Thundrik lays on the ground, panting for a few minutes, his rage finally subsiding and allowing him to concentrate and be aware of his surroundings. He then remembers where he is, and what he's doing here- he pulls himself up off the ground, and starts looking around frantically for Argent. The two of them got separated during the fight, and he feels a need to look for his friend and make sure everything is alright.
