Apologies for having fallen behind this week, I will do my best to catch up this evening and/or over the weekend. I'm really committed to trying to make this work; I've seen too many great PBP games fall behind, and I like this group.
Thanks for communicating at least! I think we're moving along at a decent pace, all things considered, a slow day here or there shouldn't be all that detrimental. Taking time when you need it is better than burning yourself out.
All of this stuff with Bacon going after food is just a slow build to the moment when he reveals himself as the true hero of Kintargo and saves the party from Barzilai Thrune's final form :P
I may be a bit slow over the next couple days, what with the holiday and my brother in to visit. I'm gonna try to keep on top of things, but if I get too slow feel free to bot me as needed
Grimples, as a monster, are literally incapable of actually hurting you. Their bite does 1d3-4, meaning it can never deal lethal damage. They literally just barf, make things slippery, and give you lice.

I assume lemures breath. Most outsiders do unless otherwise specified. Next round, if I'm still grappling, can I attempt to move the lemure into the water and start drowning it?
I just wanted to say, you've just made this my favorite PBP game ever :)
While the lemures were hiding underwater (implying that they could be amphibious), you are correct that their Bestiary entry does not state that they breathe underwater, and thus they should be able to drown. The Lemure is higher than Morrigan in Initiative though, so it will have an opportunity to attempt to escape prior to your Pin attempt. I don't like its chances, though.

A good question. I think you all should discuss it, and perhaps keep track of overall loot value for magic weapons/armor, to ensure you're on roughly even footing.
Relevant to the healing discussion, though it won't take effect until we level, I'm definitely going to learn CLW as a bard spell known and am currently planning to use the songhealer archetype. At the levels of bard I'll be taking the only difference from regular bard will be trading out versatile performance (not really useful with Oratory, given the skill requirements for Battle Herald) for the ability to get increased effectiveness out of healing spell trigger/completion items a couple times per day, which may be helpful with a wand or potion in an emergency after a couple levels.
So bear that in mind when deciding how many potions we need to buy.
I've always found low-level wizards to be hilarious, because of a friend of mine who would make "pew pew!" noises whenever he'd cast an attack cantrip, and now I can't see it any other way :P
Just a heads-up for people, I'm going to be driving most of the day today and probably won't get another chance to check in here until tomorrow. If I'm holding up the next round, bot me as needed. If the thing is still alive on my turn, I'll probably try flailing at it in a muppet-like fashion, like last turn
Sorry for the slow weekend; I had wanted to just wait a bit for Corian, but I didn't see his response, and Star Wars/family stuff ate up the rest of my time :/

How did I wind up next to the alligator? Someone must have moved my token. Ray of frost is a ranged attack. I've been firing from a distance. I've moved my character back. The alligator should not have been able to reach my with its tail. Morrigan might be crazy enough to wrestle a lemure but not stupid enough to get near a gator. I guess I need to post a round 3 action. Sorry, I lost track of what we were up to.
@Morrigan - I had a character that used to make clothing (and later enchanted those items) from any tough beast that nearly took her down. Great bit of flavor for a character. White isn't Voreni's color either, but...hmm.
Hey guys, just a note: Using diplomacy to alter a creature's attitude is, unfortunately, an action that takes 1 minute, and we're already in combat. I wanted to let you know ahead of time just in case anyone wanted to alter their actions.
