Somehow I always forget about that! I'll amend my action shortly.

Just checking in. Away from home and the internet is not as reliable as I expected. I'll be back Sunday but there's been an unexpected death in the family while we were away so it'll probably be a couple more days before I resume a regular posting schedule.
Hope you're all enjoying the holidays.
Wilhelm Alcontara
I fear my post of going to report to Laria while the others continued investigating the downstairs might have gotten overlooked. I wasn't sure if it was just the holiday slowness, but things are starting to pick back up.
If that's not the case, don't worry about it... I have no way to tell if it's intentional or mistaken. I just wanted to check to see if that was the case, or perhaps I wasn't specific enough. I've not been sure if I should post something else just yet, but also didn't want to give the impression that I've dropped off the face of the earth, either.

No problem, I've had a hell of a week as well. We're also at a good pausing point, as this is where the Silver Ravens "begin anew", so you're about to all make decisions about your roles in the Rebellion. This discussion should happen both IC (for the characters) and OOC (for the sake of being organized). Let's get the OOC discussion started:
1. Your organization's rank is currently 1. Currently the max rank is 5, but that will rise with time. You gain rank by accumulating Supporters.
2. Because of your actions with Korva Fushi and the other Tengu, you have gained the services of a special "Team" for the rebellion. They grant you the Earn Gold and Gather Information rebellion actions, which are described in the Player's Guide. The Tengu sisters do not count against your maximum number of teams (which is equal to your Rank, which is currently 1).
3. You have recruited 2 Unique Allies: Laria Longroad (who provides +2 to all Loyalty checks and Recruit Supporter checks), and Rexus Victocora (who reduces the rebellion's Notoriety score by 1 at the start of every Upkeep phase). Rexus, incidentally, was upstairs studying the records of the old Silver Ravens while you were exploring the Wasp's Nest.
4. Everyone should choose one "officer role" in the rebellion:
Demagogue: The officer adds his or her Constitution or Charisma modifier to the rebellion’s Loyalty check.
Partisan: The officer adds his or her Strength or Wisdom modifier to the rebellion’s Security check.
Recruiter: The number of supporters recruited during the Upkeep phase on a successful Organization check is increased by the officer’s character level. This bonus stacks with that provided by other recruiters.
Sentinel: The officer grants a +1 bonus to the rebellion’s two secondary Organization checks, and can aid during all Organization checks attempted to resolve one event during the Event phase. The Sentinel can add her Constitution or Charisma modifier to a Loyalty check, her Strength or Wisdom Modifier to a Security check, or her Dexterity or Intelligence modifier to a Secrecy check made during this event’s resolution.
Spymaster: The officer adds his or her Dexterity or Intelligence modifier to the rebellion’s Secrecy check.
Strategist: The officer grants the Silver Ravens a bonus rebellion action during the Activity phase. Any
Organization check made to resolve the effects of this bonus action gain a +2 bonus on the check.

Ignati would very much be suited to the Spymaster and that's the one I had in mind when I created him so I'd like to assume that position if everyone is agreeable.
Wilhelm Alcontara
From a purely mechanical standpoint, Wilhelm would probably do well in any of those roles, since he's got at least +2 in one of the paired stats for everything. As I look at everyone else's stats, I think that everyone else has one set where they've got at best a +1 or lower, which leads me to suggest that Wilhelm become the Sentinel to flexibly add one of those good bonuses where it's needed. This suits me fine from a thematic standpoint, too. I'd say my second choice, if someone strongly disagrees, would be Strategist.
I've got no issue with Ignati taking spymaster, especially since he's built for it from both a crunch and flavor standpoint.
Voreni the Orphan
Are there penalties for not having a particular role filled? Voreni's Dex and Int are his best stats, though Str is decent. Given his personality, Strategist would probably work well, but I saw no mention of any stats.
We could use a sheet/spreadsheet or something to track these details, anyone have any thoughts?
Valleria Albus
Valleria's highest score is Str (16), so a partisan would be nice, though it is the same for Corian... that being said, she could be a Demagogue, providing a +2 to the check.

Sounds like you guys are almost certain about the roles; The last thing to decide on is the Focus (Loyalty, Secrecy, or Security) for the group. Your focus will get a bonus on all related roles. Loyalty is about gathering support among the populace, Secrecy is about gathering intelligence and sneaking around, and Security is about throwing down, of course.
Also, I've got the sheet up on Pastebin: http://pastebin.ca/3338455
Ignati Vashnarstill
In order I would prefer:
1 Secrecy
2 Loyalty
3 Security
spectrevk
I agree with Ignati for the priorities of the focus.
Also, can we get the organization sheet linked somewhere?
The Org sheet (or rather, a simplified version of it) is on the Campaign Info tab of this game, and also at the pastebin link that I posted above. It sounds like you've all decided on:
Focus - Secrecy
Wilhelm - Sentinel
Voreni - Strategist
Valleria - Demagogue
Corian - Partisan
Morrigan - Recruiter
Ignati - Spymaster
Does that sound about right? If so, we can return to the RP-side of this portion of the game tomorrow.
Either way, everyone is now 2nd level. Congratulations!

How are we doing HP?
If we're rolling:HP: 1d8 ⇒ 1 Let's hope we're not rolling...
Also not sure if we have any downtime coming up but Voreni you and I should exchange formulae books and increase our extracts known when we finally do.
Voreni the Orphan
So...what I rolled anyway! :D Sorry for the delay in leveling, finishing up as I write this post. Not many hard choices beyond my skill needs, but I do keep going back and forth on that!
Adding Detect Secret Door to my list (I do believe several people were going to have access to healing abilities, but I can change to CLW if needed) of extracts. FCB in skill points.
Ignati Vashnarstill
Voreni you can just learn both Detect Secret Doors and CLW from me, so you can pick up something else if you'd like. I have a list of my extracts known on my mythweavers sheet (the blue link on this alias profile).
My levling is done, will have my sheet updated shortly.
Valleria Albus
I'm having a hard time thinking of Valleria as a Demagogue... what you guys think of she and Corian switch their roles? Sure, we'll get a +1 instead of a +2 on the Loyalty check, but it makes much more sense to me...
Is the +1 difference such a big deal?
Voreni the Orphan

Ah, excellent. Yeah, we'll need some time to exchange formulae soon! Changing that to Crafter's Fortune, since I will want to crank things out like alchemist fire, acid, and smokesticks. I'm also going to be looking for downtime to setup a lab and start crafting in the near future, but I would guess we're roughly halfway through the first book and we'll have that time before too much longer.

I think swapping Corian and Valleria should be fine. If I'm understanding things correctly, since secrecy is our focus, that makes the Loyalty check a secondary (bad save, essentially) check. Having a sentinel increases the base value by +1, and then Wilhelm gets to add his Charisma (+2) as well if the roll is called for as part of an event (and if that's the event chosen for this ability if it turns out there are multiple).
So go with what makes the most sense for the characters, I think that's worth losing a small +1 bonus
